Our first trip to Innsbrook definitely won't be our last! We did a little getaway for our anniversary. While check in wasn't until 4, you are allowed on the grounds for the days you are there, whether you are checked in or not at your rental. Such a great perk! We spent the majority of the day at the Charette Creek Commons pool. Its huge, plenty of seating. There are umbrellas that are permanently in the ground so the chairs are arranged around them. There are no towels, bring your own and while inflatables are not allowed, pool noodles are. There is a food service area on site, they had BBQ this day, and prices seemed reasonable. There is a full bar on site, which beer is reasonable, I feel like the frozen drinks and other concoctions are priced high. Unfortunately every time I tried to get one of them, they were out or not frozen yet. There is a restaurant on site, Clubhouse Bar and Grill, however we had overheard there were several bachelor/bachelorette parties headed there so we opted to save that for another time. There is a little shop and creamery also on the grounds. We are not golfers but the golf course was popular and looked like a great course. Cannot wait to get back! read more

I am in shock by my last experience here. This is for the Geneva Cove Condo on lake Aspen. Booked for 2 nights and paid $850. Once we got there on Friday night, the door couldn't be opened as the door chain was blocking it, which is very bizarre because that only happens when you lock it from the inside. They did bring someone to fix it and by the time it was all figured out, 45 min had passed. We needed to get inside to change into our bathing suits so we could go to the beach. Then once inside, my 5 year old got on the bed and was playing with my husband. My kid got inside the covers and I noticed an off white stain size of a hand on the white sheet (we all know what that was)! I tell her to get out of there immediately. I inspect the sheet and there are also hairs and sand. Makeup stain on pillow. They had never been changed it seemed like. I inspect the bed cover as well and notice a weird brown stain on it and a bunch of other stains. It was pretty much filthy. It had a film of dirt on top. Especially the throw pillows. They hadn't been changed or washed in months, if not years. You could see the spot in the middle where people had put their heads, it looked greasy and tan. I check out the other beds and they all had the same issue. Bed covers and throw pillows were all beyond filthy and smelly. I call customer service and explain the situation. They bring someone to change the sheet but only for one bed. I tell her they all needed to be changed. She goes back to bring more linens. Meanwhile the kitchen sink smelled like there was a dead animal in there somewhere down the drain. I ask housekeeper to come take a look while she was in there (she was really nice actually). I thought the smell came from the water, but she figured out it was actually the drain. FLIES were coming out of the sink drain as well. That's how nasty it was. She said she had some tablets in her car for it and that she was going to grab them for me. That did fix the problem thanks God, but it left me really grossed out with the place. Oh, and my mom went and cleaned the patio furniture as it was all covered in sand - tables and chairs. There was no where to sit. So by the time all this was over, it was dark outside and we missed going to the beach altogether. Innsbrook Inn texts me the next day saying they will offer me a late check out for all of the troubles they caused. I thought that was a joke. I told them they should have offered at least half off refund for wasting almost half my time. Honestly if they had any shame at all, they would have offered a full refund for having us come into contact with other people's nasty bodily fluids!!! They said they would offer me $120 off but no more. This was a complete rip off! read more

The speed limit should not be 23mph as NO ONE adheres to it. Especially the young teen girl driving a white tesla texting on her phone with it in her face while we were walking our dogs on the side of the road. She almost mowed us down not paying attention. If I had known this place gets over crowded by Friday I would have never booked here. People drive like nut jobs. All day on Saturday that's all I saw was non stop vehicle traffic by my cabin. Make sure you spray yourself with Tick spray before walking around. Our dogs got ticks on them and so did I. I have not had one since I was a kid. Thankfully, not the kind that carry Lyme disease. They kept the grounds looking great. It was easy to check in. It is a nice place, but I was not expecting so many people in that area. The cabins around us were booked or it were people coming in for the weekend and they were quiet and that was nice and adhered to the dark sky and noise ordinances. The not so good review is due to distracted drivers and speeding in the area. I did not like that. Now the whole experience talking to the staff was 5 stars and the Security Gate people were top notch and were very friendly and very helpful too. read more

Beautiful resort with cabins made for big families! My family of 8 (including 6 adults) were comfortable in the cabin. Large dining tables and outdoor seating. Kitchen was stocked and plenty of blankets and pillows to go around. The pool was great - make sure to bring towels and pool noodles. They don't allow inflatables. There's an ice cream parlor and Dollar General Market about 10 minutes away if you forget anything. read more

