I'm not sure of her role but she knows what she is doing and on top of everything. She took care of the previous problems I had. I walked out with what I needed! I also spent far less than I had been quoted at other places. The only downside is their transition lenses font change in the car. They don't offer those but they are less expensive as well. So far that hasn't really been an issue for me but it could be something I have to deal with at some point, I'd recommend them because I'm pleased with my glasses and Nanette is so good at taking care of the customers. So we thought we'd drop in while out running errands one day, and when we did, we almost didn't return. As soon as we walked in they were judging us and looking us up and down. Following behind us while we browsed. The first communication was not "Hi! How can we help you today?" It was "Do you have insurance?" Yes. "Who is it with?" One lady followed my wife around, and when she picked up one pair, the lady said to my wife "THOSE frames are $240!" My wife looked at her and said "OK." We decided to give them a shot since their prices were good, so my wife picked out her frames and sat down with them. The lady kept telling her about how much it cost before insurance and warning my wife how much the lenses she wanted cost, like we couldn't afford to be there. When she ran the insurance and told my wife the amount, my wife said she'd go ahead and pay in full right then. Her response was "Oh! Really?" The products they sell are great products, and their prices are very reasonable. But the people working at this particular store need to learn about how to treat everyone who walks through the door as a potential customer and not a potential thief or deadbeat.

I selected them because they were a local practice and not some national chain where I was just another number. Well that's no longer the case. They've apparently outsourced their scheduling to a call center in a foreign country and I no longer feel that my personal health information can be trusted with them. I contacted their Olathe office to express my concern, but did not receive a return call from their office manager as I was promised. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Ridgeview Eye Care. I hope they realize that trust is key to keeping the customers who helped build their practice.

My wife called in to get a quote, she was very specific that I needed both an exam for glasses & an exam for contacts the quote was for $135. When I get finished with my exams the total bill came to $252! We called Epic Vision to figure out why the cost was over a $100 more than the original quote the stated that we were quoted a wellness exam and again we were extremely specific that we needed both exams. We asked if they would honor the original quote that they provided to us, of course they would then preceded to LIE to us and tell us that the charge couldn't be changed because there was no way to stop or change the charge. Long story short don't waste your time or your money all they will do is misquote you, lie to you & be rude as soon as you walk in the door. Why would you want to work with a lying company? Avoid at all costs!

They were so transparent about the costs of all the testing that they had and they gave me the right to refuse anything at any time. This office is extremely unprofessional. I literally witnessed a patient come in for an eye visit,…read moreand I witnessed the patient's behavior. The patient was definitely not drunk or under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. It's pretty obvious when people are drunk because they reek of alcohol she was just there for an eye visit. I am not sure why the staff thought she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs because she clearly wasn't but they proceeded to call the police on her and tell the police that she was under the influence of alcohol yet the staff still treated her for her visit. If she was really under the influence of alcohol wouldn't medical professionals not be allowed to treat her? I don't think the staff would've treated her because it's probably a liability to treat a I patient that's under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I was an appalled by them treating her this way when the woman was just was coming in to get a new prescription for her glasses and I witnessed her behavior. She was not under the influence of anything for the staff to call the police on her is absurd and extremely unprofessional. I will never go here again after I witnessed how they treat their patients very unprofessional receptionist, staff, and definitely the medical staff. I don't know what this lady did for them to treat her this way, but she didn't deserve that and I will never go there again and I will tell all my friends and everyone I know how this poor young lady was treated and how no one should ever go to insight vision center off Lone Elm in Olathe, Kansas. Do better. I don't know why the staff assumed she was under the influence. Now I believe the staff or medical professionals that work there were under the influence is that why they thought that she was? It's absurd and I will tell everyone about this. You lost me as a patient I hope you lost her as a patient and I know tons of people that wear glasses and they were going to your vision center but I've already told them what happened. Now those patients told me they will never go there again and I'll keep spreading the word of their unprofessionalism. No Patient should be treated in this manner.

Took my 3 year old here to get an eye exam. She was super wiggly, the assistant(I'm not sure of…read moretheir actual title but he was super super cool, had a septum piercing like me and my daughter loved him) had trouble getting imaging due to that and the fact that she was too small and had to sit on my lap to reach. The doctor proceeded to take her prescription manually, I was SO impressed with his patience and professionalism. Then, after that, the doctor suggested that we go back to the machines and try again. He was able to get pictures this time! The machine read her prescription as the EXACT numbers that he had recorded during his manual examination. The man behind the desk urged me to bring her back if there were any problems with her glasses. They ended up slipping down her nose a bit so I took him up on that. He fixed it in a matter of minutes and they have fit perfectly for the last 3 months!! I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was and how grateful I am to this location. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I just had my yearly check up this week and the staff is nice, helpful, and professional. Their staff member, Chloe, did a variety of my pre-testing this week and the ordering of my contacts and I had a good experience with her as well. I don't have Eye insurance, but they do have a coupon on their website that you can print off for either a returning visit or a first time visitor. I also have to use another location of theirs in Overland Park for a specialized Eye test once a year. I believe that they will match any price for contacts that you find online as well. I choose to have my contacts purchased and sent to their location and that I pick them up so I don't have to worry about them in my mailbox. They have a nice selection of eyeglasses as well. I would recommend their services.
