I called them about 10 days ago, left a message asking for information about their services and I have yet to receive a call back.

My husband and I were the primary caretakers but I don't know how we would have managed without VITAS. Can't say enough good things about our VITAS care team. Our loved one was walking and somewhat independent at the start, and honestly quite a bit resistant to help/pain relieving medications/helpful medical equipment. Our head nurse Ogin handled the situation with professionalism and patience, but also honesty. Eventually, after experiencing all of the help provided, my mother in law told him "I don't like you, I love you." I am not a medical professional but I am particular about the care provided to my loved one, and I saw that everyone we interacted with at VITAS knows what they are doing. They were right about everything they suggested and were proactive in getting us resources/medicines/supplies before we ever got desperate. When something was not an emergency and we didn't need immediate care, they were right in assessing that too. We had Ogin, Mo, Krista, Alma, and eventually when around the clock nurses were needed, Jasmine, Daniel, Zach, and Natalie helped us. We also saw Jaqueline and Rochelle for drop-in visits and chaplain Karis. People should know that the beginning of hospice care can be a bit overwhelming and hectic because there are so many resources being established quickly - the medical equipment/supplies get delivered and bunch of team members reach out to provide assistance. It took a while for my mother in law and us as caretakers to adjust to all of the new faces and devices in our lives but I would advise people to stick with it and stick with VITAS because they have a process that works and honestly the staff are the most caring, compassionate, and respectful people I have ever met. Thank you so much to the VITAS team for guiding us through one of the most difficult but important processes we will ever experience, which is caring for a dying loved one.

The previous Hospice was OK, but I wanted to compare. Inland Regional Hospice was one of the companies given to me. The owner himself came to my home with his assistant. He was very caring and very realistic. The staff from the receptionist to the social worker are amazing. My mom was in my home during her Hospice care and I was her caregiver. Sherene was her case manager nurse and was always available no matter what time of the day. I always looked forward to the Social Worker Shekinah visits as she always made me feel I needed to take care of myself. She always showed sincere concern of my mental and physical care. Comparing my experience with the first Hospice and Inland Regional, I'm so blessed to have Inland Regional with me when my Mom passed away.

I had questions and got answers right away. No run around. No night time fill in company who didn't k ow us! They were fantastic. All the people were so Sweet and knowledgeable. I didn't have to do their jobs for them! And I was so happy to know my aunt was in good hands. The other company I had to help and do their job for them. Or show them how to care for her. Today as I wrote this my aunt passed away. I called them and they were here within the hour. Called the mortuary and took care of her for her cleaned up and ready for pick up. The sweetest nurse Adrian. Adrian you are an angel. I love your outgoing personality and so loving you were our angel these last days. So thank you. I was her full time care giver, and without the help of All Saints, I would have lost my mind and not have made it through such a hard time. My Mother was very well taken care of. Several times a week Gloria would come and bathe her. My Mom enjoyed that time getting "pampered" and was always all smiles. As she slowly began to succumb to her Alzheimer's, the support of All Saints, especially Janelle her nurse (who always made her laugh) and Jean her social worker, were imperative to both my Mom and I. I didn't realize how much I would need their help in just listening and their understanding in my fears and sadness. They were always available to answer any and all questions. The morning of December 5th, 2018, I knew my Mom was passing. I called Janelle crying and hysterical, she came over right away. Her calm demeanor and kind words helped me process and prepare to say good-bye. After my beautiful Mother passed, I was offered so much support in the ways of phone calls and visits from Marissa and their Chaplin Patricia. Janelle came to my Mom's funeral and to this day has checked in on me. Of course I have my husband and our family to lean on, but you don't realize how much you rely on the support in the people of hospice. I am grateful my Mom had such good care in her final days. I am grateful I had such good care as well.... Thank you All Saints.

She saw a neuropsychologist and after extensive testing was eventually diagnosed with major neurocognitive disorder (dementia) related to multiple factors. Her facility did not have a memory care unit and my wife and I had previously discussed moving her closer to us in Riverside County. I also wanted mom to live in a facility with a smaller number of residents and higher staff ratios than her large facility. My neighbor's late husband had resided at ICC some years ago and she was always pleased with his care in their memory care unit. After researching and doing some homework, we contacted Luz Rodriguez in ICC's marketing office. We met with Luz , discussed all our concerns and questions about whether ICC would be a good fit for my mom. Luz was wonderful and reassuring. From our initial meeting with her in late June, we assembled the required paperwork and necessary forms. A nurse from ICC went down to my mom's then-facility and assessed her as appropriate for their memory care unit. We moved my mom in on July 17th and met the caregiving staff and nurse assigned to her cottage. House manager Bernetta, LVN Daniel and assistant manager Paulina were all so welcoming and accommodating. Luz also was available to assist on a Saturday, and stayed even though we arrived much later than planned. Nurse Hazzel has also been diligent in communicating with mom's primary care physician about any medication changes and adjustments. Mom has been there about two months now and we couldn't be more pleased. She needs assistance with just about all her activities of daily living and staff are very responsive to her needs. Mom is kept clean and dressed appropriately. She is again getting her hair done regularly and even has polish on her nails! Our communication with staff whenever issues arise is first-rate. My wife and I visit unannounced regularly and are always welcomed and treated with respect. There have been some rough spots and anxious moments for my mom, but these have been handled promptly and professionally. Mom is still adjusting and getting used to this new place, routine and faces, but we remain confident that ICC will continue to meet her needs going forward.
