I've seen Dr. Letourneau and Dr…read more Henderson for all my vision needs for many years as their practice has grown, but it appears they have forgotten why locals chose them in the first place. I selected them because they were a local practice and not some national chain where I was just another number. Well that's no longer the case. They've apparently outsourced their scheduling to a call center in a foreign country and I no longer feel that my personal health information can be trusted with them. I contacted their Olathe office to express my concern, but did not receive a return call from their office manager as I was promised. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Ridgeview Eye Care. I hope they realize that trust is key to keeping the customers who helped build their practice.

I have wanted to switch to contacts for awhile but because I have a Astigmatism they just don't seem to want to cooperate with me. But Dr Marr went above and beyond trying to get me ones that would would work. He always spends the time with me helping try lenses and seeing if they will work. He is never in a rush to get to the next patient. He is just all together friendly. Which is why the three of them work so well together. They just mesh well together to make your visit a pleasant one. Robin takes care of helping you with your glasses and is uber patient because well, I am THAT patient! "Hmmm, I don't know if I like these ones or these ones or maybe these ones over there! Wait maybe I'll go with sunglasses! What do you mean you got rid of the Marc Jacobs line?!" Yeah that's me. And let's not forget with the virus in effect that every pair you try on has to be taken away and sanitized before going back out. But she never bats an eyelash. Also because I'm joking about most things. Which is what you want out of a doctors office no matter what type of doctor it is. To be able to banter back and forth. Once I got to that facility weeks later, turns out, he was incorrect and should have never sent me to the other facility. The facility that he sent me to works very closely with him so they were very surprised when I showed up and everything that he had sent was incorrect. The other office apologized to me for making me wait and go through all of this hassle for nothing. They were pretty shocked about what happened. He wasted my time and my money, and I ended up having to go for a third appointment somewhere else. That also postponed my treatment. Dr. Schwerdtfeger (Dr. Joe) would not recommend. If you are a doctor and you were unsure of the next steps a patient needs to take, tell them that. I would have more respect for a doctor if they told me the truth, instead of sending me somewhere that couldn't help.

The staff is always nice and it is clean. I am usually able to get scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. The only reason I gave a four is that the machine has went on the blitz several times in the middle of the testing. They have gotten it worked out during those times but I despise the testing because it takes longer than a typical test so I've had to prolong the testing.
