But to start: He genuinely cares about his patients. Not just the one on one care for PT, but as you as a person! I get to spend an hour with him and have really good conversation along with getting excellent care. He is very "hands on" which I appreciate. He listens to your concerns. And he goes hands-on whether it be massage or be cupping. And then gives you exercises and make sure you don't leave until you understand what you have to do. I even convinced my own wife to give Jordan a try as her PT and she truly understood what I was talking about. The front office staff is always helpful and polite Every time I call she picks up immediately and it's very helpful. They take my type of insurance which would be a dealbreaker if they did not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. Every appointment with Dr Jordan, I leave feeling heard, encouraged, and like real progress is being made. I had a 2-level cervical spinal fusion with rare complications, so I am very special to say the least, lol. First off, let me start by saying I am already familiar with Inova Physical Therapy because my son had to have PT for a pulled hamstring, and we used the Fairfax/Prosperity location. The PTs were great with him and he especially really liked Josh, but the office manager was consistently so rude to clients & staff that it was enough to make me not want to go back there ever again, even though it is a bigger facility (side-note: she's so awful that she is negatively referenced in their location's reviews several times)! Now for the awesome Annandale location: This is my first experience with the Annandale location and I absolutely love it! The facility is clean, and being located inside the Audrey Moore Rec Center gives them the luxury of access to the gym as well as the swimming pool for aquatic therapy. There is plenty of parking and plenty to do; whether you're by yourself or someone comes with you. The actual PT room itself is very intimate & there are never more than 2 clients overlapping at a time. I have had the pleasure of doing my PT with Vanessa, Katie, and Spencer, all of whom are wonderful. Vanessa did my initial evaluation and could not have been any sweeter; Katie is extremely knowledgeable in the different modalities of therapy & Spencer is highly trained to do dry-needling. All three of them are genuinely so kind, caring, and considerate. They really take their time to get to know you, your situation, and your specific needs. They tailor everything they do, every step of the way and constantly modify to ensure you're reaching your goals at a comfortable, pain-free pace. From beginning to end, they are very thorough and clearly explain everything to you, giving you an understanding of what's going on and how it will affect your body and its healing. I could not be more pleased with my progress so far and am always happy to go see them. I really feel so good when I leave; both mentally & physically. This time I stayed within the Inova system and looked for five stars among the Inova PT centers on Yelp. Inova PT Annandale was the only one with five stars. It is a very small facility but the staff is well equipped, educated, professional, respectful, with a great sense of humor. Spencer and Katie encourage their patients while learning PT. Dominique is always welcoming and helps with scheduling, insurance, and payments. I appreciate receiving a personal home program from the therapists at each visit. After ten visits twice a week, Spencer believes I am doing well enough to just come once a week and continue with the home program.

But two + months in '08 (w/ Jessica) solved my shoulder issues, and with work I was instructed to do after leaving, no further issues. Sent in July by my internist for very bad back pain, sessions seemed to help but only for short periods after surgery. After 10-12 sessions, Jessica suggested I stop, which disappointed me until she explained that I had limited visits remaining on my insurance, and she said lack of sufficient improvement from PT and other things from my MD that she felt surgery may be in my future, after which a neurosurgeon would likely suggest PT. Did make sense, so I said OK. Wasn't long after I saw a NS who showed me on my films why it wasn't working and surgery was indicated. I originally felt my satisfaction was as much with Jessica as with SPT, but once she was unavailable and I was set-up with Courtney. My skepticism was quickly shown to be unwarranted, as she was also quite good with a unique trick or two of her own. A few weeks later I ended up with Aaron, again, was skeptical but he is excellent. There is a fourth therapist also I have not used so have no comment. Everyone is quite nice and seems to be extremely knowledgeable. Maybe other places are as good or even better but that's hard for me to imagine.

I was referred from my doctor to go to Solutions PT because of a sports injury that made me lose…read moremost of my mobility on my shoulder. I had an initial consultation with Natalie, who was fairly new to the establishment at the time. Natalie is extremely knowledgeable, motivated, and approachable when it comes to this practice. She measured my range of motion and checked my strength and saw that both were very limited. I ended up going to PT twice a week and worked with Natalie during the first half of every session, and then the second half would mostly be done with those who assist with the actual exercises. Natalie's soft tissue work is incredible- don't let her petite frame fool you! She is a boss when it comes to making your muscles cry and then feel much better during the week. She's always considerate and asks if anything is painful and if so, she's always quick to dial her strength back! I've also worked with Anthony and Kyler. Both have been such a joy to work with- they really keep the operation going and are great at demonstrating each of the exercises. They are not only knowledgeable, they are approachable, and have great senses of humor. Today was my last session after a few months of PT. I will say, as a patient, you should always be consistent with the exercises you are given. I felt like I improved immensely in a short amount of time, but I also tried to dedicate 30 minutes to an hour each day to do all the exercises I was given by Natalie. That's another thing to note- Natalie is continuously researching and learning new exercises and will have you try them. She's very dynamic in her methodology when creating an exercise plan for you, so nothing stays stagnant. While I'm so happy that I have full range of motion back, I am so sad to be leaving Solutions. I'm going to miss Natalie, and the team very much. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone who has any discomfort or pain. So read that stance again- this practice TAKES INSURANCE. For most people that means nothing- there's an assumption of we have insurance so a practices should take it. As an insurance accepting practice myself- that is NOT how it works. Small medical practice's (solo woman owned / mom and pop establishments etc like this one)- take a HUGE hit when accepting insurance contracts for their reimbursement. At this point many small business are getting paid HALF of what their cash only / self pay only counterparts are getting paid. Also- keep in mind, an insurance contract doesn't increase with inflation, cost of living, rising employer salaries etc.... I give the business lesson because it's only fair for people to be informed as to why a business structure is what it is for the sake of survival... Now on to the actual PRACTITIONERS- this staff is honestly saving people from surgeries, worsening conditions, and maladaptive body patterns... I've been working with them for 8-9 years and my mom now drives from VA to go to them as well. They're priceless in their cleanliness, knowledge, anatomy and functionality awareness plus FULL body attention. I've never heard of dry needling until coming here but it was exactly what I needed. I usually don't like getting poked but it's really not bad cuz the needles are super thin and don't go that deep (like a tad bit more than acupuncture). If u have any stubborn problem areas, u gotta come here and try dry needling!! The team is incredibly knowledgeable and truly cares about their patients. They have evening appointments so I had a reoccurring appointment every Tuesday & Thursday at 4:45 pm. Their office is located in an area of other office buildings and right off of Little River Turnpike on the 1st floor of the suite. I love how I never have to wait and usually they take me before my appt time, this is very important to me so I appreciate it! Dr. Timothy Yun is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Yun took time to address my needs and provided me useful exercises and tools. I love how engaging and friendly the staff is! I appreciate the various conversations with the Doctor & staff made it very enjoyable experience. They also have another office located in Centreville, VA in which they are also open on Saturdays. I can vouch for the 5 stars on Yelp, it is well deserved! And yes, of course, I recommend them!
