We have used this company twice. The first time was good. The second time a few days ago, was not…read moreas good. The response was quick and the work completed was satisfactory. However, the owner was not as upfront and informative as he shoud have been. We called to get a breaker replaced for the water heater. He sent a truck to our home with two service technicians. Long story short, he admitted that it was a one person job but since he had two techs in the truck he billed us for both. The bill was 750.00 to replace one breaker. When we complained, he said, "I'm sorry we are to expensive for you." If I was told that two technicians were coming and being billed as such, I would have called another company. You decide for yourself if this is fair business or not.

For some reason, the Yelp app would not let me update that review directly which is why I am doing it here Izak did the work for the latest job on April 8th 2025. He did the troubleshooting on the garbage disposal not working. He found a faulty switch and receptacle and replaced things as should be. Just like the other tech he was focused, efficient, swift in the matter while being customer friendly as well. Thank you Isak!. Just as any other company JJ electric Service is a combination of the people who do the work per se and those managing the work. The two people with whom I connected were Richard and Jen. Just as their techs, they communicate well with the customers, and show transparency and honesty about what they can or cannot do. Electrical work is expensive yet the cost of both jobs shows that they are not taking advantage of their customers. Thank you. As I normally do I probably will update in the future most likely to confirm that everything done on this latest job is still working well! I am recommending JJ electric and their techs without reservation.

I found Winner Electric on Yelp search while looking for electricians in the east-of-Portland area…read more I needed an assortment of electrical issues addressed on my home. Open junctions, inoperable outlets and switches, questionable wiring, and unfinished projects: these are some of the trappings of owning an older home. Paul came out to do an estimate on our project. I had the project bid by multiple companies. Winner's attitude, willingness to take on the project, and prompt follow up with a quote earned them the job. We had a scheduling mishap, but I won't take stars off for that. It was resolved quickly. I am super happy with the work completed. The electricians came out and worked most of the day in all areas of my home. They replaced breakers, outlets, switches, and resolved loose and unsafe wiring that was downstairs and in my garage. Winner answered my questions, and if something didn't seem right, they worked together to find the root cause of the issue rather than applying a workaround. I was so happy with the work completed, that I hired Winner back a second time, a couple weeks later, to complete the wiring to an outbuilding and reconfigure the wiring in my garage. That work was largely completed Friday - waiting on a part to finish up a couple aspects, but I'm happy with this work as well. I would use their services again, and I would recommend to others.

John and Hunter are professional, knowledgeable, and always great to work with. Over the years they've handled everything from a same-day emergency thermostat replacement to installing an EV charger, upgrading my electrical panel, wiring my entire workshop with a new subpanel, installing ceiling fans, and more. No matter the size of the job, the quality of their work is always top-notch. They're a family-owned local business that truly takes pride in what they do. Their reliability, craftsmanship, and customer service have earned my trust to the point that I never even consider calling another electrician. Highly recommended!

Despite this, John answered my call earlier this morning and was at my front door before 2pm this afternoon. A loose wire in an outlet knocked out 1/2 the power in the house and John and Hunter had it traced down and repaired/replaced in no time, (for real under 20 minutes!) They were courteous and kind and reasonably priced! Also, I appreciated Shelley keeping me updated as to the timeline for their arrival as my situation was very stressful and involved a tight timeline for the repair! Many thanks!! 10/10 recommend Pacific NW Electric!!

I envisioned tearing up my landscaping to rewire or worse. Todd immediately put me at ease by saying that the problem was likely the 'driver' in the LED, similar to ballast in a fluorescent bulb, in layman's terms that I could understand. And just changing the bulb would likely solve the problem. A company with no integrity could take advantage of me as a widow with no experience in electrical issues. I was embarrassed but relieved that the solution could be that simple. Sure enough it was! Thank you Todd and thank you Wadsworth Electric! Furthermore, the electricians' union paid the one-time bill because I lived in their special area.

They were hired to diagnose a problem with control panel of the septic system, which was completely operational. However, the high water alarm was not operating so they insisted the entire panel needed to be replaced. The service call to diagnose was four hours of labor prepaid at $680. The estimate to replace the panel was about $700 and the labor was another $680. When I called to check the status, they asked me "oh, do you want to schedule that?" Then they said it would take two weeks to get the panel which was going to be past my closing date. So I had to put money in escrow and after three days of trying to get a written estimate, they insisted on charging eight hours of labor plus the cost of the panel. In my opinion, they are capitalizing on my situation. They are very slow at responding and at this point I have paid almost $2700 and they have not repaired anything. Just diagnosed a panel. Use at your own risk.
