It comes with the lifetime clog warrantee but I figured nowadays it was just marketing. Here we are in 2025, after 18 years, my gutter finally had a clog. I reported the problem to Innovative and they had an inspector out within a week and repair crew the following week. All repaired, no paperwork, no fees, just friendly crew doing the work and backing the product. Totally impressed that they stand behind their product sale from 18 years ago. read more

We are extremely pleased with Innovative Home Concepts, and especially Andres, who presented us viable options. He never pushed or over-sold, and in fact he made useful suggestions that helped keep our costs manageable. Andre and Ryleigh kept us informed throughout. Ryleigh even stopped by on a Saturday morning to check on the work. Several crews worked quickly to completely replace all our siding and gutters, along with some additional necessary repairs, and all just before the weather turned too cold. This was one of the worst experiences we have had. Andres came to our house and showed us the siding etc. We were kind of on the fence and he put a paper down that said if we decided that same day we would get 5% off. I told him we had another quote that we were looking at and he flipped the paper over and said we have a price match guarantee. I showed him the quote we had and he agreed it was the same materials etc. He hee hawed around for a bit and then said they could do it. I asked if he wanted me to print the quote I had and he said no. He seen it. That's good enough. We signed the paperwork and he wasn't happy about having to price match and give us the 5% for deciding the same day. He told us we could keep the aluminum siding and to have a trailer ready and they would just put the siding on the trailer when they did the tear off at no charge. Tear off is included in the price and they could just put it on the trailer. I wrote the check for the downpayment. A few days later the project manager (?) came out and said no. They would charge us $2500 for us to keep the siding. Eyebrows were raised at that point. Then it was they didn't have the trim and you can't get the L trim in the same color as the siding so it's either white or brown. Then the company called and said they weren't happy about having to do the siding job because they wouldn't make any money on it. Then they wanted a copy of the quote. Andres told us they didn't want to do the job. After all of the crap and the runaround we finally said we're done. We can't trust this company to do the siding job that they said they could do for the price they said they would do it at and do a good job. We called and canceled the job and got our money back. If you want someone who can do what they say they can, don't walk away from this company..... RUN! read more

I called Innovative after a bad wind/hail storm to come out and inspect my roof free of charge. After damage was brought to my attention, they did absolutely EVERYTHING, from dealing with my insurance, having a representative on site when insurance company did their inspection, and even completed ALL the repairs within 2 weeks time. After a second ice storm, I called them back to inspect my room. They replaced shingles that were still under warranty the very next day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! read more

This goes back 3 years, but I said to myself that I would eventually write a review because I never forget poor customer service. We had our roof, gutters, and siding replaced over the course of 2 or three years. We went with the best siding available (hardie cement board). We went with this company because the salesman, John Farenzena, was great and explained everything and was not pushy. He made sure the process was smooth and the crew he had come out did a fantastic job. My wife and I even did a video for them explaining how happy we were and recommending them to others. It wasn't until the next spring/summer that my wife noticed water stains on the ceiling in our living room. I checked and I found the water stains went up and down from room to room along the front of our house. I come to find out that the attic was not ventilating properly. Since Innovative did the roof I called them. This is where everything went to crap. Apparently, John Feranzena left Innovative along with the crew who worked on my home. The guy that they sent out to look at the stains and the attic, Ron, was nice enough, but it became clear he did not know what he was doing. After he came out with someone to inspect the attic, they tried saying it was the ventilation and they could fix it, but it would cost me. Well, I politely explained to them they were the ones who did the work on the roof and replaced the roof, facia, etc. and so they were responsible for checking to make sure the attic was well ventilated prior to the work. He disagreed and Innovative pushed back until I asked for the company that handles their license because I would submit a claim against said license. Now, they ended up coming out and fixing it at no charge. They ended up cutting out all the soffits and putting in vents in ever other spacing at my request. They put the metal soffits back up and we have not had a problem since. I also referred Innovative to one of my neighbors right after the original work was done because they really liked the way our home turned out. She ended up having a horrible experience. It took forever to get the work done because they ran out of material in the middle of the job! I felt so bad for her and her husband. This was after John Feranzena and the work crew left. Now, as for the water stains, they wanted me to get three quotes which I did. After that they said they would come out and do the mold remediation and repaint the walls. After several emails and phone calls I just got fed up with it and just let it go because they kept saying they'd be out and then I would never hear from them. I am a business owner and have never treated any one of my customer this way. Customer service is the biggest thing a company can offer on top of top quality work. Innovative has lost both. I'm not surprised because I heard the most popular phrase the owner of Innovative Home Concepts, Rhett, likes to say is "It's not my house." read more

