I had a really positive experience this morning with Gary, who offers on-site full auto detailing. I wasn't actually looking for detailing services at the time, but I had just noticed some tree sap stuck on the hood of my car and was worried about potential damage to the paint. Gary kindly took the time to explain what was happening with the paint, how sap should be safely removed, and what to avoid. He didn't just offer advice -- he generously did a spot treatment right then and there. He even lightly buffed out a scrape I've been driving around with for a couple of years. The whole interaction was professional, informative, and genuinely helpful. Gary comes across as a humble, knowledgeable gentleman who clearly takes pride in his work and in helping people. I'm happy to recommend him and will definitely be calling on him in the future for auto detailing. Thanks again, Gary! read more

Didn't take care of the vents, didn't clean out the cup holder or anything I honestly could've gotten this kind of job at local car wash tbh didn't steam the seats or anything like it wasn't really any professional detailing involved very disappointed I feel finessed. read more

Found this guy from a flyer my sister had, the prices ranged from $35-$70+. I requested work that required possible steam cleaning but Gary the detailer assured me that he was able to get it done without those tools. I was charged $125. My car which is a used 2013 Kia soul had some problematic areas that I'm well aware of , but I looked for a detailer that could get into those small problematic areas regular car wash employees usually miss. Unfortunately there were tons of areas & dust spots in plain view! The vent was dusty and completely not wiped down. Doors barely wiped down, smudges in windows & interior. I was genuinely better off going to a regular car wash. Paid way too much for way too little work. He was a gentleman and was nice when I voiced my concerns and did come back to fix some issues.. unfortunately the price for what I paid still was not worth it. His regular prices would have made more sense and would have been more understandable. I will chuck this as a loss on my end read more

This guy is GOOD 10 STARS!!!! He just completed both of my cars and his work is spot on perfect! Arriving at my house made it so easy I left for work I came home and finished... Way to go Gary and thank you very much!! read more

My husband was in need of a mobile car detailing, and we wanted to make sure to use a local business. I did a little research and found Gary with Inside and Out. My husband called, n Gary was able to come out the next day to detail the car. We are so happy with the job, n now have our new auto detailing company. Gary was prompt, professional, n top quality. read more

Sold a Lexus RX350 and needed someone to clean it up ASAP. They came out and did a great job with NEXT DAY service. On top of that, they charged a lot less than anyone else that I talked to! I will definitely use them again and would refer them to anyone in the area needing a mobile detail. read more

Gary did a FANTASTIC job on our Prius! We had gotten it detailed twice before... Once when we first bought it used 5 years ago. Then again a couple years later. I thought my previous detail jobs were good... But they were barely mediocre compared to what Gary did for our car! We have never been too concerned with how clean our car was as long as it was liveable. Unfortunately after my mom's puppy and my son's eraser shavings, coupled with the sopping umbrellas during the past storms, the condition became deplorable!!! The smell of the combination of those factors was as if something crawled under a seat and died! Thankfully Gary arrived early, spent around 2 1/2 hours, and left us with a car that was like we just drove it off the lot!! I will admit the price was higher than it previously ran me BUT when you factor in the AMAZING job he did along with the fact that he comes to YOU (during which I was able to do some house cleaning of my own) his service is worth every single penny! I will definitely use him for our future detailing needs for sure! read more

I'm so happy with the transformation of my car after a detailing by Gary! He has been in the business for 27 years and has it down! My old car looks new again! I definitely recommend his professional services! read more

Don't fear Gary's location. He's mobile! My car lives in Walnut Creek. I happen to see him after he was coming from a job in Dublin. It was a spontaneous call, (he answered right away) as I noticed the sign on his car. I had been struggling finding someone local to book an appointment, drop it off etc It was proving too much for my busy schedule. Best decision to call Gary!! He was amazing and has saved my car from the winter weather coming. Wash, clay rag (which makes your car extra smooth) and wax. It's a 2013 and feels brand new. You can bet I'll be calling Gary again. Bonus nice and friendly guy! read more

Pretty much everything I read on these other reviews are dead on my experience. Getting in touch with Gary and agreeing on a day good for BOTH of us is kinda a chore, but man when he gets there and does his thing its amazing and worth the wait. My dog exploded diarrhea in my car on the floor mats and on the seats getting all in the cracks and crevices, nooks and nannies, orifices and openings, it was terrible man. Gary got in there and in 1.5 hours it looked like a new car and the smell was completely gone in 2 days. He's good.......real good. read more

