I am extremely disappointed with the way this medical office has handled my care. I originally…read morescheduled my appointment in early April and have been waiting months to be seen. Recently, I was informed that my appointment was simply canceled due to the doctor's unavailability. I was not given a meaningful alternative or accommodation, and the cancellation was made against my wishes after I had already waited a significant amount of time for care. When I called to reschedule, I was told that the next available appointment would not be until September. In other words, because of a scheduling issue on the provider's side, I am now expected to wait several additional months to receive medical care. What makes this even more concerning is that my health has been deteriorating while I wait for treatment. I sought this appointment because I need medical care, not because it is optional. Being told that I must wait until September despite worsening symptoms is both frustrating and alarming. The only alternative offered was for me to call every day to check whether another patient had canceled an appointment so that I might be able to take that opening. This is not a reasonable solution. I work on specific days and cannot constantly call the office hoping that an appointment becomes available at a time when I am able to leave work and attend on short notice. If an opening becomes available while I am at work, I am effectively out of luck. It is unacceptable to place the burden on patients to repeatedly call the office every day in hopes of obtaining care, especially after waiting since April and while dealing with a declining health condition. Patients deserve timely access to medical treatment and reasonable accommodations when appointments are canceled through no fault of their own. As a result of this experience, I will be filing a formal grievance with my insurance provider. I hope this office improves its scheduling practices, prioritizes patients with ongoing medical needs, and shows greater consideration for those whose health may worsen while waiting months for an appointment.

She has shared distrubing stories about times where she would make an appointment, show up, and NO ONE is there. Another time, she was told that they didn't have any available appointments for her to meet with the doctor to simply get a referral and if she wanted one, she would have to go to their office on a Saturday and cross her finger to see a doctor because it was based on a first-come first-serve basis. Today, I called to inquire about the referral that was already 6-days late, and the young man who answered the phone stated it was pending approval from the insurance company, then turned around seconds later, called my mother back, and stated that he was wrong. The referral wasn't even processed, yet!!! It's just a referral guys!!! A simple name and phone number for a cardiologist so my mother can a get a pacemaker! Pull it together and do your jobs. Peoples' lives are on the line. Maybe it's time to consider a different profession!!!

First the office staff are very professional and accommodating, next the clinic staff who takes your vitals are professional and ensure they use universal precautions to ensure there are no cross contamination from patient to patient. This is a biggie for me when it comes to doctor offices. Last, Dr. Rishi Majithia. This is my fourth appointment seeing him. I was recommended to him by my daughter in law who is a medical professional. I was initially very skeptical because doctors now days care more about money than the care they provide. Dr. Majithia, my first appointment he listened to my complaints and concerns, gave his feed back, made slight recommendations and genuinely seem as if he cared. By my second appointment he actually was able to repeat some of the concerns from the previous appt and made excellent recommendation. This let me know he actually was listening and taking appropriate notes the first appointment. By my third appointment he addressed all my medical concerns, started me on new meds which we both agreed, made legitimate realistic goals for me to follow and seemed as if he really cared about my well being. Again he was able to recite all my previous complaints from the past appointments. ((He really Listens). Today, I had my fourth appt. I can now say I have found a provider who is knowledgeable, competent, up to date with society and current medical trends. Knowledgeable of Diabetes, and is genuinely concerned about his patients. Seems he has a passion for his profession. When he took his Oath to be a doctor to care for patients he did it because he wanted to see a change in people and he care about people's health. If your looking for a doctor who cares about his patient's, current on medical knowledge, doesn't rush you during appointments, listens, there is no need to go further. I honestly dont know how they're still in business! I go to ever Dr appointment with my father and every time I go the operator is on a personal phone call while the phones are ringing off the hook! How do i know its a personal call you ask? She sits in the lobby and you can hear her conversation and giggles! The lobby is small and quiet and theres no privacy window. The office staff that collect copayments and check you in all sit the lobby area in small desk. You can hear everything they talk about, patient names, DOB, in my opinion major HIPPA violation! There should be some sort of privacy to protect patient identity and information! Every time we call to try and reach the Dr to leave a message we are put on hold for litteraly 45 minutes one time! Never once does anyone come back to say anything you just sit like a waiting duck! Finally I give up and decide to hang up! Ive complained multiple times, including my father to the clinic director, the Dr and lets just say that even the Dr agreed that hes lost many patients due to the lack of experience of this staff! A few years ago my brother almost died when he was misdiagnosed with a cold instead of pulmonary embolisim. I took him to urgent care after he coughed up a scary amount of blood, I took the blood in a ziplock bag as a sample to show the Dr. This was dark colored pure blood and not just a tiny bit a pretty scary amount, The dr disregarded it and said oh this is nothing its just some blood because maybe he coughed and strained his throat! I begged him (the Dr) to ask for a second opinion I didnt believe for one second that this was not serious, he looked at me like I was crazy and gave my brother some antibiotics and send him on his way! This is the way urgent care is they are always in a rush to get you out of there! 12 hours later he collapsed at home and was rushed via ambulance to the nearaest hospital, this is when we discovered he had several clots in his lungs! The Dr said it was miracle hes alive! In my opinion this clinic is ALWAYS dirty! The patient rooms are old and run down, and never kept up! It looks dirty and unsanitary! Especially urgent care! That area of the clinic stinks, theres always trash on the floors, the bathrooms are disgusting! I would imagine they are comparable to a public porter potty! Again this is just some of the crazy stuff that has happened I could get into more stories but think I could write a whole novel! Ive asked and begged and pleded with my dad to please switch drs but hes happy with his Dr and feels that its to much of a hassel to switch and leave a good Dr because the rest of the staff lacks!