Did my roof all wrong. Didn't do the install correctly, and because of them doing poor work, we are having huge problems with mold, and leaking issues in our attic. They won't take ownership and fix their mistakes. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

I had a great experience with Innovative. We had a different company take a look at hail damage to our siding but they didn't want to bother with it as they thought the insurance claim would be denied (not enough damage). Innovative successfully fought with our insurance company and got it approved. The siding crew was friendly and the house looks great. I was prompted to write this review as we had some minor damage due to wind a few years later. I contacted Innovative to see about fixing it and they were quick to respond, schedule a crew to come out, and get things fixed. Happy to find a company that stands behind their work. read more

I definitely recommend this company for roofing. I guess my house had hail damage. And I say I guess because I had no idea. I just thought my roof was in sad shape and I knew a few pieces had blow off. One night I was in my garage when Rich from Innovative stopped by and told me he could get me a new roof for cheap. I didn't believe him and even bet him a six pack that he couldn't. Sure as sh**, he did it by making a claim on my homeowners insurance. So I got a new 14k roof for a $1000 deductible and some beers. I'll take that deal every day of the week. The roofers from Innovative did a great job on my roof, it looks great and no leaks... so far. read more

Do not use this company. My husband has left a review going in more detail, along with pictures. It seems as his review was deleted. I have added the pictures of just some of the problems that we have with what they claim is quality work. This company uses sub contractors that know nothing about siding a house. The customer service at this company is horrible. There is no quality control, according to them this is quality work. They don't even deserve one star. This company is nothing but full of relatives that work with each other. No ones here to help the customer. Run, run fast. Also check out the horrible reviews on the Better Business Bureau and google before using this company. We're sorry we didn't do more research before calling this company. My project with Innovative was a mixed bag. The scope of my project was for 2 sliding glass doors. The sales team was always responsive and accommodated the changing requirements very well. The installation team on the other hand was occasionally responsive and consistently underperformed. The doors look and operate great now. The 5 issues reported by ME (and NOT the installer) at installation time were at rejected by the operations manager. These were deemed "warranty" issues. When the Marvin tech arrived to correct all 5 "warranty" issues, he confirmed that all of these were indeed "installation" issues. In an hour he corrected issues I'd been dealing with for 2 months. Bottom line? If you want to constantly check their work and follow up on issues, this is the company for you. read more

My husband and I met with Rich and his girlfriend from this company at local home show. Had them come out to provide a quote for a new roof. We had had some damage, and the roof was over 20 years old, so needed to be replaced. Everything went smoothly with the quote process, including going through our insurance. Rich Cameron was very helpful. The unfortunate part, was that their quote was over $10,000 more than what we received from our insurance company to replace our roof and garage repairs. Based on that and the fact that we needed to have other work done in our home, we could not afford their quote. We waited a few months, in hopes that we could save up the difference, but with a 20+ year old "new" house, you can expect additional surprise expenses. There were follow up calls, and I informed them that we just didn't have the money at the time. We eventually were able to come up with almost half of the difference, so we decided to get additional quotes from other companies in hopes of a lower price. We were able to find a company significantly cheaper, providing additional options, so went with them. Before the work started, I guess Rich was in the neighborhood, and saw the other company's sign on our lawn, with roof supplies in the driveway. He decided to come to our door, and proceed to tell me what type of person my husband and I were for having him come out and provide a quote, and then not go with them. I told him, that's really great customer service, to come to my door in this manner. First of all, the quote was free, in anticipation of the customer working with you. Secondly, we never signed a contract, and third, I continuously informed them that we could not afford what they were asking. Rich then tells me that I should have called him and told him, and maybe he could have worked something out. If that was the case, when I received the phone calls and explained that we could not afford the asking price, that would be the time to "work something out." He went on to use an explicative, and state how he had lost his faith in humanity. He stormed back to his car stating how this was bullish*t and then my phone rang. He was calling trying to reach my husband, probably to go off on him too. In the end, I am glad that we didn't go with this company. I read the reviews, but wanted to give them a chance, which is why we had them give us a quote in the first place. If you choose to work with this company, my only suggestion, is don't change your mind, because you may get an angry visit from them as well. read more

