And I understand that it hasn't just been rough for me. It's also been rough for the people around me. I consider myself to be brave. Getting out of bed each morning may not seem brave to most, but anyone who has battled through the self eclipsed war of depression knows otherwise. When the voices and forces within you want nothing more than to bring you down, you need to rise above. And that, is the bravest thing anyone could ever do. Depression can you turn you into someone you aren't. It will make your face unrecognizable in the mirror, your voice unrecognizable to your ears. When you're hurting, you do and say things you don't mean. You turn into an angry, ugly person. Someone you truly are not. To those who could not handle it, I'm sorry. I truly am sorry.  When you get into a really bad state, sleeping is rare. You lay awake through the night, thinking, weeping and panicking. Essentially, wishing you were dead. Waking up in the morning and carrying on like a "normal human" is not the easiest thing in the world to do, when just 12 hours ago you were praying to fall asleep and not wake up. Some would say I was unmotivated, boring or mean. They weren't wrong, but if only they knew. When you're depressed, it is difficult to reach out. You fear what others will think, and how they will treat you. "Get over it", "You're so dramatic", these are phrases I've heard more than enough. The thoughts that go on in our minds are scary, terrifying in fact. It takes courage to face them yourself, let alone take the first step in changing and reprogramming your thought process. I have seen the light. A light I once thought I would never find. My mental illness is not my reality. I would never choose this life for myself, or anyone, but i have finally overcome my demons. The Holistic Sanctuary gave me the power to take control of my life and stopped my battles with addiction and guided me in overcoming my mental health issues. From the various IV therapies, to energy healing, massages, to a well balanced diet and nutrition, after 17 years of nicotine addiction and my struggles with mental health have become a thing of the past. I have never felt more powerful than I do in this very moment. I am filled with so much self love that I could never ingest or cause any type of harm that is my body, my temple. I've realized that I haven't been the person I truly am, or the person I am meant to be. I've done, and said, some terrible things. I've made mistakes, and I've been an ugly person. If it wasnt for Johnny and his angels I wouldnt have continued on this path and for that I want to say thank you for your kindness. You will never know how often the smallest gestures made the biggest difference. On days when all I could do was cry, or all I wanted was to become invisible, your kindness mattered. The words "thank you" seem so inadequate, and yet they are all I have to offer. I know I can never repay you, but please know I am eternally grateful. Without Johnny I would no longer be here. Thank you for making the effort to making my journey as easy as possible each and every day. Thank you for realizing that while I rarely ask, I often need help and support. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do in guiding all those that are lost in the world. Both Dr. Mahjoubi and his staff was incredibly responsive when I had any questions or concerns. I was on the program for about 6 months or so and it helped me at a time nothing else would. I went off it after to try TMS which was a total waste of time and money. My situation changed financially so I couldn't afford to go back but I honestly felt like it was very helpful while I was in the program. Compared to other Ketamine options, I found his pricing to be reasonable for the care offered and would not hesitate to return should my finances allow.

The pharmacy accused me of , overusing, sharing and manipulating the medication. I asked if they looked at the pictures and videos of the leak and they said no they didn't have time and to reach Dr. M for him to decide what to do. 30 minutes later I get an email from Dr. M accusing me of being an addict!! This is suppose to be a HEALING clinic, but its done nothing that run my bank dry, and cause me MORE anxiety. Dont call yourselfs a HEALING clinic if youre just going to accuse your patients of being addicts. I made a few last ditch efforts to resolve this nicely, because $400 waste of a product really upset me and they couldnt even do a refund or a replacement. Anyways DR.M instead of acting like an adult acted like a literal CHILD and decided to BLOCK MY CELL PHONE NUMBER. So this place is a SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! He is very honest as well as I can see from his practice of prescribing medicine to children. He does not simply prescribe anything unnecessary. Often times he does not prescribe anything at all to let my child recover naturally as long as she is not experiencing any complications. He also responds to my questions over the phone fairly quickly. I really appreciate that. I also enjoy the customer service of the office staff. It is very easy to reach them by phone. Same-day appointments with Dr. Chong is easy to arrange. Clinic is clean and newly remodeled. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend.

So I went on our good ol' Yelp and found this wonderful urgent care. Everything about this experience - the first phone call with Gabrielle, her care, concern and professionalism; her being on the ball and so efficient( btw she is a US Navy Veteran)- this set the tone for a great and calming visit. Dr Cho was incredible. Very personable, cool, related to me and was just so very thorough as he covered every possible avenue and took his time treating me, testing my reflexes and my areas of concern. He was very thorough. He showed me and detailed all of my x rays. The office was immaculate. Clean and very well organized. There were complimentary mini water bottles and some snacks for the patients. Great medical establishment.

I had explained to the doctor that my back had been injured for over 2 weeks so he prescribed 5mg of Flexeril for 10 days. After taking this and staying away from the gym for 6 days, there was ZERO improvement. The medicine wasn't doing a thing for me. So i called them to see if they could switch up my muscle relaxant and they said I'd have to come in again. WHAT! I was literally just there for the same exact problem and you want me to return?!? They just want another reason to bill my insurance, as if my first copay wasn't high enough. My advice- if you can wait for your primary doc- WAIT! OR find an urgent care where they really want to help and not just collect on insurance.

Deanna called me up within 5 minutes and started the check in process, only to learn that Aetna not only sent me to the wrong Urgent Care, they also had given me the wrong insurance card! Deanna could have easily sent me on my way, but she went the extra mile (and for those of you that don't know, it's never crowded) and located my provider and the correct urgent care facility. I took the medicine and recovered after I finished the medicine. Amy was very friendly and answered my questions on the doctors and clinic/office operations. 2nd visit was for my pain at the back of the ankle (achilles) for almost 3 months. Don walked in with a huge smile and very friendly and checked my foot and found a bump at the back of heel that needed x-ray to confirm. (when I saw my podiatrist twice in the last month, he didn't even notice it). only problem is the x-ray order form had a wrong address that I ended up driving around to find the correct location. I've decided to make an appointment with the MD in the house to see if I can change my PCP to this location for convenience. earliest appointment is 2 months away, hopefully this is bc MD is on travel, and not a typical trend for scheduling. but at least the PAs were knowledgeable and the staffs were very friendly. So happy I've found this place w/in 10min. from my house.
