The original price for the frames and lens were about $700 altogether. It's definitely expensive to have visual acuity, but I think we can all agree it's a source we all rely on to maneuver through our daily lives! After trying to navigate their online portal, and getting frustrated I made my way to Yelp to see what else was out there, in hopes of finding something closer to home that would be less stressful. Enter Noyce Family Eye Care. All the reviews I saw online were raving, I confirmed they took my insurance, and I quickly made an appointment over the phone. It's super close to my house, and once I got there it was a very quick and seamless process to get checked in and seen by Dr. Noyce. She was incredibly kind and personable, and honestly, I'm just so happy I made the switch to this practice. I've only had one visit so far but I'm really optimistic about using this practice for my eye care needs moving forward.

The staff is always nice and it is clean. I am usually able to get scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. The only reason I gave a four is that the machine has went on the blitz several times in the middle of the testing. They have gotten it worked out during those times but I despise the testing because it takes longer than a typical test so I've had to prolong the testing.

I didn't think it was a stye, but hey, I'm not a doctor, so I just went with what he said. He referred me to another facility. Once I got to that facility weeks later, turns out, he was incorrect and should have never sent me to the other facility. The facility that he sent me to works very closely with him so they were very surprised when I showed up and everything that he had sent was incorrect. The other office apologized to me for making me wait and go through all of this hassle for nothing. They were pretty shocked about what happened. He wasted my time and my money, and I ended up having to go for a third appointment somewhere else. That also postponed my treatment. Dr. Schwerdtfeger (Dr. Joe) would not recommend. If you are a doctor and you were unsure of the next steps a patient needs to take, tell them that. I would have more respect for a doctor if they told me the truth, instead of sending me somewhere that couldn't help.

(less than a business day from my appointment) They did not inform me when I MADE the appointment that this change would be implemented, so I had to search for another practice if I did not want to pay 100% out of pocket. I asked repeatedly why the decision was made, but no one could answer this question. 2020 vision attached to Costco - I did not have a good experience!!! WRONG Prescription - NO…read moreRefund! The doctor appeared short with her answers and told me I wasn't listening when I was asking questions. I left perplexed and still not sure what prescriptions to get. The prescription was incorrect that was provided evidently during my recent visit to their office on Thursday October 2 2025. As this was my first experience obtaining glasses, I expected clear guidance and support, which I unfortunately did not receive. Despite my attempts to understand the prescription process, I found the optometrist's explanations inadequate and unhelpful. Additionally, I have incurred out-of-pocket expenses for three pairs of reading glasses and one Multifocal pair, all based on this incorrect prescription. Given these circumstances. After contacting their office, they did ask me to come in and get a second test for free. However as a direct result of my previous experience I chose to seek a second opinion from a different Dr who did confirmed that the prescription was incorrect. I have incurred expenses from this additional test. They have REFUSED to refund my money based on the FACT that I went else where to have my eyes tested.
