First, we had a great consulting session with her where she truly explained the entire process from start to finish. I am a dark skin African American female with stretchmarks from weight gain and surgical scars from weight loss. I went to Ink Scalp Goddess for help with scar camouflage. I am over 4 months out from treatment of the scars and stretchmarks on my upper and lower body, with tattoo needling with pigment. I still have some areas that have reddish/purplish bruising and the treated areas that are healed look the same with no improvements or changes. The stretchmarks and scars are still visible and the skin reverts back to its natural state overtime. Laura recommends at least 2 sessions which are $550 per hour, but I would not waste my time nor money for this service. During the session we went for 5 hours to thoroughly cover the areas of interest. The tattoo needling, pigments, and numbing cream over this length of time caused headache and body aches. This type of aggressive service should never be done for more than 2-3 hours to give the body and skin time to adjust and heal from the trauma and chemicals. My lesson learned is that stretchmarks are a scar and cannot be helped or healed with creams, potions, aggressive needling, or tattooing with pigment. Save your money and time there is no miracle cure. Stretchmarks and scars are our badge of courage showing we lived and survived our challenges and struggles on this earth, learn to love and live with them. But do not waste money on costly treatments, procedures, creams, or potions. read more

I had a hair transplantation scar towards the back of my head and I wanted to have the scar hidden. I didn't have a shaved head and I had short hair towards the back of my head where my scar was present. I went for an initial appointment to check if the micro pigmentation service can hide my scar - I was assured that my scar would be hidden with my hair just the way it is (short). After having 2 sessions done, my scar is still very visible and I was told that it would have made a difference if I shaved my head which is totally contrary to what was promised to me initially. If I was told at the outset that my hair would not have been suitable for the micro pigmentation service, I would have not gone ahead. After investing a lot of time and money. I feel very frustrated because of what was promised and what the end result was. read more
