I received more hand-on attention at Dynamics than I've ever received before. Lots of places show you exercises and let you go thru the process pretty much on your own. Not here. The patient is the focus. They respect patient privacy (intake interview in a closed room rather than out in the treatment area). Good adherence to covid 19 guidelines. This is a small facility but it was not over scheduled and I was never near another patient. Karen and Megan are consistently pleasant, skilled and on-task. I've been to local PT practices where the therapists spent more time flirting and talking about their weekends than with the patients. One facility allowed an employer's toddler to run around the treatment area and did intake interviews surrounded by other patients. None of that nonsense here. If I need physical therapy in the future I will be happy to return to Dynamics in Haymarket.

My Orthopedic Surgeon gave me an order for PT post-surgery. So I selected the "Select Physical…read moreTherapy" location in Gainesville, VA. Staff was very good. Lynda conducted my entry and exit assessments - and Angel was my physical therapist each time I came in. Each session was an hour. Angel was great and pushed me forward with good humor and encouragement. When you arrive - you'll notice a white board on the door into the PT area with a weekly poll - and the Trivia question of the week. Fun! I will ding them on their waiting area - there are only 4 chairs for those waiting to sit in. On two occasions - there were not enough chairs and folks had to stand. I gave my seat during on one day to an elderly man who was waiting to be called for his appointment. It can also get a little stuffy in the PT area on hot days. Finally, the exhaust fan in one of the restrooms sounds like an old school propellor plane is about to take off. A little maintenance is needed here - time for a replacement exhaust fan! I'd come back here again if I needed more PT! #SelectPhysicalTherapy
