Insight Imaging is my first choice for mammograms, ultrasounds, and any imaging needs I may have. They usually cost less than the hospital and better yet, I can always trust Dr. Agness, the diagnostic radiologist on site, to thoroughly read the images. She has over 35 years of experience and makes careful and cautious decisions. In addition all the people that work at Insight Imaging are so kind, reassuring and friendly from the ladies at the front desk to the mammogram and ultrasound technicians. I know I am in good hands at Insight Imaging. read more

I got in immediately had my mammogram the lady that did the mammogram was wonderful. Very courteous. I highly recommend insight Imaging. Thank you, insight, Imaging read more

I had a referral for an Ear scan They informed me I needed another blood test before they could do the scan but couldn't explain why it was needed and what it was so i decided to wait until next year since it's not life threatening I'm confident the staff don't talk to each other and don't take notes I have now received another phone call and a text regarding an appointment Based on this I would never go there read more

I would give them no stars if that was possible. DO NOT go to insight imaging!!!! The ultrasound tech was incompetent. She also told me results that she's not qualified to tell me, and when I went in to get the report, they lied to me and gaslit me and said that the ultrasound tech did not tell me that I had a swollen lymph node under my left armpit which I did not make up so they lied to me. The film was so bad that I drove Today down to the bay area to get another mammogram and ultrasound that my breast specialist tear request requested because the ultrasound film was so bad . I have to pay for a hotel tonight and it's taking me a day out of my work schedule to do something that I shouldn't have to do because they're so incompetent. Please go to the hospital for your mammograms. read more

Love insight imaging! They are professional and get you in and out on time and per the schedule. It is also very clean and peaceful. The doctor reviews scans quickly and provides feedback on a quick turnaround. They also work well with primary care physicians and take the burden of coordination off of patients. I highly recommend Insight Imaging. read more

I have been going here for years, staff is always pleasant. My appointments are on time. Would definitely recommend Insight Imaging!

My wife and I give Insight Imaging an A+ and a 10 out of 10! We recently needed outside imaging for a second opinion and further workup related to serious health concerns. Insight Imaging exceeded our expectations in every way. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional, and Dr. Anna Wilson was truly outstanding. It was important to us to get the best possible imaging and interpretation, and Dr. Wilson and her team delivered above and beyond. A caring, skilled doctor and a fantastic support staff--thank you to everyone at Insight Imaging! read more

Great office staff, caring and friendly. Was contacted to make appointment before I even left Dr office. Next day appointment.

Staff was great, checking in was easy and the appointment went fast and efficiently. I highly recommend them

Fantastic service. Polite, friendly and professional staff. Arrived on time for appointment and a short wait later I was out the door with my results. Totally recommend Insight Imaging. read more

Insight Imaging is always on time from scheduling appointments, no wait time in the waiting room and (what seems like) immediate results. Easy access to prior visits and extremely nice staff. Thank you so much! read more

I just love insight imaging. The staff is kind and compassionate. I love how you get the results so quickly.

Easy and efficient scheduling and procedure. I have a medical implant and they were able to do an MRI even when the local hospital would not. read more

This place is awesome! I arrived a few minutes early and they took me back right away. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. That's impressive! The staff was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it. read more

They were quick and efficient and caring. This will not post unless it has so many characters

Absolutely the worst possible place to have any competent imaging done. From the technician to the doctor who reads the reports. Unbelievable! Wish I had yelped them before we wasted time and money here. Insight imaging was good when Dr. Agnes was there unfortunately their hey day has passed. Do yourself a favor if you're seeking a real professional evaluation of your issue go to SNMH. The only positive, the receptionist was very pleasant. read more

I've had two MRIs and one X-ray done here in the last year. Never waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment, results either same day or next day. Excellent business, friendly staff too. read more

I had an appointment for a bone density and mammogram on Jan 9th. The bone density nurse was wonderful and I was happy until the mammogram. The woman that was doing the test was very rude and when she took the pictures the machine smashed my breast and I cried out in pain. She then had to repeat the images of my front view breast which hurt again. I have been here before but never had pain like Thursday. Needless to say I am NEVER returning. I agree w/ Sheryl K's review on 5/4/2022. I too was especially satisfied w/ the old office. Barb S. 1/12/2025 read more

