The atmosphere was upscale without feeling stiff special enough for a celebration, yet warm and comfortable for the entire family. Our waitress, Kayla, was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and helped make the evening feel genuinely special. It felt like she was using some of that Georgia southern charm! Every course impressed us. From the starter to the entrées, everything was prepared beautifully and full of flavor. We even ordered dessert, which we almost never do, and it was worth every bite. The best way I can describe the food is big-city quality meets Georgia country comfort and hospitality. Our kids loved it, my wife loved it, and I loved it. We consider ourselves serious food people, and The Black Sheep easily earned five stars from our entire family. If you're vacationing in Blue Ridge and looking for a wonderful meal and memorable experience, make a reservation here. You will not be disappointed!

An old time atmosphere with charming brick walls and fire places and I wouldn't be surprised it the creaking wooden floors were original. Lol So in honor of an old time building I just had to order the Old Time Fashion. A never had before Bacon Old Fashion. Bacon and bourbon just had to be good right? Well it was amazing. Elijah Craig Bourbon, Barrel Smoked Maple Syrup, Rosemary & Orange with a strip of Candied Bacon! The appitizer was a huge table hit. Shrimp and crawfish fritters. Covered in cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese with fire roasted poblano peppers, corn salsa, remoulade and green onions. Holy cow. My main I went with the server recommendation of Lobster Ravioli with scallops and shrimp in a black garlic champagne cream sauce. All of this was finished off with some fresh Parmesan cheese over the top. It pays to listen what is recommended. It was fantastic. Exceptional service throughout the meal with charming interaction made the whole experience fabulous. This is going down as a must try when you visit Blue Ridge GA.

***SAME DAY REVEIW*** I've never experienced such a ridiculous and unprofessional situation at a…read morerestaurant. We made a reservation on Resy for 7:15 PM while walking to Whiskey & Water. We arrived at 6:45 PM, thinking it couldn't hurt to be early. We were told there would be a 15-minute wait, so we patiently waited. When 7:15 PM arrived, instead of being seated for our reservation, we were told by the hostesses that the manager had instructed them to tell us to leave because the restaurant was now only accommodating reservations. Let that sink in: WE HAD A RESERVATION! When I explained that we had booked through Resy, the response we received was that we couldn't trust technology. Seriously? If you use Resy to manage reservations, how can you turn around and tell customers they can't trust the very technology your restaurant uses? To make matters worse, the two hostesses were just standing around while there were open tables and dirty tables throughout the restaurant. From what we could see, there appeared to be no urgency to clean tables or seat waiting customers. We were standing there with a reservation while open tables sat unused, yet we were being told to leave. The entire situation was baffling and made the restaurant look disorganized, poorly managed, and completely indifferent to its customers. What made this experience even worse was that not a single manager had the courtesy to come speak to us directly. Instead, management apparently chose to hide behind the hostesses and leave them to deliver this absurd message. No apology, no explanation, no attempt to resolve the situation, and absolutely no accountability. We arrived early, waited patiently, and honored our reservation, only to be treated as if we were the problem. If there was an issue with the reservation system or the restaurant's ability to honor reservations, that is management's responsibility--not an excuse to turn customers away. Whiskey & Water, your reservation system is only as good as your ability and willingness to honor it. Telling customers they can't trust technology when they have a reservation is an embarrassing response. Having open tables, dirty tables, staff standing around, and a manager who won't even come out to address the situation makes the entire experience even more unacceptable. There are plenty of restaurants that understand the basics of hospitality: honor reservations, keep tables clean, communicate honestly, and treat customers with respect. Whiskey & Water failed on every front. Save yourself the frustration and spend your money somewhere that actually values your time and business. Based on our experience, Whiskey & Water has some serious management and customer service issues that need to be addressed. We will not be returning.
