I had even had to stop playing golf and due to the pain I was experiencing, I had to take painkillers on a daily basis. After receiving physical therapy at Gainesville PT for several weeks, I am now free of pain and able to do the many things I could not do before. I am even playing golf every week!! The physical therapy I received was not only of the highest caliber, to the point that my back pain is totally gone, but they also taught me good body mechanics and exercises so I will be able to prevent any back problems in the future. When I first went to Gainesville Physical Therapy I could hardly walk and was in constant pain. I had been diagnosed with several herniated disks, spinal stenosis and severe disk degeneration. I was on pain medication and also had to have shots for the pain. I was evaluated by one of their PT doctors and was started right away on a specific plan of exercises, manual therapy, dry needling, etc. Before long, I had greatly improved, had stopped taking pain medication and no longer needed shots for the pain. Today I can say that I am pain free and am able to go to the gym, go hiking, and have an active social life. I will forever be grateful to Gainesville PT and their wonderful staff for giving me back my life. By the way, the place is beautifully decorated and very clean. I have been to several Physical Therapy Clinics and finally found an excellent one! The staff is very knowledgeable, supportive and kind, with only one goal in mind: help the patient heal and recuperate from whatever problem he or she has. I am 83 years old and have lumbar stenosis, degenerative disks and arthritis, and was very limited in what I could do and always in pain. After being treated at Gainesville Physical Therapy, I can now have an active social life, exercise every day at the gym and have no need at all of pain medications. Excellent Physical Therapy. All of the therapists are very friendly and knowledgeable.I came to them with significant tendon and hamstring pain in my left leg On my first visit Christine diagnosed my problem and gave me a program of stretching that really worked. After about 7 treatments I am back playing tennis again. My friends on the tennis court told me that I am moving like a 20 year old (I am 67). I was told by Christine to continue stretching and even after stopping treatment I am almost pain free and able to play tennis 3 to 4 times per week. Highly recommended. read more

I have been to a few physical therapists around the area. But I was really pleased with this place. Generally most appointments last 1/2 to 1 hour, 15-30 minutes of it in the waiting room. They do ice /heat, exercise and treatment then you are out. I was expecting the same thing here. I was surprised how much detail and time was spent on my injury. My recovery time was faster then I expected. I was treated for this injury before and was not as well taken care of.
