A very long search for a treatment center that would actually deliver real results for a family member ended here. I've been on a long journey with my mental health, and it hasn't been an easy one. From the constant dissappointment that's been my companion, to the depression that one day changed me into a different person without warning, it's been rough. Some would say I was unmotivated, boring or mean. They weren't wrong, but if only they knew. When you're depressed, it is difficult to reach out. You fear what others will think, and how they will treat you. "Get over it", "You're so dramatic", these are phrases I've heard more than enough. During the Covid-19 pandemic I got a little more anxious than usual, I had to increase my prescribed medication dosage and my panic attacks, depression and anxiety just went up to the roof, the doctor I used to see just prescribed more an more medications and benzodiazepines were taking control of my life. I started feeling so different, and down; my brain receptors started to get extremely addicted to the medications and I could not figure a way to get out of the dependency of being on prescribed drugs all the time. Wow, like many here it is very difficult to find a proper place to even begin articulating my experience at Holistic Sanctuary. I've read several reviews and it really sounds too good to be true, but I can confirm the reviews as my experience was also completely transformational. The healing is possible and it is very real; it is also a concept foreign to those suffering until they experience it for themselves. As addicts, we have never truly been present, or had a balanced, functioning brain, we don't even know what that is like. I certainly do now, and it is life changing. Johnny the Healer and the most amazing staff on the planet will gently walk you through this process. They will make spiritual healing at the deepest and most profound level a reality for you, if this is what you truly desire. I could write an entire page on my addiction history, the pain, suffering, hopelessness, lostness, the bottom, but the story is the same. It was heroin primarily however anything I could get my hands on, had been the arbiter of my freedom and focus since I was a late teenager. It was a slow motion collapse until I turned myself over completely to addiction, having no fire or will left to fight. I had been to rehabs, I had been briefly sober many times, I had spent every last ounce of my being in open warfare against what I knew was destroying not just me, but all those who loved me as well. Eventually I gave up, I had no nothing left. You cannot fight this darkness, you will never succeed in this combat, addiction has a pile of souls far greater than yours or mine. I don't have to manufacturer an appearance of a healthy state to deceive others into believing something they know not to be true; they can feel the energy. My heart is now in love, not fear. All this because that dark entity, the nameless, that serpent that whispers constantly underneath the breath, slithering within every thought, wrapped around the source of the trauma and pain from which its sustenance is derived, that serpent of suggestion, always demanding the drug, the dragon, has been forever silenced, replaced with a direct line of sight to higher self. I am not even sure where to start. The transformation in me is so amazing I can barely recognize myself. I am a 32-yr. old CURED addict. I was truly a HOPELESS DOPEFIEND, reborn to a DOPELESS HOPEFIEND. My drug of choice was always more, more, more...with a constant usage of Heroin for the past 10 yrs., accompanied with Meth for the last 4 yrs. Beyond words... I just completed my 2 month stay at the holistic sanctuary and I am at a lost for words. I am convinced that Johnny and his staff are angels sent from the heavens to heal the people of the world who are suffering from physical and mental illness. I have been to 5 treatment centers in the past, and when I came in, I was at deaths doors. I came in very suicidal and damaged to the point where I could barely form complete sentences. I was on 6 different medications(Effexor, suboxone, xanax, clonodine, hydroxyzine, serequol, etc.) along with other illicit drugs(cocaine, fentanyl, nitrous) and I left the center 2 months later completely drug free and healed. I was in a car accident years ago and since my injuries were so severe the doctors put me on pain pills. Needless to say within a short few weeks I was hooked and became addicted to oxycontin and all other opiates. This place is the real deal. Johnny the Healer and the Pouyan Method saves lives. He saved my son. I lost my oldest son to opiate addiction four years ago. This wonderful young man struggled with his addiction for years, alienating himself from family and friends, at times suicidal, and in trouble with the law. Johnny The Healer was his last chance.
