Just completed my 10th mammogram, it's not fun but it's important, especially when you have a family history. I specifically ask to be scheduled at this location for my annual mammogram even though it's in another city and a good 45 minute drive away in heavy traffic. The reason? I've had three annual breast imaging exams here and each time I've been treated with consideration and professionalism. I have had two previous exams (one at Cedars-Sinai in LA, and another at Sutter's L St. location) that were extremely painful and my request to release the pressure or stop the test briefly were ignored. That has not happened here once, so fingers crossed it won't. The women who work here are experienced, kind, yet dedicated to doing their work effectively and with precision. Very appreciative for the care here. Of note, parking is quite challenging here (they do offer valet parking for patients) and the Roseville medical complex with multiple buildings and some obscure signage can be pretty confusing, so if it's your first time here I would recommend coming early to scope out the situation. I also an upfront about my history of a few bad experiences and verify that if I say "stop" the person controlling the machine will do so. Day before her scheduled biopsy appointment Sutter called to cancel her appointment saying the machine broke and they didnt know when it could be fixed. Really? Is Sutter so poor it can't maintain their equipment in working order? Called multiple times earlier today before bringing my sick infant to get a Stat x-ray, no answer. We decided to go there because business hours show closes at 9. Didn't know xray techs left at 7:50. Just wish phones were answered and could have saved us a trip. read more

I went to Urgent Care this morning. Their response time was surprisingly quick (60 minutes) from checkin to registration. The bomb came when I was told I needed a chest X-ray. Drove over to imaging and checked in. I had another appointment after so asked what the what time was. She explained minimum of 60 minutes. I commented that was ridiculous. She responded it was normally 120 minutes, for a chest xray. I'm not even sure how you can say you are providing a service to the community when there is a 1-2 hour wait time. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of options in Roseville. If you average a 2 hrs wait time, that's a problem. Maybe you could rethink your service delivery. Just a thought. Needless to say I left without my X-ray so as not to miss my next appointment and will have to go back later. The net effect is delayed care. read more

I cannot say enough about Roseville Sutter Imaging. The staff is kind, thoughtful and informative. They share what's going to happen and be expected at each step of the process. They're human, empathetic, kind, patient, from the moment I valet my car to reception, waiting room, procedure to after care. The environment is serene, calming, private and welcoming to family or my support person. I don't have my results yet. I do feel calm in waiting for them as I will be in good hands by this amazing team of people. P.S. Convenient office located in the Medical Plaza. We came here for an MRI on a weeknight. It was nice that my hubby didn't have to take time off work since the appointment was during the evening. We really found the fact they stay open during the evenings, super convenient. We registered quickly and was seen in a timely matter. The office was modern and well stocked with magazines. Although we were early, the technician was running a bit late but it wasn't that noticeable. Highly recommended if you need to get an MRI. read more

The actual tech who performed my ultrasound is 5-star. She was super. Answered my questions and explained everything well. Unfortunately finding the place was a nightmare. Had a 7 am appointment. It was dark outside. No lighted signs indicating suite numbers at any of the entrances to the building. From outside, could see no lights through any of the windows. Tried calling for directions to the location. Automated response said office was closed and did not open until 7:30. Went into ER. Told imaging was down the walkway. Didn't see it. Asked a nurse who was walking from the parking lot where to go. She said imaging was on the other side of the building. I am being treated for arthritis in my hip. Not happy to have to wander all over the campus. Went into building. Suites were numbered 150 and up. I'm looking for 105. Finally happen upon the entrance. Receptionist was personally offended hat I was upset. I asked why no one answered the phone. She said she was there at 5:30 so maybe I called the wrong number. Of course, it must be my fault. No, she confirmed that the number I called was the correct one You shouldn't have a public-facing job if you can't deal with complaints in a professional manner. I complained about the trouble finding the place. I did not complain about her personally. She should have apologized for my inconvenience, not criticized me for having a complaint. A tech told me I shouldn't complain to the receptionist because she is "the sweetest person." I'm a sweet person too, when I am treated properly! Had a bad experience previously when trying to schedule a procedure with Sutter Imaging. Who's in charge of this mess? read more

