I'm a little late in doing this review when I went this past Sunday, but it's better late than never. I must admit, I really didn't like how I was first greeted by the reception lady, and how everything seemed so disoriented. It was my first time so of course I had to sign a waiver. This place isn't as spacious as I thought it was so I felt crammed up in there. I started to read the waiver and started to initial and sign, and the reception lady looked at me with frustration, and voiced to me if I could move away from her area that she needs to use apparently. I didn't like how she moved her arms like crazy waving them as if I didn't understand her verbally telling me already. So I went ahead and moved either way. However, my friend who went with me also had to sign the waiver and she actually stood at the same spot in the same space this "WOMAN" asked me to move away from. I thought to myself "is this woman crazy" either way I decided not to make it a big deal; I was there to have a great time. I made my way to the dance floor and there was only like two long benches along the wall "if I remember correctly". All the beautiful women started prepping up doing their stretches and things to get ready for the dance class. I stood the whole time, but I'm ok with standing if I don't have 5 inch heels on of course. After a while, everything started getting smoother and more comfortable for me to be in. The women there were very talkative and made me laugh a lot. The instructor started the class and it was on after that. Growing up I was such a HUGE fan of Britney Spears and Nsync that I recorded their videos and learned their dance moves over and over, so this dance class was like a piece of cake for me. It was so much fun just learning something new and sexy, being around a variety of women from different cultures and beliefs. I was going through some personal problems at the moment and taking this class, helped me forget about everything. I will definitely come back to this place again to learn more and just surround myself with positive people. Did I mention the reception lady came up to me in the nicest way, and asked if I wanted her to record me when it was my turn to dance? I guess she was just too overwhelmed with the traffic that was coming in and out she snapped. I can relate to that sometimes. Overall, I enjoyed my time and money spent in this place and I will do it again. The next class will be a pole dance class. Wish me luck! read more

I too bought a groupon like reviewer below and went with friend Kristine V. I can't speak on my friend's behalf, but I actually liked the class variety being taught. I had my disappointments and but I ended up liking everything in the end. I already used another groupon for a pole dancing class, so I wasn't interested in that class. What interested me was the piyolet class. A combination of pilates, yoga, and ballet. The studio is small and the parking lot is ok sized, but I got lucky and got a spot right in front of the studio. When we entered Inner Me the studio was full, but like I said the studio is small. I know they say space is limited on the classes but they should really limit the size of certain classes. At times, I brushed the person next to me. Then my friend and I didn't know that each week the studio switches piyolet and hip hop yoga. The instructor let us vote and we ended up focusing more on yoga with a touch of pilates and ballet. 20 minutes into the class I was sweating up a storm! I was never a big fan of yoga, but I've taken many pilates classes and never sweat like i did. That's what made me give the studio a high rank. I didn't deal with any rude people. I just wish the classroom was either bigger or had less students. This was my first time...I may have to update my review when I try the other 2 classes. read more

I've been going to Inner Me Studios since it opened! My first class was the pole class. Different and fun, but not for me! The next class I tried was PIYOLET, a class that I loved from the start. Wednesday night Roslyn teaches either PIYOLET or hop hop yoga and I must say I love them both. The kickboxing class also rocks, It's not your traditional kickboxing class, but I think this is why I love it! All in all whenever I go to Inner Me Studios I get the workout I desire followed by the results I'm looking for. read more

I also bought a Groupon and enjoyed the urban kickbox and chair dancing classes very much. Note that the chair dancing class is more fun but not much of a work out. Overall, I'd give the instructors 4 stars. The reason my overall review is 2 stars is due to the owner/ front desk representatives. The first time I went, I specially asked if Groupon holders can still get the first free class advertised on the studio's website. I was specially told yes, that my Groupon applies beginning with my second class. When I called to register for my third Groupon class (you have to register ahead of time for certain classes), the representative originally told me that my Groupon had expired but, after double-checking, said that night's class would be my last Groupon class. When I arrived, the representatives said, no, the Groupon applied to my very first class. I told them that I had expressly asked and was told otherwise. They did not offer to honor what their representative had previously told me, so I just left. I've never had a business say one thing and then not honor it, especially since I was told just two hours earlier that I had one class left. I'd give zero star to the way the studio conducts business. Update - The studio sent me an email around midnight (after this review was originally posted) saying it will honor the one additional class so I bumped up my review by one star for its response. read more

I love the friendliness of the staff. It's already an experience I felt nervous about but the staff was very welcoming, friendly, funny and made it feel like they knew me already. The venue is clean and organized. The location is easy to find and has plenty of parking available. The instructor is very engaging and knowledgeable. I do not enjoy sweating or working out. However, getting fit at innerme studios definitely makes you forget about exercising. I was looking to incorporate fun workouts into my daily routines and came across Inner Me Studios. I decided to take a pole dancing class and a Zumba class to see which one I would prefer. They have an awesome deal for first timers and so I decided to check it out! I fell in love from the very first class! Brandi in Pole dancing is DA BOMB (so patient and funny) and Kacee is such an energetic and inspirational coach in Zumba! I love the vibe, everyone is so welcoming, and they're just there to sweat and have some fun! The difference between this and a class at a big gym is the fact that you will actually have space to move around! You have to sing up for classes and so it keeps them from getting so full that you can't move! If you're looking for some fun, come and check it! read more

FYI my review (stars) is based on Inner Me as a studio not the surrounding area (parking)! I love the atmosphere! When you walk in you immediately have a feel of this is somewhere you wanna be like, "I could bring my people here not only to have fun but of course to get our workout on." Gyms are intimidating enough well at least for me they are and here you have the opportunity to get a great workout in with a variety of options from a Deep Stretch/Contortion class to Ballet to Pole Dancing! Class sizes seem to range but you always get a great sense of one on one moments with the instructor (if that makes sense). The only down side I can think of is it is on the smaller side but the quality makes up for that. And for those wanting to know yes parking isn't the best. read more

Inner Me offers a more personal / private training experience than those fancy mega gyms. I was a member at Lifetime fitness last year, the yoga classes were always full and I hated being in a tiny room with 100 people for Zumba -I could barely move. Not my idea of fitness! read more

I took my first class there on Monday (3/11/13) Stiletto Fit, the instructor Quincy was amazing! He was confident, helpful and most of all he made it fun. I went with my best friend but met a group of friendly and equally amazing women all just wanting to have a good time and workout! My sisters were in town from Indiana, there is no such place like this there, they had the most amazing time and was even able to quickly pick up the routine. Donnie was patient with us and very inspiring. My sisters wanted to take him back with them. I only gave 4 stars because of the lack of parking space, but that isn't the Studios fault. read more

Awesome!!! My first class was super small so we had a lot of one on one time and in that time I learned so much. (Pole dancing). Instructors have great attitudes and are accepting when you work at your pace. Front desk is also very nice. If you are interested in other types of dancing they also provide those options.
