Tonight at Planet Fitness Warrenton 11/12/25 I observed 4 teenagers in the free weight area next to me using weights they had barbells all over the floor and 4 of them had their shoes of and were in stocking feet right next to me as I worked out with 60 lb Dumbbells. I stopped my dumbbell workout went up to the counter and spoke with the young lady who was there were two employees behind the counter both glued to their cell phones one brunet female and one morbidly obese white male. I told them what was going on asked them to look up and when they did they saw the teenagers with no shoes on approx. 20 feet in front of them. I asked them to speak with the youths. The one employee brunette female came over told the teenagers to put their shoes on and that this was required. They complied but continued to glare at me for the next few minutes. Shortly thereafter the youths departed for the next machine not before they stopped by me while I was working out they told me to MIND my Own F %$#&*^ business and one kid in particular was profane and threatening me. They proceeded to walk away. I again got up went up to the counter and told them what had happened and I requested that they remove the one kid in particular before I was forced to exercise my rights and call the POLICE. They returned spoke with the kid in question and a Blonde smaller manager told him to depart I subsequently saw him leave the gym approx. 10 mins later. I continued my workout and was in the 30 minute area when I was approached by the same brunette female and male. She said that I was requested to leave the gym for the night? WTF I complain they remove the kid and now I'm the problem 30 minutes after he left. She said that this was at the direction of her manager. I complied but not before I cancelled my membership with PLANET FITNESS I have been a Black card member since this gym first opened in 2022. My take on this is a total leadership failure by PLANET FITNESS the Manager in question both and the Warrenton VA location and who ever she called should be FIRED!

I'm not a big fan of co-ed gyms, because working out with weights in front of dudes kind of weirds me out. Especially deadlifts. Oh, and when you stand there for 10 minutes awkwardly trying to figure out how to use the machines. Ugh. So, I figured, I'd hire a personal trainer to at least get me started in learning how to do things the right way. Of course the fear then was, what if he's some guy who preys on lonely middle aged housewives? Well, I figured I needed to do something, and would give it a try. I found Jaime (owner of TruFit) on Yelp and he offered 2 weeks free to give his services a try. Luckily, he wasn't a weirdo preying on lonely middle aged housewives (not that I'm lonely or a middle aged housewife, but its totally ok if you are). Anyway, we sat down the first session and talked about goals, and what I was looking to get out of this whole deal. I officially signed up for a 6 month package. Jaime gave me a heart rate monitor to track sessions, hooked me up with an online "Fit Log" so you can see your progress...and guiltily see clearly when you don't hit your activity goal for the week, and he does monthly progress sessions. I feel a lot stronger, and just overall more fit. Actually, I know I'm a lot stronger from the monthly progress sessions. Yes, I have a ways to go, but feel like the building blocks and knowledge are there to help me keep moving forward. Oh, and another plus, is that when you need equipment, he'll stop by Dick's and pick up what you need and just bill you. Its soooo helpful! Have you ever tried walking out of Dick's with two 30 lb dumbells and getting them to your car!?! Anyway, if you need some motivation and help exercising...or just taking yourself to the next level, give Jaime a try!

I'm replaceable :( Why I think I'm right: I'm still going to bring a present to my new neighbor, I'm still going to bring gifts to my loved ones, and I will always stand up against what's wrong. It's annoying that other people don't turn on their turn signals but I don't call the police on people that don't turn on their turn signals. But even that is not in correlation to what happened, and how the interpretation aligns with a psychopath/sociopath. I approached him the first time because he's flirting with me and I have things I have to do. The second time he did the same thing and I approached him and gave him my number with an inside joke. ---------------------- Story of a long-time member when changes in management occur correlated to recent elections and sociopath: The characterization of the situation as "paraphernalia" is inaccurate, and the disciplinary action taken against me was disproportionate given the context of the situation. To clarify the events The Context: Another member had repeatedly initiated unwanted attention and flirtation toward me while at the facility. I'm gay Action: In an attempt to establish boundaries and handle the situation lightheartedly, I left a novelty item (a duck) with my contact information on his vehicle. This is a harmless gesture I have historically used in social contexts and was not intended to harass. The Escalation: Despite his prior behavior toward me, the individual reported the interaction to management, framing it misleadingly. Unfortunately, management accepted this narrative without considering the full history of mutual engagement, including his ongoing approach behavior toward me. As a dedicated member of this community balancing graduate school, family responsibilities, and my professional work supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, I take gym rules and etiquette seriously. I have always conducted myself respectfully on the premises. I mean if a person of color is married to a white person and the person of color gets beat up is it still about how he looks like your brother? Did the gym manager tell a girl to reply so it would look the male is aggressive towards a female? Anyways someone should really open up another gym in the Warrenton municipality area: https://wolfgyms.com/ I'm too broke with $117,000 in student loans.

This review is long overdue, because I've been working out with Bobby since late July, and by…read moremid-September, I've gained 2.2 pounds of muscle, decreased my body fat by 1.3%, and increased my basal metabolic rate. These may not sound a lot, but I was already lean (female, 20.9% body fat) and I'm very petite, so even 0.5 pound of muscle gain isn't easy for me, let alone in such a short time. In fact, Bobby may be the first trainer who doesn't want me to get leaner but to gain some weight to be healthier... and because of that, I trust that he has my best interest in heart. These stats show the results - which is why we seek dedicated personal trainers in the first place, but what also matters to me is that Bobby truly cares about my health, my athletic performance, more than looking good. I also really enjoy working out with Bobby in Cygma because I feel like an elite athlete here. First of all, Bobby has tons of fun and effective workouts. He uses a combination of weights, circuits, cardio, and equipment. Training with Bobby is never boring or static. Second, Cygma also has great equipment and a very athletic vibe. It's definitely not a regular gym. I've had trainer in the past and I still see dozens of trainers in my apartment's gym. Bobby is at an entirely different level with his strategies, movement, and tools. I joke that the other trainers and gyms are very "vanilla" whereas Bobby/Cygma is like "triple-espresso double-chocolate with whatever toppings that suit your body." Though Bobby challenges me quite a bit, he also takes into consideration my injuries, body conditions, past hormonal issues, and adjusts the training, which I always appreciate. I'm also amazed at the depth and breadth of nutrition knowledge that Bobby possesses. Being an avid reader of all sorts of nutrition tips and news, I thought I'd known enough and didn't initially sign up for Bobby's nutrition training; however, during one month in which I injured my shoulder and had some hormonal issues coming back, Bobby sat me down and calculated the macros that I should be eating - he also imparted important stress management skills, which turned out to be key to improving my overall health and fitness. Best of all, Bobby gave me all the knowledge without extra charge and he asked me not to obsess. Now, I really enjoy chatting with Bobby about nutrition, destressing, sleep, fitness, etc., while training. One of Bobby's biggest strengths (there are many) is that he's very articulate, and since he knows a lot and is very logical, he's good at looking at things from multiple perspectives and breaking down data and information in easy-to-digest bits and pieces, which I always appreciate. Bobby's passion for nutrition, fitness, and service is also very contagious. Finally, I really appreciate that Bobby respects where I am - I only train with Bobby once per week due to my current budget and super busy work and lifestyle, but Bobby said he'd make sure that I get the value out of this one hour each week, which is true. Though eventually I hope to train a bit more with Bobby, currently, I feel more motivated and effective even in my own sessions without Bobby. He taught me so much since the beginning. I cannot recommend Bobby enough. If you are serious about your health and your physique, and you want to have fun while seeing results, and you want to feel like an elite athlete with reasonable payment, definitely try Bobby and Cygma!
