I unfortunately have had several surgeries and I was so fortunate to have found Elite Sports…read moreMedicine. I have been with several PT groups before them and I felt the care was cookie cutter. Knee injury? here are the set of exercises other PT groups will prescribe not targeting the exercises to how you are doing and your specific weaknesses. At Elite they treat each person like an individual and tailor your treatment to how you are responding and they always ask what is aggravating you on that particular day. Often you may come on with a specific pain like your back and they will recognize that it's actually your hip that is causing your back pain and you leave feeling better. They all work as a team so if you are with Anna one day and the next time Jeff you aren't starting over because their care overlaps and the communication between them has occurred before you even get there. I can't say enough, how impressed I have been with their knowledge base and caring for each patients recovery and success. I noticed the review from Dawn and she can't be more off base and I'm sorry she gave them a low star review because they literally have helped me get my life back after numerous surgeries. It is always a positive, pleasant place to go where everyone knows who you are and acknowledges you immediately. One of the reasons I chose them was they are privately owned so you don't become a number in the corporate machine mentality where they don't really care about your recovery or get to know who you are. You can't go wrong with Elite Sports Medicine and physical therapy. I would like to stop needing them but as long as I do I'm glad I have them as part of my care team.

They take X-rays of my hip bc that's what I moved my appointment up for-my hip. He just knows it my back though. Sigh. Here I am, on meds: can't work, can't drive for a month while I wait for this appointment. Here's the timeline readers: End of Feb first appointment, MRI March 2nd. Follow up March 7th. Mind you, still not working, not driving on meds. Follow up for the March 24. Did you know they get the results in like an hour? I know now bc I called to get them for my March 21 at a different office. Also, decide if that parking lot is one way. Too small, too round, and too many people dropping off patients. I would absolutely ask yourself how important your time is and don't waste it here. The care level here is similar to most of warrenton: mediocre with a fresh coat of paint.

Jee evaluated my needs and progress, provided excellent routines, and most important, provided clear and specific homework assignments. Dr Highfill was great . However the billing dept is absolutely horrible…read more I presented two insurances when I arrived and they took both and scanned them into the system. I came back for a follow up and told them I had a bill for a co-pay sent to my house . They apologized and said that they didn't have the second insurance on their file so I figured it was an innocent mistake.. I gave them the insurance again and they scanned it in a second time. News to me a month later I get another bill saying that I still owe a $50 co-pay. I called them back and they had both insurances on file. However, the billing department in Florida did not have a copy of the second insurance so they forwarded it to them ... or so I was told. Next thing you know I'm getting late payments on file called no less than three times and was assured that it would be taken care of. I continue to get late payments in the mail . So I took off a day of work and physically went down to Ortho Virginia and to show them both of my insurances physically in person and told them for the sixth time that I continue to get bills in the mail . They assured me they would take care of it... I guess they never took care of it. Fast forward to today.... I get a collection agency in the mail for a bill of $50. I went online and paid it and I'm done with these folks. Their billing department will be the demise of this organization.

Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.
