Highly recommend! I own a clothing company and have used Ink Monkey for years for screenprinting and embroidery. They are great to communicate with, the pricing is fair and the staff does all the 'little things' that make life easier like organizing everything in order of size and color. If I'm being honest I've taken them for granted and realized it when I was forced to use someone else in a pinch while away from the area. Jason, Felicia, Dan and team make sure everything runs smoothly and communicate with me throughout the process. Use them, you won't be sorry! read more

Easy, friendly, local service. My kid's softball jersey needed name printed. Dropped off Tues, game on Sunday, and they got it back to me Friday afternoon. read more

A friend had recommended Ink Monkey to me after she got her graduation stole embroidered with them. I was very excited to get stoles embroidered for myself and my brother as it's a unique graduation gift. I was overall happy with Ink Monkey but I'm not sure I would go to them again. My biggest issue was when I went to pick up the stoles about 3 weeks after dropping them off, I noticed they had misspelled my name "Kaitlin". I had very clearly written out all the names and words to be embroidered on the stoles on the order form so it must have been an auto correct error but I'm not sure why there wasn't any review or check to make sure everything was spelled correctly. The lady working was nice when I immediately returned the stole and they had fixed the misspelling within the same day but I think you can clearly tell the name had to be fixed. I appreciate them fixing it quickly but with each stole costing about $50 to embroider--which is practically the cost of the stole itself--I would think there would be more care and diligence with their work. read more

The T-shirts I had custom-made were perfect great value great company very happy. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.

Definitely a small business to support in Davis. Good people. Talented people. This business has actively made their site safe for both staff and customers during this pandemic. Received a complimentary tote bag that was quickly taken from me by a co-worker- he loved the graphics so much that he literally took it from me. And he's a graphic artist. The only place to go in Davis for your graphic art needs! read more

HIGHLY recommend! I ordered on behalf of my daughter's elementary school and we were in a tight time-crunch for turnaround to ensure the kids got their shirts at their end of year ceremony. Though Jason was clear in his communication that they may not be able to meet the request, he ensured me that they would do their best. And they delivered! His team stayed late after hours to finish the shirts in time for the ceremony!!!! There were several mix-ups along the way on our part and Ink Monkey handled them with ease and professionalism. I will be hiring them again and encourage you to do the same :) Great quality product, excellent customer service, and supporting small business. Win-win-win! read more

Our Lodge utilized Ink Monkey for sweatshirts. I can not say enough about the quality of both the sweatshirts and work. After many months of wearing and laundry everything looks GREAT. Usually after a few washings even on delicate and air dry logos begin to lose their form. Not Ink Monkey work. I highly recommend Ink Monkey. read more

Jason and the team are awesome! They've been helpful have me a great quote and quick turnaround. We wouldn't hesitate to use their services again! read more

PROS: - nice, friendly staff - can work on a time constraint CONS: - super unprofessional - didn't give me a price quote until I called them back several times - almost didn't have my order on time (sounded like the forgot about it since the jacket was still a little damp when I picked it up) - messed up a Greek letter - sometimes they are so busy and understaffed, they don't attend to you in the office and I had to hand them a check and just walk out of the office without even getting acknowledged read more

Respectable business! I interned for a non-profit, student organization and asked local businesses in Davis for a discounted banner for our group and Ink Monkey was able to accommodate and make one for us for free! What a great way to support the community, as well as a non-profit student run organization! Banner was great quality too. I've also gotten t-shirts made by them for student groups and they were of high quality as well. =] read more

Wow! Where do I start? The whole process of ordering was so easy. I submitted my design to InkMonkey unsure they'd be able to replicate such an intricate design. Sure enough, they knocked it out of the park! The Tees look GREAT! The front desk person was absolutely wonderful. I believe her name started with an E. She was very receptive to my requests and updates on the project. When I picked up the T-shirts, she quickly retrieved my order and helped me move them to me car. I will definitely be sending more jobs to this company. I highly recommend you order from them! Thanks InkMonkey team! read more

I came here on the week of Valentines to get some numbers printed on a Tank that I was making for my housemate. At first I wasn't sure if they would do printing for just one shirt and how much it would cost. I sent an email over the weekend and got a prompt response on the following Monday, which was great. Although my order was really small and only cost around 2.50$ they were extremely quick to get it done for me a few days in advance of their estimate. They're very helpful, nice, and have great service. I would recommend this if you have a bulk order all the one to just one shirt! (The place is pretty easy to find, it's in its own area) My housemate loved the shirt as well, the numbers were great and stuck on extremely well! read more

Ink Monkey has been nothing but a consistently wonderful experience. I continue to go back to them for their promptness, professionalism, and creative design. And their employees are such a joy to work with. If you are a newbie to the design system, they will walk you through it all! 10/10 recommend. read more

We are still using ink Monkey. Should speak volumes considering it's been over 10 years. Keep up the great work and quality so it can be 10 more. read more

Excellent service! My fraternity brought in a design to get printed on a zip-up hoodie and everything turned out exactly as we hoped for. They have sample hoodies for you to try on in the store so you know exactly what size(s) to get. Their quoted finish time is also spot on. Prices are fair for what you get. This is definitely the place to visit if you need customized clothing, banners, or anything in between! read more