I had two cars that I needed to have detailed but I kept putting it off because taking the cars in is such a hassle. I saw the reviews and called Gary Sunday morning. He was able to fit me in and was out that afternoon to work on my cars. I was a little skeptical that a mobile operation could do as good of a job as a brick and mortar location. Gary has proven that he can do as good of a job or better as anyone else. He did a great job and his price was very fair. Both cars look great. Gary and his helper were extremely friendly. They got to work immediately and were done with both cars in about 3 hours. With one call to Gary you get an impeccably clean car without having to leave you home. read more

Awesome job!!! I called to schedule an appointment and Gary was able to come out that day to clean my car. He did an awesome job, I don't think the car had been that clean since I bought it (it was VERY dirty as we had just come back from a 7 day road trip =) He even came back the next day to clean my other car. Gary has a great attitude; it was a pleasure doing business with him. I would highly recommend Inside and Out Mobile Auto Detail!!! read more

Wanted to get my husband's car a full detail as a gift. His vehicle is used for work equipment but used to be my commuter car with all the the kids... so to say it's seen some wear and tear is an understatement! Gary called me back immediately, was available very quickly, and did a fantastic job! We could not have been more pleased with the quality of his work, professionalism, and attention to detail. We will be return customers for sure! read more

Gary is the man! Went to the snow over the weekend with my 3 dogs (german shepherd, husky mix, and blue heeler) and came back filthy how a subie should. Called up Gary and he drove out to me. Did what he's good at and damn I am amazed. Will definitely contact this guy again! Highly recommend. read more

Inside and Out Mobile Auto Detail - 2015 subaru wrx before and after. - Auto Detailing Near Me

The good: Gary did a great job on the interior cleaning, which included scrubbing my front seats. It was raining that day, so he offered to return to complete the exterior wash. He lowered his original asking price (from $125 to $75; I tipped him $25), to accommodate my budget. The bad: He opened compartments and a bag that was inside my glove compartment (it had money in it and he placed other items inside)--a huge invasion of privacy and super unprofessional. He flaked on his commitment/appointment to return for the exterior wash. The cleaner he used left an unpleasant stench for days. read more

Yay!!! I highly highly recommend Gary . Very professional, on time. I can't say anything negative. I had read the reviews on this detailer. WOW!! I will be definitely be calling him back again. Don't wait to call him... You will be very satisfied and happy with how clean your car will be. The best of all is he will come to you so you can do all your things at home. Thank you so much Gary read more

The quality of work in vacuuming, cleaning, washing, waxing and detailing was awesome! I had requested the detailing of 2 cars at my home home and I was very pleased and satisfied with the outcome. The only irritation I have was that they were 35 minutes late for the 11 a.m. Sunday morning appointment...yes they did give me a minor discount in the final fees. The cars were both bought new off the lot, and looked even better than they did new! Highly recommend Inside and Out Mobile Auto Detail as I'll use them again. read more

Well he finally showed up. Claimed he had no memory of selling the gift certificate. Did a so-so job; she could have gotten a better job at the local carwash for $25 and I paid $200!!! Then he tried to sell her additional services (really, the $200 should have covered EVERYTHING). At least he finally showed up, but it was a huge hassle to get him there and then he did a very poor job. Streaks, missed spots, everything bad. read more

I knew my car needed to be washed and inside needed to be vacuumed, and I had been putting it off for months... so I decided to pay someone to do it!! I just searched for an auto detailing place on yelp and Inside and Out was the first one that popped up. I gave Gary a call and asked if he was available. He came to my place and got all his gears started and ready to go!! I just had a regular wash on my car. I was doing my own things inside the house while he was working on my car. 45 minutes later, the exterior is spotless and the interior is cleaned and vacuumed!! If you don't want to kill your back and spend a whole afternoon washing your car, Gary is the right person. And on top of that, he does not charge you an arm and leg!! I would highly recommend Gary for your car detailing services. read more

Had an emergency need (wife's birthday weekend) to get my SUV washed up for the weekend after going all winter with only "rain washes". Called Inside and Out based on Yelp and Gary, the owner fit me in, got my truck back shining, all while I was on the clock at work...now I am ready for the wife's birthday weekend. I highly recommend Gary, he was honest, hard working, reasonable ($) and made it work for my schedule...I will continue to use his business. read more

If you want to receive a TOP NOTCH auto detail, Gary is your man! His impeccable attention to detail and customer service is why he has received such high ratings. He detailed 2 of our cars and took about 2 1/2 hours because he wants them to look perfect. Since the weather would not permit me to get my car washed, Gary just detailed the inside of both vehicles. I was extremely satisfied with the job he did and the best part, he comes to you! Inside and Out Auto Detail is the way to go! read more

