The staff in the ER are very efficient and professional and treat patients and their family with respect. If the ER doctor decides you need to be transported, they select a medical facility that will take the patient regardless of location. Recently, my husband was transported from Bear Valley to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. The medical center has a horrible reputation, which I can now confirm, and is 80 miles from our home down the mountain. After 10 days, he is finally home. I will certainly think twice about going to Bear Valley ER again. If driving down the mountain to a hospital of my choice is an option, I will certainly do that in the future.

I ignored it stupidly on that particular day I felt the pain was worse than ever and I better go to the ER here to our wonderful hospital. Mountain Community Hospital in Lake Arrowhead. I went there feeling pretty cocky and thinking this will be nothing well once again. I was there approximately 7:45 in the morning and I was just complaining about chest pain and the incredible doctor and nurses took the bull by the horn and recognized the signs and started taking x-rays and what not and I'm saying it's nothing. It's nothing. I'm feeling pain here is there but immediately they saw and recognized issues and me being the stupid person that I am I'm saying no, I have to go to Spain in three days and they were fantastic. I cannot say oh my God how wonderful they were. They took the ball by the horn like I said and they immediately took some test and they said you're going to have to go down the hill to Riverside Community and I just thought that was crazy well fast-forward that was on 12 May a week later I ended up having open-heart surgery yes and I must say they literally saved my life that was told to me several times by the doctors and the cardiologist at Riverside Community. I would've had several heart attacks in Spain or the airplane had I not been at Riverside Community and had my open heart surgery and had a ER at Mountain community done what they did they literally saved my life that entire staff between the doctors and the entire staff between the nurses the radiologist. They are five star all the way we up here on the mountain are so blessed with the entire staff and the doctors they are our angels truly are angels. We need to stop complaining about the stupid stuff and realize how blessed we are to have the staff at Mountain community. They are really the best stop complaining about the stupid little stuff because they saved my life and I bless them every day. I wake up, I was told by my neurologist at Cedar Sinai that 82% of people don't even make it to the surgery table 82% and that would've been me had it not been the staff at the ER at Mountain community. After caring for him on hospice at home by myself for eight months, it was a difficult decision to transition him to a facility, and I struggled for four months to find somewhere I trusted. From my very first phone call with Teri, all of my fears and anxiety disappeared. She was kind, empathetic, sincere, and truly concerned for his well-being. Unlike other facilities that only focused on the bottom line, she was the only person who asked for his name. Coming from North Carolina, where we pride ourselves on taking care of one another, that meant the world to me. Norman passed away this past Saturday. While I am grieving, I am at peace knowing he died with dignity, comfort, and exceptional care. Your home was immaculate and your staff was wonderful. Two days before he passed, Norman told me he was going to die and assured me he was at peace. I am so thankful he was able to spend his final days at Chantilly Lace Manor. We are forever grateful to Teri and her staff for stepping up when Norman needed it most.

My mom was placed on hospice and we chose Chantilly Lace because we heard so many wonderful things from so many different people. And everything we heard was absolutely true. The home itself is very nice. It's extremely clean and it feels and looks just like your neighbor's house. My mom came from two different hospitals before arriving to Chantilly lace. She was very depressed being in those hospitals, and as soon as she arrived to Chantilly Lacy, her face lightened up and it was the first time we had seen her smile in weeks. Terry and her staff are extremely loving to the residents and their families. We spent Christmas Day there and we had such a wonderful day. They made a wonderful feast and gave out presents to the residents. They are a fun and lively staff, so it felt like we were visiting family. I passed away there in January 2023 and I know she felt so loved and cared for by each staff member. I am so thankful to Chantilly Lace for taking such wonderful care of my mother. We will always be grateful and we definitely consider them family now. I still stay in touch with Terry, in fact. Thank you Chantilly Lace for everything!!

He did not want to stay another night! Even though it was late the night that we got home, Dr. Fukuda visited us to introduce himself and engage in meaningful conversation with my dad. Dr. Fukuda has a very positive and friendly presence, and he knows what questions to ask to spark interest in the patient. The weekly visits from the nurse, Karen, gave my father something to look forward to. When she came to check vitals and address any concerns, she was efficient, but also respectful. I also liked her use of more natural medicines. Finally, I was comforted by Chaplain Wong's visits and phone calls. As of early yesterday, I had not met nor spoke with my mom's Doctor.