I called just to get a quote, and the girl was very unhelpful and extremely rude. I don't understand why they hire people if they don't want to help. Everytime I tried explaining to her what I wanted she would interupt me before I had a chance to explain- and she didn't even answer the questions I asked correctly- she had no clue what she was talking about. read more

We used Ink Monkey to make shirts for our team when we did the Spartan Race. They did design for us and printed on shirts they supplied and also some custom shirts that weren't available in their catalog. Everything was awesome, from the design assistance to the quality of the printing and the shirts. We had a team that looked great and was super excited to have the shirts. Thank you, Ink Monkey. read more

I don't know what all of these negative reviews are about, because the service I got was superb. Maybe there was a past staff member that wasn't too helpful but then got fired because everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly and helpful. I came in on Friday, June 1st trying to get a quote for shirts that I wanted to be done for my team before everyone was done with finals on the 13th (yes, I know, I procrastinated a bit, FYI a regular production time for them would be 2 weeks). I met with the owner and he gave me a quote for the shirts I wanted, and said to email him with sizes and design ideas. Well, I was a complete pain and sent him email after email asking questions, all of which he patiently and quickly replied to. He said that if I could get him the finalized sizes by Monday they would be able to get the shirts done by the 13th. I sent him multiple "final" sizes emails that Sunday night, even adding a shirt on Monday after he sent me the quote/workorder. To complicate things even further, I was getting an order with both tanks and tees, and one youth sized shirt as well. They counted the tanks and tees all within the same bulk order so I got one large bulk discount, with only one setup fee for them all together - a feat that is unheard of with online-made custom shirts. I had also originally told them I was probably ordering around 35 shirts total, but then ended up ordering 70! I got an email on Thursday with the design made by their graphic designer, and I loved it. I had a couple changes in the wording that I sent him, of which he did immediately and sent me back a perfect final copy. Then, to top it all off, they got my shirts done a day early for me! Not only is everyone at Ink Monkey incredibly helpful, but they also have a great assortment of colors, styles, and brands of tanks and tees, and don't charge you an arm and a leg. For the same thing I would have gotten on customink.com for over $20, I got for less than $15 at Ink Monkey and was able to support a local business. I can't wait to order more shirts for my team from them in the coming years! read more

Ink Monkey not only offers high quality design and apparel but excellent customer service! Loved using this place! Went in with an order for 16 shirts for houseboats after much price comparing. Was a little worried that they wouldn't be able to capture our strange t-shirt design (a seahorse with laser beams shooting out of it's eyes) but the final template they made came out so well! All the staff that we worked with was super helpful in answering our questions about quality of shirts, price differences in screen prints and so on. They gave us a 2 week estimate for when they ready, but they were done 2 days before expected! If I ever decide to do something similar, definitely going to use this place. read more

I have been using Ink Monkey for the last few years as we get t-shirts for our Non-Profit through them. They ROCK. They can take my first grade artwork and create exactly what I was envisioning in my head. They are always prompt, courteous, along with great artwork and fair pricing. I couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

As the other reviewer stated, the person that I talked to on the phone was very rude and unhelpful. I did decide to go in anyway and see what they were all about since the phone call got me nowhere. I'm gald I went in. They were able to do what I needed, the price was reasonable and they even got my order done ahead of schedule. It would be 5 stars if not for the RUDE receptionist, I can't stand apathetic, condescending customer service people. read more

Ink Monkey does a lot of printing for our organization. I feel that they work hard to give us a great price and always have the job done well ahead of their estimated schedule. In addition they are a great addition to the community because they have donated parties to our non profits yearly auction! Great business and friendly staff. read more

We print large jobs here for our special events and they have always done a great job. They are really good about labeling the boxes which i really appreciate. Our old printers didnt, and when you have 75 boxes of shirts, all different sizes/type, it becomes really important. Highly recommend! read more

I went to Ink Monkey extremely last minute for a project and they were phenomenal! I was very stressed about my shirts not arriving in time, but they did and looked amazing! I really like the the graphic designers at Ink Monkey send you a proof of your design (and help improve it), before going to print. I got an incredible deal for a great price! Highly recommend! went in to get printing on some shirts that i had bought previously. i went in and told them what i wanted and placed my order. it was two shirts and i wanted 1 word and 1 number on each. at the end my total came out to $75 dollars.. it came out looking as expected but definitely not worth even half of the price they charged. i would've been way better off ordering online or even doing it myself. read more

I was really disappointed with Ink Monkey. I wanted to use a local company, and their prices were fair. I called two weeks (ten business days) to see if I could have shirts made for my sister's 30th birthday. I was assured that the shirts would be ready by the Friday 10 days later, at 4pm. There were frequent miscommunications, and what I asked to be printed on the shirt was not there for the first preview. I emailed them the Thursday before they were to be due, and no one responded. I called on the Friday, to make sure I could pick them up at 4pm at the latest as I had a flight to catch. I was told they should be ready by then, and they would call when the shirts were ready. When I arrived at the store at 4:05pm on Friday, (still no call) I was told he was "just finishing them up." This turned into a half hour of the run-around, as Erin at the front desk shuffled back and forth to the back, telling me they would be ready, "in a few minutes." When I received them, it seemed that they have made an error, putting the words that were meant to be on the back of the shirt on the front, and then removed, leaving a shadow of what was then placed on the back. I was very frustrated and Erin did not care. Horrible customer service. I will not be using them again. read more
