Balance currently has 4 DPT (doctor of physical therapy) and 5 PTA (physical therapy assistant). They are all great and work together as a team. Because they have so many physical therapists (and constantly hiring), they can see a patient multiple times a week. They see all ages of patients. Knee injury? here are the set of exercises other PT groups will prescribe not targeting the exercises to how you are doing and your specific weaknesses. At Elite they treat each person like an individual and tailor your treatment to how you are responding and they always ask what is aggravating you on that particular day. Often you may come on with a specific pain like your back and they will recognize that it's actually your hip that is causing your back pain and you leave feeling better. They all work as a team so if you are with Anna one day and the next time Jeff you aren't starting over because their care overlaps and the communication between them has occurred before you even get there. I can't say enough, how impressed I have been with their knowledge base and caring for each patients recovery and success. I noticed the review from Dawn and she can't be more off base and I'm sorry she gave them a low star review because they literally have helped me get my life back after numerous surgeries. Frank's provided me tremendous pain reduction over the past 8 years. He is genuine and so nice, and can show you exactly what's happening to cause your pain. Unlike my orthopedic surgeons, he provides immediate pain relief and improved mobility without medication. Three months ago I suffered whiplash after being rear-ended at a stop light. My already compromised neck seized up and I couldn't turn my head to the right, and I was suffering from constant headaches. After a few treatments, my neck mobility is better, and my headaches are much less severe and less frequent. He has a rare skill, and I know people travel hundreds of miles to seek treatment from him, yet he's always able to fit me into his schedule. I'm so grateful that such a skilled practitioner is close by!

I received more hand-on attention at Dynamics than I've ever received before. Lots of places show you exercises and let you go thru the process pretty much on your own. Not here. The patient is the focus. They respect patient privacy (intake interview in a closed room rather than out in the treatment area). Good adherence to covid 19 guidelines. This is a small facility but it was not over scheduled and I was never near another patient. Karen and Megan are consistently pleasant, skilled and on-task. I've been to local PT practices where the therapists spent more time flirting and talking about their weekends than with the patients. One facility allowed an employer's toddler to run around the treatment area and did intake interviews surrounded by other patients. None of that nonsense here. If I need physical therapy in the future I will be happy to return to Dynamics in Haymarket.
