Marisa is sweet and talented. She's meticulous and take her time to draw the brows that frame your face the best, and make sure you're okay with them before starting her magic of transforming the perfect brows for you. This review is long over due but I have to let you know how much of a great job was done and how everything worked out. I had been searching for a microblading place to take my mom for a birthday gift. She had been wanting to get her eyebrows microbladed or tattooed for a very long time. I had suggested microblading because they would give her a more natural look. So there I go in search of a place that will make her look and feel beautiful even though she already is. After days of search I found a great deal so we decided to go for it. I reached out to Marisa and she responded right away, I set up the appointment and we finally went. My mom was super surprised to do it and she was so excited. Marisa took her time with my mom and they talked about exactly how she wanted her eyebrows to look, they finally chose the perfect shape and she started. My mom said she didn't feel a thing and after Marisa was done and showed my mom, she was so happy to see she actually had eyebrows again. After years of over plucking it was time for some help. We went back for her retouch and final adjustments and she couldn't be any happier. To see the look on my moms face after seeing that she had eyebrows again was just priceless. I waited a few months before writing this review because I wanted to make sure that everything healed properly and that my mom was 100% satisfied. Your eyebrows definitely make a huge difference on how you look and feel and my mom finally sees that. She gets complements all the time and she is just so happy. So... I'm not one to get all into doing permanent make up on myself since I don't really wear lots of make up or very minimal at best when I do. However I kind of accidentally met Marisa in the previous building she used to work at and very innocently discovered her services when she told me what she did. I saw the photos she posted of her past clients of these very naturally, shaped and accentuated brows and I thought to myself... "I need these in my life!" Kind of surprised by my own desire but I do believe in highlighting certain features about ourselves to bring out the best in us and hey... it's undeniable this woman knows how to bring that out in her clients. I was impressed by the entire process: the measuring of the face/brows to ensure the shape compliments the size of your head, the fine hairline strokes to create the most natural look and even the after care instructions/care kit she has wrapped up together to seal the deal. Marisa is amazing! I was considered a "very challenging" case. My eyebrows were way over plucked, I had bald spots, and not to mention they were completely unsymmetrical. Two of my friends had gone to see her to get their brows done and I had complimented them on separate occasions and asked what they did differently to make their brows look so amazing and they both told me MICROBLADING and to go see Marisa. I made my appointment and although I was initially quite anxious about it, I was immediately put at ease once I got to the salon. Marisa really knows what she is doing and takes the time to explain mircroblading to clients that are unfamiliar with the process. She also made an effort to understand the look I was going for (not too thick or too dark). I'm so happy with my results.
