I stared off seeing Dr. Groff years ago until she moved and then I moved to Lawrence. I had always loved their service and eye wear selection. After my dog destroyed my favorite pair of glasses I had bought at Dr. Krannawitter's former office, I had a hard time finding frames in Lawrence that I liked. So one morning I popped into the new location on Pflumm. I was so impressed with what they'd done with that building. Of course, their eyewear selection was still amazing. The staff were friendly and informative, just as they had been 5 years ago. Bummed I didn't have a current glasses prescription to order the frames that I'd found there and loved, staff were able to squeeze me into an appointment right then so that I could go ahead and order my glasses that day. Dr. Kranawitter is very kind and personable. The exam was comprehensive and there was no pressure to try additional expensive services that would be unnecessary based on my age and history. My glasses arrived quickly. Even if you love your eye doctor, I think their eye wear selection alone is worth stopping in for.

She informed me of the numerous health benefits I could experience from just that change, and no doctor has been honest like that with me. I've had terrible eyes since I was 9 years old. There were no sales tactics to buy glasses or getting upsold and they genuinely are concerned about your health here. They were so transparent about the costs of all the testing that they had and they gave me the right to refuse anything at any time. Absolutely incredible care being administered here and I'll certainly be back.

Maybe one day we will live in a world where we can utilize insurance as much as we see fit ‍ I brought some glasses that I got here last year to have repaired and my warranty covered a whole new set for only $50. It's definitely expensive to have visual acuity, but I think we can all agree it's a source we all rely on to maneuver through our daily lives! Eye care providers are the real silent heroes and I'm thankful for everyone's service provided during each visit. From the front desk lady Samantha to The Office Manager Robin to Dr. Kyle Marr they are the best. I actually look forward to my eye appointments. I have wanted to switch to contacts for awhile but because I have a Astigmatism they just don't seem to want to cooperate with me. But Dr Marr went above and beyond trying to get me ones that would would work. He always spends the time with me helping try lenses and seeing if they will work. He is never in a rush to get to the next patient. He is just all together friendly. Which is why the three of them work so well together. They just mesh well together to make your visit a pleasant one. Robin takes care of helping you with your glasses and is uber patient because well, I am THAT patient! "Hmmm, I don't know if I like these ones or these ones or maybe these ones over there! Wait maybe I'll go with sunglasses! What do you mean you got rid of the Marc Jacobs line?!" Yeah that's me. And let's not forget with the virus in effect that every pair you try on has to be taken away and sanitized before going back out. But she never bats an eyelash. Also because I'm joking about most things. Which is what you want out of a doctors office no matter what type of doctor it is. To be able to banter back and forth. Enter Noyce Family Eye Care. All the reviews I saw online were raving, I confirmed they took my insurance, and I quickly made an appointment over the phone. It's super close to my house, and once I got there it was a very quick and seamless process to get checked in and seen by Dr. Noyce. She was incredibly kind and personable, and honestly, I'm just so happy I made the switch to this practice. Once I got to that facility weeks later, turns out, he was incorrect and should have never sent me to the other facility. The facility that he sent me to works very closely with him so they were very surprised when I showed up and everything that he had sent was incorrect. The other office apologized to me for making me wait and go through all of this hassle for nothing. They were pretty shocked about what happened. He wasted my time and my money, and I ended up having to go for a third appointment somewhere else. That also postponed my treatment. Dr. Schwerdtfeger (Dr. Joe) would not recommend. If you are a doctor and you were unsure of the next steps a patient needs to take, tell them that. This office is extremely unprofessional. I literally witnessed a patient come in for an eye visit,…read moreand I witnessed the patient's behavior. The patient was definitely not drunk or under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. It's pretty obvious when people are drunk because they reek of alcohol she was just there for an eye visit. I am not sure why the staff thought she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs because she clearly wasn't but they proceeded to call the police on her and tell the police that she was under the influence of alcohol yet the staff still treated her for her visit. If she was really under the influence of alcohol wouldn't medical professionals not be allowed to treat her? I don't think the staff would've treated her because it's probably a liability to treat a I patient that's under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I was an appalled by them treating her this way when the woman was just was coming in to get a new prescription for her glasses and I witnessed her behavior. She was not under the influence of anything for the staff to call the police on her is absurd and extremely unprofessional. I will never go here again after I witnessed how they treat their patients very unprofessional receptionist, staff, and definitely the medical staff. I don't know what this lady did for them to treat her this way, but she didn't deserve that and I will never go there again and I will tell all my friends and everyone I know how this poor young lady was treated and how no one should ever go to insight vision center off Lone Elm in Olathe, Kansas. Do better. I don't know why the staff assumed she was under the influence. Now I believe the staff or medical professionals that work there were under the influence is that why they thought that she was? It's absurd and I will tell everyone about this. You lost me as a patient I hope you lost her as a patient and I know tons of people that wear glasses and they were going to your vision center but I've already told them what happened. Now those patients told me they will never go there again and I'll keep spreading the word of their unprofessionalism. No Patient should be treated in this manner.

He was able to get pictures this time! The machine read her prescription as the EXACT numbers that he had recorded during his manual examination. The man behind the desk urged me to bring her back if there were any problems with her glasses. They ended up slipping down her nose a bit so I took him up on that. He fixed it in a matter of minutes and they have fit perfectly for the last 3 months!! I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was and how grateful I am to this location. Couldn't recommend them enough.