We have rented from Innsbrook Vacations in the past to attend an event hosted by Innsbrook called Sky Wars. It is a fireworks competition that Charlie Boyce, the owner of Innsbrook, is very involved with. This year we booked a house and paid well over $4,000 for. Because of weather, the Sky Wars was cancelled on 6/24/24 for the first time in 19 years. We immediately called Innsbrook Vacations to reschedule our reservation, and were told there was nothing they would do. They tried to hide behind a "policy" and would offer nothing. Sorry, they are going to issue a refund of $300 for the cleaning fee less 3% for processing. We didn't want any money back, just reschedule our stay. We were told no. A 50% credit toward our next years stay? No. It's an 8 hour one way trip for all 15 of us. There is NOTHING they would do. Rent from anywhere but here. If you see Super Host Dane, run!! read more

Beautiful property, love coming here for long weekends to kayak, hike and fish. 1 stars for the gorgeous scenery and peace and quiet. BUT this most recent trip I had the most unfortunate experience with the security guard at the gate. To preface I used to own a home in innsbrook and had remnants of a sticker on my car (but I had scraped the vast majority of it off). He told me to pull up and I explained to him that I was renting a home but used to be an owner so the sticker wouldn't work (obviously?! because it was almost fully scraped off) He yelled and me and told me to immediately scrape it off. He handed me a knife and watched as I struggled to scratch it off my car as other cars lined up behind me and when I couldn't get the rest of it off he scoffed and me and yelled at me to just give it back to him. Ridiculous. Then when I told him my name he quite literally did not listen and lectured me that innsbrook is invite only (i know??!! i used to be an owner?? and I had already provided him with the address we were staying at). Felt like he was profiling and judging me because I look young. He made a couple other rude comments and just left a very bad taste in my mouth. read more

We stayed here for an annual family reunion vacation trip. It was a good choice overall, and it definitely met the major needs for all the entertainment of a large family, adults and kids alike. We stayed in 4 different condos in the same area of the resort. The resort itself is beautiful and VERY private. There is a limited entrance security gate going in and out. The beach with floating dock was a GREAT swim area. The volleyball, tennis, and shuffleboard area were adequate, but not well maintained. Fine for a large family though. The free WiFi was also nice, though some family members had trouble connecting their devices. There's plenty of LTE/4G cellular coverage too. This is an interesting vacation option. It's not a hotel - each condo is owned by a private owner, but booked and managed by the resort. They provide clean towels and new toiletries daily along with taking out the trash, but no actual maid service. No biggie, just something to be aware of. Staying in 4 different condos made it obvious that each is decorated and arranged differently, though the floor plans are similar - 2-3 bedrooms upstairs, each with a bathroom and 2 twin or full beds, then a living area with kitchen, bathroom, and wooden deck and grill downstairs. So a good family layout. But the problem is that the stay isn't as consistent as it could be. For example, the condo next to us had an outdoor rinse shower, while we did not. Kitchen utensils and amenities were all present, but varied greatly in quality and type. The comforts were all there, though. And we aren't a picky family - we want to be together and having fun, not bathed in luxury. For that the resort was great and would have warranted at least 4 stars if not for 2 problems that really made the stay less-than-comfortable at times. First, the water pressure in all our condo (#92) showers was terrible. Just terrible. We are fairly certain that low-flow shower heads were to blame because the bath tap water had tons of pressure. But it was hard to feel clean and annoying to shower since rinsing took forever. Not good when you're sweaty and sandy from games or the beach. The shower wasn't even enough to rise sand from the shower floor, so we had to physically clean it with a washcloth. At least they brought us plenty of those each day, along with towels! Second, the management decided to re-roof our condo on the last couple days of our stay. Starting at 7am and running until 7pm, roofers were scraping off shingles and hammering on new roofing right above our heads. Great - they're keeping the maintenance up. But it seemed like unprofessional management not to wait until the condo was vacant for a day or two. My new wife and I are late sleepers, especially on vacation! It was really incredibly annoying to be woken up so early and be completely unable to sleep in past 7am. We didn't address this problem with the management, so perhaps they'd have stopped it had we asked. But it shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. SUMMARY: This is a beautiful resort with a great beach and basic amenities for large families. If the goal is simply to have fun with loved ones, I recommend it highly. But with some more quality assurance and professional maintenance, this could have been a go-to location for us in the future. As it is, we'll take the fond memories and smile, but will probably not return regularly. read more