So I recently went in for an MRI to monitor my cancer. I had some treatment and I had previous MRIs, which I gave them all the information on from the hospital so that they could compare my MRI to my previous ones I received one very vague paragraph with not a lot of detail nothing like what you get from the hospital did get a lot of pictures, but that doesn't do me any good. I need to know what the report says. The report was one paragraph where usually it's along page. We asked for Dr. Wilson to review and give us more info as it was all missing and she refused , if we had done this on her own, I think we would've been SOL. I did get Dr to order it so she sent it to my doctor and she said she would do it if the doctor requested which my oncologist is willing to do. It's very sad that Dr Wilson cannot do her job correctly, if she's going to an MRI it should have the detail on there!!!! Very unhappy with Dr. Wilson and her lack of care for my health. It's important to know if there's any change, even small changes. The reception office was kind they can only do so much. But be wary if you're going in for a follow up from hospital, it'll do you no good. read more

I am very upset with the lack of customer service they have at this place, I called from 8:00 AM to 9:15AM and no one answered, My call log says that I have called 46 times and left five voicemails and not one person answer the phone I have an appointment today and I had to dig for 20 min just try and figure out what time it is because no one decided to answer the GOD DAMN PHONE! I don't even wanna leave a one star review because everyone here is absolutely terrible read more

Two phone calls to get an appt, was on hold 20 min / 40 min. Made appt and showed up only to learn they don't take Anthem PERS Select for mammograms, big waste of time. read more

This is a very nice office, taking all the covid precautions, very professional but the one thing that set them apart was meeting with the Dr right after you're mammogram. They are no longer doing that, maybe due to COVID but they didn't say. Now they send an email but to read it you have to enroll in yet another Portal. The info right in my email would have sufficed. read more

I had a awful experience dealing with the staff, and I was treated very poorly, and accused of not paying my bill from previous services. All this was told to the office manager, who also couldn't take accountability for their mistakes, and she even tried to accuse me of being dishonest about what I had a problem with. I was very disappointed in how their staff and management handled my appointment, it's brought our my inner "karen". read more

Don't worry about showing up on time, had an appt that I ended up waiting in the office for over an hour past my appt time. Absolutely absurd. read more

Before the Co changed location and Drs it was a great place. Went in for a mammogram and got the results right then in the office. Now they say, " we will email you results" That never happened. Finally found somewhere on the portal my images and results. You click on images and get photos of your breast. You click on results and get the same thing. Where is the wording for the results!!! I have called and left messages no answer!! !!! I will seek another place next yr. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY FOR ANY TESTS! There is no way to reach anyone by phone, staff was rude especially carol and the manager!

If you loved the practice run by Dr. Melissa Agness, you will be sorely disappointed, or worse, by the new location with a different owner. It took a multitude of phone calls to make an appointment, with the phone tree message saying, "We are experiencing a high call volume. Call back later." The waiting room, previously warm and welcoming, now looks Soviet in its barrenness and a TV blares a continuous loop advising automatic ultrasound to detect cancer, since routine mammograms can miss it. That extra, I found out, is often not covered by insurance. It's a quick in and out from that point, which is good for people in a hurry, but may not take the time to make sure the scans are of high quality and necessitate a return trip for a diagnostic mammogram. And no longer does the radiologist read the results for you and is available for questions. Dr. Agness set the bar high. The current practice underdelivers. read more

I was referred here by my doctor who wanted an X-ray of my spine. We were hoping to see the problem without going to most costly route, an MRI. I was so ecstatic to spend under $100 rather than thousands at the hospital. On top of my pleasantly surprising bill, the staff at Insight is so incredibly friendly, they truly made the office feel so cozy. Not what I was expecting going to an imaging center! It was so refreshing to go to a medical office that truly cares and above all, wants to help people. I would recommend to any and all! read more

I was in the office and filed out a Release of Information form in order to get results of a test I had there. my complaint is regarding the lack of care given by the receptionists behind the counter. I gave them the request form. When I gave them the completed form she handed me my test results without asking me for any identification. I then volunteered my ID. she said no she didn't need it. I was shocked. I guess any medical records can be obtained by anyone. read more