Without a doubt one of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. We hired Innovative Home Concepts to replace our entire roof, which was damaged due to a hail storm. Initially, the process went smoothly. However, when construction began it became a nightmare. When the job was roughly half way done, my husband decided he would go on to the roof to check the progress. On the roof he found the laborers covering up plywood that was rotting and clearly needed to be replaced, he instructed them to do so and they did without struggle. He was also shocked to see the workers' marijuana pipes lined up on my young son's window sill, they had been smoking through the entire job. We chose to let that slide because we simply just wanted the job finished. Upon completion of the job, we were unsure of the quality of the craftsmanship. My husband sent the salesmen a text regarding a large piece of window trim that had been broken during construction and also stated that we were worried about the window possibly leaking. The salesmen kept putting off the subject and at one point sent a text that literally said "not my problem. At this point we decided it would be beneficial to have an experienced roofer take a look and offer their opinion. Several areas were clearly not up to par, however the largest "mistake" was they seemed to have "forgotten" the wind and water shield on a large portion of our roof! We immediately called the salesmen that we had dealt with. About a week later he came out with a rude, defensive attitude. He noticed several "cuts" in the shingles and blamed our painter because he "knew his guys wouldn't do that". Our painter and long time friend is the most meticulous, careful person you'd ever meet. He eventually had to eat his words when he confirmed that they did in fact "forget" the wind and water shield layer. He assured us that the issue would be resolved right away and they would have to proceed with a tear off and install the roofing components correctly. We've now been waiting weeks for the "mistake" to be corrected with no word from the company. We completely understand mistakes, but not making the correction of mistakes a priority is simply unacceptable. read more

Also had a bad experience with this company. We hired them to complete a roof job in September 2018, they hired a subcontractor that failed final inspection. Damaged our house and property during the process. Innovation still wanted the same poor subcontractor to come out for the 5th time to fix the leaks, gapping issue, ridge issues and popping singles. Innovation said they would address our issues. I had other roofing companies to come out to review Innovations subcontractors work and I now have quotes as everyone agreed the roof needs to be replaced. Now Innovation sent me their lawyers name !! I support two disable people with one income.. THANK YOU innovation, I guess my family doesn't need to eat so I can hire a lawyer.. so I can get my roof fixed. read more

Innovative Home Concepts is a solid local roofing company. My home was damaged by hail last spring. I found Innovative on the internet by searching Crystal Lake Roofers. They looked pretty good online so I had them come out. When it was all said and done, my insurance company paid for me to get a new roof and Innovative installed it. The roof looks great and no leaks! One issue that kept them from a 5 star review was their scheduling. My installation was supposed to start on a Tuesday but had to be pushed back 2 days because they had to finish some other roof. In the grand scheme of things not a big deal. The roof got done and I am happy. I would recommend Innovative for roofing. They did a nice job on my house and they are really seem to know how to work with insurance companies. read more

If it were possible to give negative stars I would. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Innovative Home Concepts. The after install service is some of the worst I have experienced. I felt as if I was treated very poorly, especially for being a female as well. Lots of run around until my boyfriend called. Keep in mind he was on deployment with the military when he called so it was not easy for him to call. That should give you a perspective of the level of frustration I was feeling during this process that I had to resort to him calling to get a response. Only after that phone call do I get a response. I really wish I could recommend them, but I can't. In my opinion, the cost savings does not outweigh the struggle I had afterwards. I would have been better off spending a little more money and going with a bigger name company. read more

