I love their corned beef and cabbage soup I ordered a bowl of that, and I ordered the fish sandwich with a side of zesty fried pickles and jalapeños, my wife ordered the traditional Fish and chips. 3 items right easy enough to remember? Took about 15 to 20 minutes for our food to come out the waitress set my wife's fish and chips in front of her. She set my fish sandwich in front of me, and said will there be anything else? I said yes please scratch the soup I ordered, the shocked look on her face said it all, "I'll go get it right now", um NO I wanted an appetizer, not soup and sandwich. 2 of 3 items The fish and chips were as good as they always are, however, the fish sandwich was below par and had a weird Spice in the batter that I didn't care for. I ate half of it and left the rest. my wife was full after eating one of the two pieces of fish so I finished off the other piece. The fries used to be steak cut, they used to be great. Now they went to some weird curly thin cut, which are easily overcooked. In my opinion the spicy pickles and jalapeños were dry and over fried. The bill came to $42, for which I would have left a 18% tip $7.5, divide that by 3 (items) I left $5 tip, 2 out of 3. I don't think we'll be coming back. So sad we used to love this place. But in this day and age, no one cares.

My husband enjoyed his lasagna and I ordered the fettuccine, I really wanted to love it but it was bland and I don't think the asparagus and pine nuts helped because they are bland in general. I ended up putting a lot of salt and crushed pepper on it just to be able to enjoy it enough to eat it. The maple bacon they use here is delicious and they have a great selection of wines and beers here. As quickly as we learned it was we left, measures were taken for the reaction to not get any worse but a reaction still occurred requiring treatment and this was with eating one onion ring. We are always so careful to check before eating anywhere that has seafood to prevent this. I write this review as a caution, one of the ladies realized the mistake as we were taking our food to go and offered a refund as we were leaving but at that point the damage was done.