It is always a pleasant experience coming here! They took all the precautions for Covid , so I felt safe and cared for. The staff is professional and friendly and I was in and out in no time at all. I had a bone density test done five months ago in the new location and everything seemed a bit scrambled. Yes, the staff was nice and the person who did my scan was great. Unfortunately, I have heard nothing from the doctor or staff on my results for this test. I always appreciated Dr. Melissa Agness as she met with you right after your appointment and talked with you about the results. After a few months went by and no communication from the new office I called and asked to send a copy of my bone density test to my doctor's office and was told they didn't have the doctor's name. That was a bit odd given you have to have a referral from your physician to get this test. The office sent me a copy of the results but unfortunately it was in medical terms and seemed quite vague. I still don't see where my doctor's office received a copy. I tried to contact them through their website via email and got an error message that the message could not be sent. (Someone at Insight Imaging needs to address the website issue) I tried on several occasions to call but there is no reference on the phone to talk to someone direct, and don't bother calling on Friday as they don't take patient calls on that day (maybe change the recording to say you are closed on Friday) ??? I have decided to use Sierra Nevada going forward for all my imaging tests as I do not have the time to spend trying to research if my health is ok or I need to take action. Insight Imaging needs to step up their game. It is sad to see their reputation take a turn for the worse as Dr Melissa Agness did such an awesome job giving her practice a great reputation. read more

I knew better, but nooooo, thought I would give this office a 2nd try. Front desk asked me if I would like a 7:30 appointment for today's date of 4 26 2024'....I was shocked to get this very early appointment....I EVER REPEATED 7:30..??? YES...I took that appointment...I knew before I went for this visit, I would have to update my information on my paper work...I arrived at 7:00 a:m...sign on doors states we are open 8:00.....I go back out of my vehicle to sit and wait...I was absolutely TOLD by the front desk 7:30 a:m todays date of 4-26-2024....They open at 8...go to the window to ask WHY I was given a 7:30 appointment....The lady at the front desk stated "I was the one that set this appointment up, not at 7:30"....There was a lady with her daughter also waiting to get an mri...she overhead this conversation, she came up to the window to tell this person "I WAS ALSO GIVEN THIS 7:30 APPOINTMENT"....I was escorted down the hall by an older gentlemen to get this MRI done, I told him, this appointment was for 7:30...he looked at me and stated, this is a quote, "You can leave, I am inviting you to leave, you know where the door is"...look at the rest of the complaints on here....I still need to have this MRI done, will be doing to the SIERRA NEVADA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL TO GET THIS MRI DONE, OR SUTTER IMAGING IN AUBURN CA...or...OPEN IMAGING I CHICO....Open IMAGING CHARGED ME $350.00 for my last MRI, 4 years ago.....I highly suggest to avoid this INSIGHT IMAGING......GO ANYWHERE ELSE, JUST NOT THERE....this one is in the same parking lot as SAFEWAY GROCERY STORE IS.....!!! read more

As a care provider of 8 years, I have been to numerous doctors offices. This by far was my worst experience in the very short amount of time I was there. As we go to check in, there is absolutely no one there besides myself, my client, and the workers. Approaching the window, the staff were having a blast chatting to each other and sharing Facebook posts. Although they clearly saw us standing in front of them, it took them a while to finally greet us. We filled out the paperwork and waited to be called in. My client is developmentally disabled and doesn't know information such as his date of birth. As a stood up to accompany him, the staff rudely approached me stating that there is no where for me to sit. While I completely understand the situation, the way she came off was incredibly rude. I'm hoping we never get sent here again. These staff need some serious customer service training. read more

The service once you can get an appointment is great, the technicians are wonderful. The reason for mediocre rating is the long long long hold time to reach the office. I've called several times, days, hours the quickest response I've gotten is 30 minutes even though the recording says I'm first in line. Fix this please!! read more

I have been an Insight Imaging patient for over10 years. Dr. Melissa Agness was truly a gem and a gift to everyone in the community and we were lucky to have her for as long as she ran this practice. She sat with each patient and explained their results, answered all questions asked, and would call after your appt if the results were not immediately available. I referred many people to her, and could not speak more highly of her staff and the experience they all provided. Well, forget all that. In addition to changing locations, everything else has changed as well about the Insight Imaging of today, the subject of this 1star review. Rude staff, sterile, ugly uncomfortable waiting room. No post procedure information or consultations or even questions answered. To make matters even worse, the quality of the reports has dramatically declined, so much so that my Dr needs me to repeat the study I had there elsewhere because the report was unintelligible. I know they seem convenient, but if you have to repeat the tests because the reports lack basic quality, don't waste your time or your money. Go elsewhere. read more