just saw the add in the N.W. Herald about Innovative Home Comcept will stop ice from forming. Lies, ever since i got these gutter i have had supper ice cycle problem.Causing roof damage. every year i go through the same thing. Call and they said there nothing they can do so i read my lifetime warranted and it states "not warranted against ice cycles." Im not the only people that this happened to. Now I can't get you here to live up to the guarantee. JR keeps telling me he will get me on the service list. "I'll call you next week before we come out." "I'll call you tomorrow." I had several very large windows replaced in my home by IHC. The salesperson knew his product line, answered all my questions without any pressure or sales gimmicks. The crew that installed the windows were more than efficient and did a beautiful job installing and cleaning up. I hired Innovative Home Concepts to install new windows in my house. I used their financing company because they had a good deal to finance over 10 years. Once the work was finished, the financing company sent me all of the information to accept the work, the terms, and give them the OK to pay Innovative Home Concepts, which I did. A few weeks later, I got an email from Innovative that the loan approval had expired and that if I needed to either re-apply for the loan or call them with a credit card to pay for the windows. I looked back through my account with the finance company and found that Innovative had not accepted their end of the loan and so it was never paid out. I told Innovative this, and asked that they send me instructions on how to reapply for the loan. Three weeks went by and I didn't receive anything. Finally I got another email from Innovative threatening to put a lien on my house for non-payment. I replied and explained what was going on, and they finally told me how to reapply for the loan. I called the finance company back, and they told me that a new application would be a new hard inquiry on my credit, which would lower my credit score. I reached back out to Innovative to let them know that, since it was their mistake, I didn't think that it was fair that I took the hit on my credit, and I offered to pay Innovative directly the same amount that I would have been paying the finance company. I was then told by the salesperson that I was "refusing to pay" (when they were literally responding to my email offering to pay) and that my concerns about my credit score being lowered were unreasonable. I was told that if I did not either reapply for the loan and take the credit hit or call them immediately with a credit card to pay the balance, that I would force them to put a lien on my house, that I would be responsible for all of their legal fees, and that if I did not pay it would force the sale of my home. I told the salesperson that I would like to speak with the owner prior to making a decsion on how to proceed, and within an hour I had brand new loan documents in my inbox. I'm not sure if it's the company as a whole or just the one salesperson who is very shady and unwilling to accept the consequences of their mix-up, but this was a terrible experience, and I urge anyone looking for work on their home to keep looking. read more

I am so not happy! I bought a large window (almost a $1400 window) less then 9 months age. I was told that it comes with a 50year warranty (even if damaged from my dogs). My little dog jumped and knocked the screen out of the gasket, I called last Tuesday and was told that they would contact the manufacturer and sales rep then call me back. Today is the following Wednesday....still no phone call!! I called them and Jane made up one excuse after another as to way I have not been called back and she still could not give me an answer other then she will have the GM call me. I have 7 more windows to replace, YOU CAN BET I WILL NOT HAVE THIS COMPANY DO IT!!! I will also be contacting the BBB. As an update, in July of 2014, I had Danny's Remodeling do my roof, siding and 7 additional windows (amazing work I might add). They had to fix gaps that Innovative Home Concepts left between the window and frame work. They also had to fix the flashing around the window because Innovative did not do it properly! read more

Sad to see that you only love hearing from happy customers, but we are very unhappy customers. We signed a pricey contract with your company SEVEN (7!!!) WEEKS ago. The first issue began when it took TWO (2!!) FULL WEEKS for your manager to show up and do the final measurements. Not to mention WE had to call YOU every time to ask if he had even showed up yet to complete the job, in spite of being told each time we called that YOU would be "happy" to keep communication open and let us know what was happening. NOPE - Not a single call from you, no updates, no information unless WE called YOU. So there were TWO (2!!) FULL WEEKS OF OUR TIME WASTED. We have now been given THREE(3!!) different dates your company was to show up with the materials to complete the job. Not only have you NOT shown up for any of the 3 dates given, but for 2 of those delays NOBODY from your company bothered to even call to let us know what was happening. We had to call YOU!!!! And here today was the THIRD DATE we have been given by your company...and the THIRD TIME that WE had to call YOU to ask where are the materials, where are the workers who are supposed to be here completing the job??!!! I cannot even begin to imagine how you can continue to treat customers this way. We are disgusted at how quickly you were calling us when you wanted a signed contract...but since then -- NO communication; Dates promised and nothing done...And here we are after SEVEN WEEKS! I would say we are disgusted, but that isn't even strong enough to describe how utterly fed up we are at being treated this way. What do we have to do, who do we have to contact to get your company to honor a SIGNED CONTRACT???!!!! How did you manage to get a Best of the Fox when you do not even honor a contract or multiple dates for delivery and job completion?! read more

