They didn't disclose this to us when they took our money. We paid for this security system in full up front which was a mistake. We hired Smart Tech Security to install a security system/surveillance cameras. The install start date was 5/8/23 and scheduled to take 6 hrs. The actual time to install cameras and equipment was 3 business days. Two of the four security cameras installed are not working, in addition, there are still holes that need to be patched, areas that need caulking and paint touch up. We have been reaching out to Nick Vara/Owner of Smart Tech Security for 5 weeks at the phone number provided to us by Smart Tech Security. Each time we call, it gets routed to a 3rd party/Ruby Receptionist, they put us on hold, they try to call Nick, and they come back and tell us repeatedly that Nick is not available but they will get a message to him and that Nick will call us back. They log the calls in their system. We have not received a callback from Nick to date. (aka Nicolas John Vara).

With that being addressed, I wish to blue-pencil my initial review. Kevin, the proprietor, reached out to me with assurance that he was still a viable entity. Although, I waited until recently, KTAG Alarms was prominent on my project list. There are too many words in the dictionary that reflect Kevin's work ethic, but if I may share a few, they are conscientious, meticulous, phenomenal, and reliable. After an initial consultation where Kevin came out to assess my needs, we agreed on a plan and a time to execute it. Due to my lifestyle, I am not easily accessible, but Kevin made sure to work around my schedule. My project was ripe with challenges, and where many may have given up in defeat, Kevin soldiered on...his motto being: "I promised you a service and I will deliver." Kevin worked tirelessly to ensure that I received his 'white glove' service. While there were some unseen costs outside of the agreed budget, Kevin footed those himself because he honors his commitment and his word is rock solid. Punctuality is his forte...when Kevin says he will be there at a certain time...he shows up 10 minutes early to fulfill his promise. In essence, Kevin is the type of individual you would want to hire for all of your projects for an iron-clad result. So, if you are on the market for an economical approach to securing your property and valuables, do not hesitate when considering KTAG Alarms. It should be at the forefront of your choices for a top-shelf 'customer service' experience.
