An appointment was scheduled for me and on the Sunday of my appointment Colleen greeter us and explained everything in great detail to us. You have to shower and wash your hair prior to getting in the tank and you have the option of going in your swimsuit or birthday suit, the choice is yours. You have a private room with a shower stall and a float pod. They provide the shampoo, conditioner (use after you get out the pod), ear plugs, towels and floatation devices for you to use in the pod. Now once in the pod, that's when it became tricky for me...I couldn't get myself in a comfortable position for the longest. Most people lay on their back and are comfortable that way with a floaty behind their head. Me on the other hand found my comfortable position to be on my stomach, resting my chin on a floaty with my arms extended 2 fingers locked. This was the best for me!! While trying to figure out my comfort position, I did begin to move, extend, and stretch the part of my body that I was having discomfort in and since then that part of my body has been feeling really well. I'm able to move it and everything with it being stiff and very painful before. I'd definitely go back. Colleen was helpful and answered all questions that I had. The one thing that I didn't like was the slimy feeling your skin has when you're in the float. Also, make sure you bring your own soap and things and shower VERY WELL when done so as not to bring salt with you.

My first massage was ok, solid but nothing that would have pushed me to return. She was kind, listened to my concerns, but I need very specific type of massage and therapy for my needs. She absolutely tried her best, it just wasn't up to par for me. My second massage with cupping was much better, from the owner Sara! Her technique was very good, and what I'm usually looking for. She did a great job warming up my body, slowly increasing mobility and stretching certain areas, and then isolated certain muscles and kneaded a lot of my tension out in the areas I expressed to her. I'm not sure if cupping actually does anything, feels more like a pseudoscience to me. But based on my experience, I would absolutely return for a massage with Sara. The space is absolutely beautiful as well, see pictures. I would recommend this business based on my experiences! I have not attended yoga or their sauna yet, so cannot comment on that.

My favorite routine is to come at night, float for an hour, then use that massage chairs after. This allows me to unwind from any stress I had during the day and to sleep like a baby as soon as I get home. Not only does my body feel relaxed from the weightlessness of floating in water that is saturated with 1000 pounds of epsom salt, but my mind also gets a chance to rejuvenate in the relaxing, sensory-controlled environment inside the float room. I highly recommend floating to anyone who is looking for a unique way to relax or to help relieve back/joint/muscle pain. The facility is very modern, accessible, and always pristine. The staff is equally as great: everyone is friendly, informative, attentive, and they really help you to relax. I decided to try colonics because I was getting ready to go on a cruise. I purchased a 3pack. I was shocked at how much waste I had in me. It took all 3 for me to feel "emptied out". I actually ended up purchasing a couple more packages and continued to do them up until I left for my cruise and then as soon as I came back did some more because I had eaten so much junk on the cruise!