Had appointment for CT scan with contrast today. Was told to be there at 11 and to be prepared for issues with parking. Was taken in early, and my big regret, not knowing the name of the wonderful man that did the scan. He said 5 minutes, and boy was it great. His kindness made everything a breeze. Staff is great. However, expect to arrive about 20 min early to get a parking spot. They have valet but there is always a long wait. The last 2 appointments I drove around for 15 min trying to find a spot. Both times I ended up on the top level of the garage and had to squeeze into the only spot available. My experience this morning was absolutely awful. I forgot my slip for the procedure so was told by Jane M that I needed it to be seen for my exam. Told Jane M that I would go home and get it. Jane M at the desk ask if I thought I could be back in 15 minutes and I said I thought so. I left but when I came back I was 10 minutes later because of traffic. She immediately, in what I would describe a very rude and abrupt matter, told me that I would have to be rescheduled. In our first conversation she did not indicate that I would not be seen if I could not be back in 15 minutes. Mind you this is taking place at between 6:15 -6:40AM. There are maybe 2 people in the waiting room. When I ask to speak to the supervisor she said she would be in within 15 to 30 minutes. I really didn't want to make another trip so I waited and went back in 15 minutes to see Jane M. and she said it hadn't been 15 minutes yet. She was very argumentative, very rude with both her body and verbal behaviors. After going back to the waiting area there was a lead by the name of Kirby Tyner who called me and ask to speak with me, she was equally rude and argumentative and said I could not be seen now but would need an appointment. I scheduled another appointment but will probably not keep it as I do not want to subject myself to this type of service. After I got home, I called to speak with Kerry Carnes who I guess is the supervisor because her name was printed on a card I had requested,and was told that she would not be in until 9AM. So what's the deal with she will be in within 15 to 30 minutes. I have gone to this facility multiple times and have never been treated so unprofessionally. I often have to wait in excess of 15 to 30 minutes to be seen. What is going on here!!! I would NOT recommend using this facility until there are personnel changes, good customer service training conducted and appropriate communication skills developed. Now I know I was maybe one of the first patients this morning....don't you think that Jane M could have at least said good morning as I walked up to the window after I had waited for 5 minutes in line with no one around. If you have a choice to go to another facility, I would suggest you do so. Sutter Imaging Roseville Parkway WOULD NOT BE MY FIRST CHOICE until there are major changes in their professional behaviors. It is my hope that someone within their organization sees this post and takes some action to prevent this from happening to others. Its not right that patients are treated so poorly. read more

Just think they should accept appointments. If I want to have a lab drawn I can make an appointment and it's done within 5 minutes sometimes. Just recently went to Sutter Roseville Imaging for a routine mammogram. My technician was Ellen and she was not gentle and her "bedside" manor could use some coaching. This is my 3rd time going to this center and every time previous to this was a good experience with kind and caring technicians. She was rather rough and tightened up the machine extremely tight. I mentioned after the 6th image that it really hurt. Her response was "this is not supposed to be an enjoyable experience" ! Well I totally get that but ALL of my other experiences (about 8 total) have not hurt SO much..... my left breast was still sore 3 days later. Also, when we were done she said "you can go now". Not " OK thats it and have a nice day". I think the Imaging Center is fine but STAY away from Ellen. read more

This imaging center is terrible. When they told me my appointment time I wrote it down. Then they called and left a message "confirming" a time that was different from what I had written down. I called to ask about it. Apparently the appointment time I was told was 15 minutes before the actual scan. They didn't explain that at the time and if I hadn't called, I would have shown up 15 minutes before THAT time which would put me more than 30 minutes early. Apparently my time isn't important to them. Also the scan report was inaccurate and when I questioned it, I got a big runaround and was told the technician would call me, then the PA would call me, then I can't to talk to the doctor who signed off on the report because "he moves around." Why is a PA writing up a medical report in the first place? Especially since this one had errors. Very dissatisfied with the service and the lack of medical professionalism. I have gone here for many different procedures, and usually ok. Really nice young woman ultrasound tech. Most of the front desk people are friendly (not all though). I do think they should have appointments for x-rays however. You have to go and just wait and wait until they can do yours. Walk in appointments are not usually walk in. Also there is a mildew smell to this facility but I think it's from the waterfall. read more

I lucked out with parking and got a primo spot. Otherwise, the lot was super packed. They do have valet service though so that is pretty cool if you don't mind someone else driving your car. The facility itself was very clean, modern, and spacious. The wait time was only a little bit longer than I'd like but in all honesty a wait of about 15 minutes isn't THAT bad. The front staff ladies were really sweet and personable. It was very easy to check in and there is plenty of comfortable seating in the waiting area. The exam room where my daughter had her ultrasound of her thyroid was clean and roomy and not stuffy at all. The technician was very kind and knowledgable - however, I'm not sure she understood that my daughter is autistic and kept trying to ask her questions. To her credit though my kiddo looks typical and she's 17 so I get it. I informed them ahead of time about her special needs but I think the message wasn't relayed? Anyway, I appreciate that she tried to have a conversation with her - although my kid just stared at her blankly which is always funny when ppl aren't expecting that. Lol. I would def go back if we need that service again bc staff were really professional. read more
