Don't let some of the Google Reviews deter you - this is hands down the best lash lift and tint I've ever had. She had to move the appointment 1-2 hours past when I was scheduled to be there, but the service was worth it and she texted me to let me know a few hours beforehand. Great communication, but if you have a tight schedule, I'd keep that in mind. Her corner of the salon is cozy and relaxing, and she's very kind. Compared to other places I've gone in WeHo, she's competitively priced ($80-90 versus $120 at other salons) and does a heck of a better of a job. The lift and tint itself was amazing!! I've had these done a few times and I have blonde eyelashes. For me these usually last about 1-1.5 weeks, but I'm a month in and they're still curled and slightly tinted. Fantastic! read more

Whenever I have a friend, family member, co-worker, or just anyone talk to me about getting their lashes done - I make sure to recommend Melika! I have been going to her for years now, and honestly wouldn't let another lash tech near my sensitive eyes! (A big reason why I trust her is because of that - and it's definitely scary experimenting when you already have the best). I have tried out both lash extensions in various formats and the lash lift/tint. Lash Extensions: Melika is extremely attentive to her client's needs, preferences, and questions. I never knew much about extensions - so naturally I had a million questions for her. She was always very patient with me and my inquisitive nature - BLESS HER SOUL - and always had such great knowledge in addressing everything. I had started with a more natural set before experimenting with more full volume / hybrid ones. She knows that I don't like anything too dramatic and when she would help me venture out - the lashes always exceeded my expectations and surprised me in the best possible way. (Truthfully I had a few other experiences - but also noted that my lashes sometimes would fall out extremely fast or the adhesive used was very harsh on my eyes). Melika is receptive to her clients and definitely took the time to find an adhesive that's super gentle! - At least in my experience. Lash Lift & Tint: I had no idea what I was getting into here - however I wanted to try it as I have been using Latisse lately and trying to grow my lashes. I wanted a little extra UHMP! so figured this would be a good option - AND OH MY GOODNESS. I ABSOLUTELY loved the natural lift she provided with this service. Once again, the products she used were gentle and the experience was fun - as always. Among her services and work showing for themselves at the end of the appointment - Melika herself has such a positive and warm energy and she's literally so funny! She also literally lets me sleep when I need to as she does her work - I am guilty of being super tired sometimes and I so appreciate that she lets me hit SNOOZE while she works her magic. 10/10 I definitely recommend. On top if it - I love that she always has new recommendations for keeping my lashes healthy and strong, and gifts a new lash brush in the cutest packaging everytime - and she's always so available to her clients! read more

I have very pale white skin and blonde short lashes that do absolutely nothing for me! When I was still working, I used to get lash extensions regularly, which made such a huge difference! I absolutely loved having fake lashes and if I didn't suffer from chronic migraines, I would still find a way to afford to get falsies given how fabulous they looked! However, now that I get migraines 3xs a week, lash extensions are just waaay too bothersome since the migraine pain is usually right behind my eyes and the falsies can be super irritating! But thanks to a Groupon, I found Melika and she introduced me to something amazing called a "lift and tint!" I'm pretty sure she used a solution (something like that of a perm) on my real lashes which caused them to lift and curl unlike I've ever been able to do with a lash curler!!! Then she dyed the blonde lashes dark so that it looks like I'm wearing mascara too! Omg! They turned out soooooo great!!! I never thought my natural lashes could look so amazing without any product whatsoever!!! AND, what's even more fabulous is that they don't irritate me at all!!! It burned just for a moment during the procedure, but the extra cumfy bed and the application of a small fan made all the pain go straight away!! The whole thing took less than an hour (I was late and she still managed to finish on time!) and my lashes look so great I don't even need to touch my mascara or my lash curler! I can just apply shadow and liner and my eyes look completely done! Or I don't have to wear any makeup at all and it still looks like my eyelashes are ready for the red carpet! Melika was so extremely gentle, efficient, and sweet, and my lashes look soooo extemely good, I seriously can't believe I've gone this long without ever even hearing of a "lift and tint" before, let alone trying it!!! She says the tint lasts a little less than a month or so, depending on how often you wet your lashes and the lift is supposed to last about 6 weeks! For all of you out there who can't get lash extensions for whatever the reason, I strongly recommend you give Melika's "lift and tint" a go!!! A++ for service, quality and vibe! I have gone to multiple lash ladies to do my lashes and honestly no one has put in to consideration all the reactions I have suffered from the glue as Melly has. She explained to me that, not the same glue can be used for every client due to their sensitivity and there are new glues that came out with so it's imperative that best they use the best glue based on their patients history.
