After practically living in the…read morestone ages without a workable phone for a few days, I brought my phone here and was helped by David Gonzalez. He made the impossible, possible, and revived my phone after the screen completely shut off. I had previously spoken to Apple (Apple was estimating a $600 repair) and AT&T (which essentially told me my best move was to upgrade to another phone), and thought I would lose all of my data forever. David G. asks me a few questions about the issue and reassured if my phone passed all of the tests, he would be able to resolve the problem. David explained everything that would be done from start to finish. He was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable-- a true problem solver. My phone was fixed within an hour. I was told to go through my phone's insurance (Asurion through AT&T) and my phone was fixed for far less than what I was expecting to pay. I highly recommend asking for David G.'s assistance. I was so impressed with the service here and will be recommending anyone in need of electronic repairs to uBreakiFix.

I wish I could give zero stars, but to leave a review, I have to select one star…read more I brought my MacBook Pro to uBreakiFix in Miami Lakes for a software loop issue, hoping their positive reputation would mean I was in capable hands. The original problem was purely software: the machine would power on, show the Apple logo, prompt for an update, and then restart into internet recovery and repeat that cycle over and over. Crucially, the computer did power on. When I picked it up the next day, I was told it couldn't be fixed because it was more complicated, but when I got home, it wouldn't even turn on. I discovered the battery was disconnected and a securing sticker was missing. When I questioned them, they admitted to opening the machine, which felt dishonest after they'd initially said they hadn't. While they may be proficient with other devices, I cannot recommend them for Apple products based on this lack of transparency and care. Thank you for your response, but an apology and a warranty offer do not fix the lack of honesty and professionalism I experienced. To provide more context, I discovered the issue on Friday after your business had closed. I called on Saturday, and I was told there was no time to look at it and that I should bring it back on Tuesday because Monday was a holiday. After bringing the MacBook back on Tuesday, I called around 5:30 PM to check on the status. The person at the front desk told me it was ready to be picked up, meaning it would be returned in the same condition I brought it in--with the software loop problem, but still powering on. Shortly after I mentioned in a comment that I might take the device to Apple, I was suddenly told to wait a moment, and the staff then came back to say it actually wasn't ready after all. This kind of conflicting information only reinforces my lack of trust in your service

Despite all this, owner Jimmy Lipps personally denied warranty by phone, claiming exposed cell caps with leaking acid are acceptable on a battery marketed as "Sealed Ultimate AGM." As a former corporate office employee of TigerDirect, I found it ironic that someone else decided…read moreto open a Computer Store in nearly the same location as TigerDirect. Having known TigerDirect's sales practices and policies, well, to say I was skeptical, that is an understatement. MicroCenter IS NOT TigerDirect. Well, the store does have a similar look, I mean, how much can you change a computer store but past that, nothing else was the same. I came in here looking for a Dell Alienware desktop and not only did the manager say hi, he set me up with a knowledgeable sales guy. Jared knew his stuff and was honest enough to tell me that I really didn't need that powerful of a computer and then he offered me another unit that was almost $400 cheaper. In all honestly, I had already spent weeks over analyzing this whole decision and was prepared to spend the larger amount. In the end, I ended up with one of their in house brands for a little less than the cost of the Dell just due to the ease of upgrading in the future. Now the funny thing is, I came home, still overthinking my decision and hit up Grok for an opinion and not only did Grok almost parrot what Jared said, it came to the same conclusion. The machine I purchased was a little bit slower but I would never use the extra speed or features so saving the extra hundred or so dollars was the right decision. Overall their prices were the same or better than places like Best Buy. Best Buy had a very similar looking Alienware Computer but once you dug into the specs, the MicroCenter unit had a much better cooling and faster memory in the same case. I will likely keep over analyzing my decision. I know that this isn't a lifetime decision but the last box I bought was in 2018 so I suspect that I will have this one for a while.
