    Double queen - non-smoking
    Todd B.

Room was very clean. I was able to get for cheaper rate than in Wentzville. Standard breakfast, but was good and well kept. No issues during our stay. Conveniently located right off I-70. The only thing I didn't care for was it was between two truck stops. Parking lot was decently lit.

Rooms are smokey, dirty, with stained curtains and stink. I would never stay here again.

It is something like the Lake of the Ozarks, only with a hundred man-made lakes and a gated community of the St. Louis elite. I was fortunate enough to have wealthy family members, this does not include myself, sadly, but does extend to my generous grandparents. "Our" house is on the St. Gallen Circle but we have our own "lake" (more like a pond, but they use the word quite loosely out these ways). The scenery and wildlife are breath-taking; last week we saw 10+ deer, turkey, falcons, crane, turtles and, of course, fish. Very little noise and very little bugs. It's like camping for the Real Housewives of Chesterfield. Plus, there is an in-ground pool, work out facilities, a giant human-sized chess board, tennis courts, golfing, a restaurant with a bar and a quickie mart. We stayed on the ground for a whole week, only venturing outside our community in search of hard liquor. Best. vacation. ever.

Perfect for a one night or weekend getaway. This is a resort/residential community that includes cabins (Chalets), homes, villas, and condos. There is a nice 18hole public golf course, tennis courts, sand volley ball courts, boat rentals, horseback riding and lots and lots of NATURE! Our family was looking for a place to vacation that was easier to reach than Branson, MO. This is a great place to GETAWAY and unplug which is exactly what our family wants to do. The community is gated and secure thus you can feel overall very safe. There are over 100 different sized lakes so fishing is abundant. They do have boats but only electric trolling motors which adds to the peace and quiet. Most own paddle boats, kayaks and canoes as well which also decrease the gas and noise pollution. If you know someone who owns a place definitely ask to borrow it for a weekend or just call Innsbrook and rent one. Some rent their Chalets on VRBO as well. Great place for weddings, or even corporate retreats.

She almost mowed us down not paying attention. If I had known this place gets over crowded by Friday I would have never booked here. People drive like nut jobs. All day on Saturday that's all I saw was non stop vehicle traffic by my cabin. Make sure you spray yourself with Tick spray before walking around. Our dogs got ticks on them and so did I. I have not had one since I was a kid. Thankfully, not the kind that carry Lyme disease. They kept the grounds looking great. It was easy to check in. It is a nice place, but I was not expecting so many people in that area. The cabins around us were booked or it were people coming in for the weekend and they were quiet and that was nice and adhered to the dark sky and noise ordinances. The not so good review is due to distracted drivers and speeding in the area. I did not like that. The associate came to the car, loaded up the items then began to walk away. sandwiches, fruit and cheese trays and lemonade were missing, the bulk of the meal for my meeting taking place in an hour. I asked the associate and she said "Don't worry, they were taken off your bill" but could not explain why there had been no communication about it. I checked my email and realized that at 10:30 am (30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time) I had received a confirmation and notice that these items were missing. It took 3 people running around to different Schnucks to purchase the items, which worked out great but cost much more than we had planned. I won't ever use them for catering my monthly meetings again.

Long story short... during the time I was there, there was only one full service check out line and it appeared that there were two or three Sam's employees working in this one line. Presumably the additional help was to make the line go faster and smoother. Instead of making more cashier's available, they directed customers to a new self checkout. I noticed there were at least 10 self check out lines in service. To summarize, I am required to pay a fee to shop at Sam's, proof of membership is required at check out and my purchases are inspected upon departure. Now it seems that I have to become my own cashier as well. Nothing against cashier's, but why am I expected to do their job? Would a cashier be expected to come to our places of employment and perform our tasks? This seems to be a trend within Sam's Club and their parent organization. Perhaps if I was offered a discount at checkout, I would be less bitter about the situation. Pay for membership, shop... the old way is provide proof of membership then get checked outed (remember, we don't get the luxury of bags for our purchases), then have our purchases inspected so that we can load them loosely in our cars. Now, the only service provided, is now expected to be performed by us. I have to ask, what is it that I'm paying for.