My husband and I had a weekend getaway, which was planned as a "Romance Package" according to the website. When we arrived, the receptionist just stared at us. After we let her know we were checking in, she handed us keys to our condo, without any directions on how to get there, amenities, etc. We found our condo, which was just super outdated and musty. The pillows were flat and stained yellow. Fast forward to dinner at the golf club. Dinner was barely edible, and they brought our app after the entree. They handed us the check without seeing if we were finished, and then wanted us to pay (which should have been covered under our "Romance package") We had to show our Reservation receipt to the manager "to prove that we had that package". IT JUST GETS WORSE.... After dinner we went to Kroger's to get food for the next evening, since we wouldn't be returning to the grill. When coming back into the resort, the gate guards WOULDN'T LET US IN! They asked who's guest we were, and asked why we didn't have a pass on the car. A mistake on the guard's part who just let us right in when we arrived earlier in the day. We had to pull over, and once again show the receipt. Talk about feeling unwelcome. AND IT GETS WORSE Part of the "Romance package" was a couple's massage in our room. After waiting 30 minutes past our scheduled massage we called the front desk to find THEY NEVER EVEN SET OUR MASSAGE UP! We had the reservations months in advance, and someone never even made the appointment....seriously. We made another reservation for kayaks, to which the person at the front desk said "I'm here by myself, and I can't get them out. I'll look around for help in a minute." We made these reservations hours in advance. We felt like we were invading someone's private property, and couldn't find a spot to fish without walking through someone's back yard. We give 2 stars for the scenery. read more

This year was the fourth Thanksgiving we spent at Innsbrook Resort, and I am sorry to have to say this, but this year the service was terrible. When we were seated the table was not completely set (all places did not have napkins or silverware). We waited for at least 20 minutes before a wait person came to our table, in fact we had to go to the hostess and ask for the wait person. We had to wait longer than we should have for a high chair and ask several times for one. When I made the reservation I was required to give a credit card, which is standard. I told our waitress to charge the meal to that card, and when I asked for a receipt I was told they couldn't give me one. I will say that the food was very good as usual but I'm afraid that is the only good thing I can say about this years Thanksgiving experience. read more

Where to Begin...oh where to begin... So my wife and I had our wedding recently at Innsbrook this past September. We began the process with Innsbrook about a year before our wedding. We fell in love with the venue and the beautiful scenery. Everything was put together very well hats off to the maintenance and landscaping crew. Wow! Unfortunately that is where my admiration just about stops. This is also the reason for the one star along with the food in the end superseding our expectations. As far as the staff goes, the cooks/servers/bartender were fine. Not above and beyond but were ok. Our biggest downfall was the wedding coordination staff and senior management. Which is sad as these are the people who should control the experience the most and provide the best service. I HAVE NEVER FELT LESS APPRECIATED BY A GROUP OF PEOPLE IN MY LIFE! Our initial wedding coordinator quit mid-stream, which I get happens, but no excuses the customer should never have to feel this pain. Also especially with a wedding, your not just buying a car here, even though you are definitely spending that kind of money. Clearly let me tell you though it may seem like a lot of money to you, but to them its just another wedding another slot on the schedule. So it took them 3 months plus to get a new coordinator. Meantime my communications were being ignored, questions were going unanswered. When I wanted to complain to management and try to fix the issue they reverted my communications back to the original person I was communicating with as if to say they were too good to be bothered with my troubles. Also we found out the wedding coordinator was no longer working with them because the security guard at the gate let it slip by accident. We literally had to ask the Wedding Manager, who was serving us our tasting menu, before she was forward with the information. Once we had a new wedding coordinator we had a meeting to try and right the ship. Which at the time seemed positive, but more of the same came to follow. Wedding day comes around and our coordinator was there early....to sell more weddings...then spend a few hours on making sure our wedding wasn't a disaster. Don't worry though she clocked out at *pm mid way through our wedding without saying anything to us, no thank you, no hey I am leaving and this person is in charge...nothing. They say that this is normal for the primary coordinator to leave unannounced so as to not disturb the bride and groom. Which this wouldn't have been a problem if I wasn't chasing Innsbrook around to clear plates, cut the cake, light the bon fires, or really anything else my DJ or photographer didn't make sure was done. MY DJ AND PHOTOGRAPHER WE'RE A MILLION TIMES MORE ATTENTIVE THAN ANYONE AT INNSBROOK! So hopefully your DJ and Photographer were as good as ours. Innsbrook went through NO EXTRA EFFORT to make sure our day was special, or even effortless to say the least. They will nickel and dime you for everything, NOTHING IS INCLUDED so don't expect to feel like royalty coming out of this thing. TO SUM IT UP GREAT PLACE, TERRIBLE WEDDING STAFF. FYI I was also promised a follow up to my complaints after my wedding day, safe to say that it's not coming. Quit the wedding industry and just do events, you don't care about people enough. read more

