At 41, I've started to think that advancements in eye correction technology are much more promising than what has been available in the past. Surgery can be a daunting experience, especially when it involves your eyes. However, I encourage you to try the "Evo ICL" it's safe and has improved since last year. One of the best parts about this procedure is that if you're not satisfied with the results, or if a better option comes along, you can reverse the treatment. So, there's really no major risk if it doesn't work out. I qualified for the "Evo" ICL, and while I had my doubts at first, I've learned that patience is key when adjusting to a new way of seeing. Along with eye drops to aid the healing process, I found that after about three months, my eyes began to coordinate and adjust. What was once a constant dependency on glasses is now improving, and I'm starting to feel more normal without them. It's funny; I still find myself touching my face to lift imaginary glasses that no longer exist--it's just a habit!
