He was very caring and very realistic. The staff from the receptionist to the social worker are amazing. My mom was in my home during her Hospice care and I was her caregiver. Sherene was her case manager nurse and was always available no matter what time of the day. I always looked forward to the Social Worker Shekinah visits as she always made me feel I needed to take care of myself. She always showed sincere concern of my mental and physical care. By end of day on Tuesday I called my primary doctor office to get a new referral for home support. Wednesday morning I called the new referral authorization they said they did not have the authorization yet even though I gave them the number. I destiny home health.com/ waited 5 hours & called back still they had not received authorization. I call my medical center back ask them to fax it to Destiny home, I waited 20 minutes & called them back to see if the received the authorization and believe it or she then told me they don't have staff to cover & was rerouting my authorization back to my pro. All these facilities are so unprofessional unbelievable. Not even my dr will reach out to to assist. SAD PART IS IM AFRAID OF NOT PROPERLY HEALING BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PT EXERCISES I NEED TO START ON MYSELF. He did not want to stay another night! Even though it was late the night that we got home, Dr. Fukuda visited us to introduce himself and engage in meaningful conversation with my dad. Dr. Fukuda has a very positive and friendly presence, and he knows what questions to ask to spark interest in the patient. The weekly visits from the nurse, Karen, gave my father something to look forward to. When she came to check vitals and address any concerns, she was efficient, but also respectful. I also liked her use of more natural medicines. Finally, I was comforted by Chaplain Wong's visits and phone calls. He offered support when I needed it, and it was nice to have his services available for both of us. Thank you Bright Sky.