As a bride, I dreamed about my wedding since I was a little girl. When we went to visit innsbrook for the first time we fell in love with the venue and that lake view. However, our first meeting with Ciarra was very impersonal and quick, but we still decided to give Innsbrook a shot. Fast forward to our tasting meeting. When we checked in with the security guard, and we told him we had a meeting with Ciarra, he was confused and said he didn't think she worked there anymore. He let us in still and we went into the Aspen center, where we were directed to a conference room. A conference room. For a wedding tasting. Not classy, at all. The food was mediocre at best and we were served items that were not listed on either the 2017 or the 2018 menus. When we asked the "chef" how the stuffed chicken was (which one was the few chicken entrees listed on both menus) he responded with "I have never seen that made"... To put the cherry on top of THAT meeting, the "stand-in" "upper management" only told us of our wedding coordinator no longer working their when we asked her about it. We were then told they would have somebody hired within 2 weeks. 3 months later, we emailed them again and suddenly there was a new coordinator, Katie hired. No welcome email from her or the upper management. We then had a meeting with her and another person in upper management and finally felt a little bit better about everything. That changed once we arrived into town for the wedding weekend. We chose the only room we could bring in outside food for the rehearsal dinner--the Geneva center. We were told that we would be able to pick up the key anytime after 9am the Friday before the wedding. We arrived at 2pm (so 5 hours after we were allowed) and there was no key to be found, no wedding coordinator to be found, and the room was not set up. About an hour later, we were able to get inside the room and tableclothes were brought over by Katie. No appology from Katie. By this point in the week, rain was in the forecast and we had a backup plan of doing the ceremony inside, however when we went to do the rehearsal, Katie wanted to go home so we had to do the rehearsal in the front of the building, outside under the roof because it was raining. The next morning, we were able to start decorating at 9am, which we had to wait outside for someone to show up. Katie was supposed to have easels out for us to use, which she didn't, nor was she there to get them. The girl working the front desk found them for me but I had to wait a while since she was checking in guests for the condos. The wedding and reception were both very fun and to our surprise, the food was MUCH better than at the tasting. I had to track down Katie twice to clear plates, cut cake and light the bonfires (that they had put the wood in way early so it got soaked during the day), however the second time I I couldn't find her. It was then brought to my attention that she had left and there was some other coordinator, who we had never met or knew she was the new one in charge. The new coordinator was much better at keeping everything on track for the remainder of the night and did what she could to fix what Katie had ruined. The next morning we voiced our opinions of the wedding to the manager who had sat in on the first meeting with Katie, who told us she would have someone reach out to us... well it's now been one month since that conversation and we have yet to have anyone from innsbrook reach out to us. read more

We just spent July 4th weekend at Innsbrook and had a great time! We reserved the Geneva Center banquet room for a "family lock-in" and the kids had a blast!! If you're looking for an over night venue for your large family or youth group event, I strongly recommend the Geneva Center at Innsbrook. read more

A great wedding venue but can see the highly disorganized wedding coordinator & misc. staff not having direction, as a bridesmaid I was disappointed in the responses given when questions were asked causing my bride to be extremely upset and stressed. Would expect better from a venue of this velocity. Hopefully others brides have a better experience than we did, unfortunately compensation was not made for the mistakes on their part and they continue to be credited. Her wedding was probably the most extravagant they have experienced and even made a wave in the headlines. read more

The recent changes to the property are game changers! In just the last year the conference center and conference rooms were all updated. The clubhouse was completely remodeled and new casual dining experience was added that could host a business lunch or comfortably accommodate a family dining with young children. The menu offers great flexibility as well. Great Food. Saving the best for last is the new amenities complex which just opened this year (2016)! Complete with a walk in pool, lazy river, locker rooms, top of the line fitness center, outdoor dining pavilion complete with large flat-screens to watch the game, and a walk up bar (Summerhaus) this place now offers everything you might want in a weekend getaway or vacation spot. The poolside drinks were incredible. Perfectly garnished and a great variety. Craft beers, frozen drinks, things for the kids... they thought of it all. We brought 5 couples and their children out to the property this past weekend and everyone was blown away by the property and everything it now has to offer. It wont remain a "hidden gem" for long! read more

We had the pleasure of getting married at Innsbrook this past weekend. The ceremony was held lake side and our reception was held up at the lodge. We couldn't have asked for a better experience for us or our guests. The setting was simply breathtaking, the service was impeccable and attention to detail by the staff was amazing. Jeannie and Cassie were our coordinators who are the best in the business. They took extremely good care of us throughout the entire planning process right up until the end of the night on the day of. They are extremely professional, friendly and easy to do business with. I consider them such a blessing - they made everything so seamless. The food was delectable as well - Kelly the beverage manager and Chef Jim outdid themselves on our guests' experience. We're still getting compliments on everything from the cocktails to the passed hors d'ouvres to the amazing entrees. Kristina helped us with lodging including coordinating welcome bags and ensuring all of our guests had comfortable accommodations. This is a great spot for a wedding getaway weekend and everyone had a great time golfing, horse back riding, hiking and taking in the lake life over the course of the weekend. We are so thrilled we found Innsbrook and their incredible staff. Truly amazing! read more
