My mom said she got tired of waiting and used her wheelchair to get to the toilet. The girls never came to help some of the time. It was better than some places I've seen and worked in. I recovered at Redlands Healthcare skilled nursing facility, after an accident that crippled both…read morelegs due two large-bone fractures, needing rods and pins, and an ankle dislocation that needed a plate implant. The other leg, a knee needed reconstruction. I could barely put weight a little on one leg when I got there. The Physical Therapy section of the care was excellent. Even when I could barely move the legs they had me getting my blood circulating with stretch bands in bed and lifts. I felt so inspired to heal. We worked so well together, my team who helped with all kinds of care, from clean ups, bathing, the meal plan, the medications and even some fun activities such as painting, word games, number games and searches. There were special events such as ethnic music and dance, an ice cream social, and birthday celebrations. Staff people, nurses and assistents were cheerful and helpful. Administration: top notch. I considered staying longer, but the care was so efficient at getting me back on my feet again that I got to leave two months early! I even went back to visit some of my friends-- both patients and staff, and felt welcome and almost like home! No wonder this place is always full to capacity with people lined up to get in! Thank you to every person who contributed to such a speedy recovery! They made sure that I got home safely, as well. 10/10 I highly recommend this facility!

The kind receptionists that are the first point of contact when you first walk in. The patient care is, "Legendary!" They have been going well and beyond the call of duty not only with patient care, but the genuine dedication and love they show for every single patient. The reality of life, they become family by Love and not Blood. The Confidentiality is surreal. They are NOT giving up absolutely no information until they verify YOU are on the contact and have permission to ask PII questions. Avoiding liabilities is Redlands Healthcare Center Reality.. We come from a military background and deeply value professionalism, structure, and respect--qualities that were sorely lacking here. We arrived 30 minutes early to our scheduled appointment, only to be told five minutes after the appointment time that it had been canceled--without any prior notice. No apology, no explanation, and certainly no accountability. This level of disregard for people's time and needs is unacceptable, especially from a place that claims to be a mental health haven. The waiting area was incredibly uncomfortable. While our family is open-minded, loving, and accepting of all walks of life, we did not feel that the space was safe or appropriate--especially with our four-month-old newborn present. The behavior and general vibe of the people allowed to linger in the lobby were unsettling, and it made us question the level of discernment and professionalism of the staff. It's deeply ironic that this office markets itself as a safe and healing space, when in reality, it induced more stress, confusion, and anxiety than any other environment I've stepped into for mental health care. It's difficult to imagine how someone working in this field could appear so mentally unwell themselves--and even more difficult to understand how they were hired to help others. If you are not part of a very specific demographic or ideology, and especially if you are a working-class or military family like ours, you may find yourself feeling very unwelcome and out of place here. Please be wary. What this place claims to be and what it actually is are two very different things.

Where the same treatment for one person is successful, for another it may not fully work. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I arrived at Cedar House this morning and the people…read morein the lobby who did the intake were nice. Then I got taken back met with medical dropped my bags off with the guards/employees in the center pod and then I was shown to my room. It was a room with four beds, the bedding was literally worse than what you get in prison. There was an open shared closet, with graffiti MS-13 gang tags. There was a restroom that was shared with the room next-door, which was disgusting. I then met with a therapist and he was OK but didn't seem to care much and then a loud overhead announcement such as a lockdown was announced for everyone to return to their rooms. I wasn't inside there more than 30 minutes before this happened. The whole place on the inside was literally just like a prison, except the rooms had doors instead of bars. The guys inside this place easily 80% of them look like gang bangers, thugs, knuckleheads, or crackheads and it was loud as heck in there. The therapist, noticing my education and background even told me I should watch out who I hang with and to try and find someone more like me in there. I'm sorry, but rehab should feel like a safe space not a place where I should feel worried about being attacked by some young punk in my sleep, or just for looking at him wrong. So I went to the center pod knocked on the door, and when the employee answered I told him I was not staying and I would like my stuff. The guy grabbed my stuff and handed it to me and started laughing as I was headed out. If you are a normal person in society, who has an addiction, I would seriously recommend finding somewhere else to rehab. This place is a joke and it's not even funny.

The whole team really goes above and beyond to make sure that there's growth in your healing journey. I stopped going during the holidays after getting really sick and missing two weeks worth of therapy really slowed me down not to mention pain returning. After having a fractured foot and arm and a really bad ankle sprain I can't believe the amount of things I've found while at physical therapy we are currently correcting. The team is super friendly, professional, and most importantly, knowledgeable. I always feel at home, from the evaluation to every therapy ever attended. They hear my concerns, answer my questions, and treat me with respect and kindness. I've made friends with other patients as well and there's never a dull moment. I am grateful I landed in this place for services. And thank you to the scheduling lady. She really makes it happen and encourages you to show up to your appointments! The doctors helped me understand how my muscle pain (reason for referral) was connected to other issues I'd been experiencing, which was incredibly validating.
