Normally, I like to be present for inspections, but because it didn't work out this time, my wife was there. After several estimates, she settled on Bug Baron for their clear explanation of the treatment, professionalism, and willingness to get their hands dirty and be thorough in locating termite activity. I had The Termite Guy come out since they did the last service over 5 years ago, and they were not as thorough. Not to mention, they focused more on selling me on the company, yet were not willing to do anything that would give me the impression they had identified the issue, so I went with Bug Baron. Simon, my point of contact, is a pro. He was always responsive, willing to answer my questions, and patient in dealing with my schedule. Given that I had received so many estimates, he price matched what i had been quoted. Further adding to the value of them vs the other guys, his warranty was for 5 years, while the others were either 1 or 3 years, and if you wanted a 3-year, you had to pay a pretty penny. Overall, great company, great communication with Simon, great value for the scope of work, and very interested in addressing my issues without pushing to sell me on something I may not need. Jesse answered all my questions and talked me through so Much of my issues with rats. The company repaired and sealed all my holes around my house to prevent further infestation. Who knew the company that installed my ac would cause me so many issues creating holes in my vents, and opening my crawl space. Thank god all the rats were gone. I then contacted the company again because of spiders and other bugs that started coming into my house. I also had slight termite damage. I contacted Jesse again and he explained the process of tenting. Jesse set me a YouTube video of how to prepare and what to expect. I know I was a bit much with all my questions, but Jesse from Ikill pest control didn't show any frustration and answered all my questions. I had forgot To bag some things and some expensive medication before we left for fumigation, and they actually did it for me. They were a lot cheaper than a lot of other company's I inquired about and I feel like as much time as they spent talking me through this issues, they are underpaid. We recently had a sudden ant infestation in both the kitchen and the bathroom prolly due to the recent heat. (Re: the bathroom, they were apparently attracted to the scent of body wash.) James was available within just 24 hrs and came within the stated time window and discovered three trails and colonies in our backyard. I contacted James Carter at Eary Termite & Pest Control. He was able to come to my house that very afternoon. After some discussion of timing of the ongoing repair and painting and having the house fumigated, we decided that Eary Termite would come the following week to perform the fumigation. James sent me a contract that evening and we scheduled to proceed. There was some tight spaces that they were able to work around. They were able to tuck the tarps in between the house and some of the close landscaping and saved the plants. A very few plants were damaged which was of no surprise given their proximity to the house. They coordinated with the Gas Co. to turn off the gas and tented on a Friday. They returned Monday morning and had the tent down before noon and coordinated for the Gas Co. to return and turn the gas back on.