Gary has been cleaning all of my vehicles for over 5 years now. You can't beat the price AND he comes to your home. How great is that? I have gone to car cleaners and paid 25.00 for the "full service" and had to sit and wait for a half hour and they have done a quick job and thrown the mats back in and left streaks on the windows and done a marginal job. For a few dollars more Gary comes to my home so I am not inconvenienced, takes the time to vacuum the trunk, clean windows inside and out, put the floor mats back where they belong, clean the seats, take trash out, put air freshener in the car, he just does a great job and he works around your schedule. I saw one negative review about how he finally showed up. With anything in life you have to be flexible because he is with me. As he finishes a job he comes to my home. Sometimes a job runs long so he gives me a window of when he will be here..again I am at home and not sitting at a car wash waiting. It doesn't get more convenient than Gary. He is friendly, outgoing, and consistent. I haven't been to a car wash in years and I won't go back. Gary rocks so give him a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

Gary does a fantastic job on our cars & he's a pleasure to work with!!

I never do reviews, but I don't think this guy deserves an overall rating of five stars. In fact, if I could give less than one star I would since nothing was even done to my car. I called Gary this week on Sunday and scheduled an inside and out detail for today, Wednesday, at 8am. He actually sounded excited to do it and was very nice on the phone which was great. He told me to text him my address which I did, but I didn't get a reply or a confirmation of receipt. Wednesday morning arrives and I text him at 7:41am and tell him where my unit is. He proceeds to call me back sounding like he just woke up (speculation). He asks me who I am, when my appointment was, what car I had, where I was located and what kind of service I was getting. He then gave me his excuse which was something along the lines of having issues with his schedule because he totalled two vehicles and he has been in a fog. He asked when I was available another time to which I responded, "I'm not sure, I'd have to check my schedule". He then asked if he could come by later today, but I declined because I had to go to school. There is a reason I even have a mobile detailer come to my home. I work full time and go to school full time and am very busy. I gave up on this particular detailer at that moment and told him I would check my schedule and call him back when I find time again. I hopped in the shower. I get out of the shower about 20 minutes after 8. I see that I have missed calls and text messages. After telling Gary I would call him back, he proceeded to call me back two times in a row. Then there are two text messages asking if I was in Vallejo and then one saying he is outside of my house. I get dressed to go and look. It's raining outside and there is no one there. My question is: if, when I spoke to him before 8, he could have been to my house in a matter of minutes, why ask me to reschedule? Why not tell me I'll be right there? Seems a little shady to me. I try to get my car detailed every 6 months and am still looking for a detailer who is both good at what they do and who can at least show up when they are supposed to without me having to follow up like a manager. When I find that detailer, they will have one loyal customer and a good yelp review. read more

I just moved to Benicia and needed a new source for auto detailing. I have a Lexus SUV and found "Inside & Out" on Yelp. I called and spoke with Gary McDaniel (owner) and scheduled a Full Detail on my vehicle. Gary just left and I have to say my vehicle looks outstanding. Gary did a wonderful job! I am very impressed with his attention to detail and professionalism. I am happy to write this review and look forward to sharing Gary's contact information with my family, friends and colleagues. read more

If you've ever tried to detail your own car... you realize quickly what a pain in the a$$ labor intensive project it is! Gary was super easy to reach.... got a same day full detail on a high value car. Absolutely amazing attention to detail! I would say it looks like the day we got it... but it actually looks and smells better than that. Super clean, polite, respectful to neighbors, mobile and impeccable detail job! Believe the yelp hype...he is just that good! Will have Gary back for other rides! read more

My dad gave my sister the BMW he's been driving for 20 yrs. He's also been smoking cigars in there for 20 yrs. It was unbelievable how overwhelming the smell was. My sister was very skeptical but somehow Gary got the smell out, cleaned every inch of a car that I doubt has ever been cleaned before. It's like a new car. I would highly recommend him to friends. read more

Gary came out and worked on both my cars and did an outstanding job. There was some construction going on near my home recently that left both cars looking a mess and covered in paint flecks. After Gary was done the cars looked like they just rolled off the dealer lot. He took his time and showed great attention to detail. I would highly recommend Inside and Out to anyone looking to have work done. Oh and I forgot the best part about all this... Gary comes to you! He was working on my cars while I was working from home. Thanks Gary for the great work and I will definitely pass your name around. read more