It has now been 4 years with the new gutters. I am still amazed how fantastic they work. I went from cleaning out my gutters many times per year because of an abundance of pine trees to not having done it since. They still look great. I have been through some very heavy storms and have been in awe of how well they work during the heavy downpours. I have the perfect window because of the tri-level to witness the rain moving from the roof to the gutter. I have had no issues that needed to be resolved since installation. The staff was professional and they did a great job cleaning up and protecting the house and landscaping during installation. read more

Rep would not quote a price or measure for quote without knowing what the insurance company was going to pay for needed repairs. Then when I expressed interest in price for different product for siding said he'd work with the insurance company to be sure I'd get approved for additional money needed for huge upgrade. Once again, with NO quote or knowing what my budget was. When I asked again about a quote he actually said that he "got" why I wouldn't show him the insurance payment, so I could KEEP any money not used for repairs. (basically accusing me of fraud) After I knew there was no possible way I'd work with this unethical company I showed the insurance info, which he quickly started to pick apart. I can see how elderly or inexperienced people get sucked into using companies like this, they promise the world, will take care of everything including "working" with your insurance company to get every nickel possible from them. read more

I called multiple companies in the last week because I had water coming into the corner of my kitchen under a flat portion of my roof. I got quotes from 3 contractors before using JR at Innovative Home Concepts. The section of roof in question is about 8'x15'. The recommendations were that I needed to replace the entire section of roof and the prices ranged from $3000-$5000. Totally outrageous! JR from Innovative came out the same afternoon I called. He recommended that we take a step by step approach and started by rerouting a section of gutter. He had to come out the next day and repitch another section and found that that section was in need of replacement. He was honest, personable and followed up with me multiple times. My worst case scenario would have cost half of the lowest quote I received from another contractor. By doing it step by step he saved me over $1000. I am very impressed with his integrity and followup. I would highly recommend calling this company! read more

Production manager called and scheduled the job as they said he would and worked with my busy schedule and other work I was having done at the house. This is an update to my August, 2013 review: The good news is we had no problems with leaves blocking the gutters this fall. Yea! The bad news is now that winter is upon us we have a severe icicle formation problem. There are icicles forming virtually all along our new gutters, most in places we never had them before. Most concerning are the ones that formed over our front door area and drip onto the walk. We keep knocking them down and they just reform, causing a very slippery area by the door. Have spoken to Innovative Home Concepts and they said yes this can happen especially with the weather conditions we have had and is so noted on the contract (which it is). But we had mentioned to the salesman our past, limited, problems and he indicated it would be no worse and maybe better. It is far worse and in areas we never had icicles before, and to the point we feel we will need to have the front gutters removed and replaced with standard ones. I think what is happening is that as the snow on the roof melts the water runs on to the cold aluminum Gutter Shutter cap and refreezes thus causing the icicles to form. They then drip over the front edge of the system instead of the water going into the gutter. This must be a known problem as after we signed the contract one of the other companies we were considering called us, and when I told him who we signed with he said too bad, we will have an ice damming problem. I thought it was sour grapes, but I guess not. read more

Made an appointment with Salesman Kyle Berger for a quote to install two new composite decks. Waited three weeks for my quote. Kyle Berger kept telling me he had to source out different suppliers and meet with his carpenter to go over final numbers. Ultimately he was a no show with the bid. In the interim I removed my two old decks thinking I would shortly have the bid and Innovative Home Concepts could install the new decks. Called up Rhett who is President of Innovative Home Concepts to make him aware of the problem with his Saleman. He laughed and said: " You know Kyle, he is young and overly enthusiastic, probably could not get the two seasoned deck estinators to cooperate with him". He said he would look into the problem and call me back. As of todays date have not heard from the company. Am in the process of hiring a new Deck Builder,however, they are very busy and I will have to wait one month for construction to begin. Stay away from this compnay. Very unprofessional and no real leadership. read more
