A friend had recommended Ink Monkey to me after she got her graduation stole embroidered with them. I was very excited to get stoles embroidered for myself and my brother as it's a unique graduation gift. I was overall happy with Ink Monkey but I'm not sure I would go to them again. My biggest issue was when I went to pick up the stoles about 3 weeks after dropping them off, I noticed they had misspelled my name "Kaitlin". I had very clearly written out all the names and words to be embroidered on the stoles on the order form so it must have been an auto correct error but I'm not sure why there wasn't any review or check to make sure everything was spelled correctly. The lady working was nice when I immediately returned the stole and they had fixed the misspelling within the same day but I think you can clearly tell the name had to be fixed. I appreciate them fixing it quickly but with each stole costing about $50 to embroider--which is practically the cost of the stole itself--I would think there would be more care and diligence with their work. read more

Our Lodge utilized Ink Monkey for sweatshirts. I can not say enough about the quality of both the sweatshirts and work. After many months of wearing and laundry everything looks GREAT. I came here on the week of Valentines to get some numbers printed on a Tank that I was making for my housemate. At first I wasn't sure if they would do printing for just one shirt and how much it would cost. I sent an email over the weekend and got a prompt response on the following Monday, which was great. Although my order was really small and only cost around 2.50$ they were extremely quick to get it done for me a few days in advance of their estimate. They're very helpful, nice, and have great service. I would recommend this if you have a bulk order all the one to just one shirt! (The place is pretty easy to find, it's in its own area) My housemate loved the shirt as well, the numbers were great and stuck on extremely well! read more

I don't know what all of these negative reviews are about, because the service I got was superb. Maybe there was a past staff member that wasn't too helpful but then got fired because everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly and helpful. I came in on Friday, June 1st trying to get a quote for shirts that I wanted to be done for my team before everyone was done with finals on the 13th (yes, I know, I procrastinated a bit, FYI a regular production time for them would be 2 weeks). I met with the owner and he gave me a quote for the shirts I wanted, and said to email him with sizes and design ideas. Well, I was a complete pain and sent him email after email asking questions, all of which he patiently and quickly replied to. He said that if I could get him the finalized sizes by Monday they would be able to get the shirts done by the 13th. I sent him multiple "final" sizes emails that Sunday night, even adding a shirt on Monday after he sent me the quote/workorder. To complicate things even further, I was getting an order with both tanks and tees, and one youth sized shirt as well. They counted the tanks and tees all within the same bulk order so I got one large bulk discount, with only one setup fee for them all together - a feat that is unheard of with online-made custom shirts. I had also originally told them I was probably ordering around 35 shirts total, but then ended up ordering 70! I got an email on Thursday with the design made by their graphic designer, and I loved it. I had a couple changes in the wording that I sent him, of which he did immediately and sent me back a perfect final copy. Then, to top it all off, they got my shirts done a day early for me! Not only is everyone at Ink Monkey incredibly helpful, but they also have a great assortment of colors, styles, and brands of tanks and tees, and don't charge you an arm and a leg. For the same thing I would have gotten on customink.com for over $20, I got for less than $15 at Ink Monkey and was able to support a local business. I can't wait to order more shirts for my team from them in the coming years! read more

Loved using this place! Went in with an order for 16 shirts for houseboats after much price comparing. Was a little worried that they wouldn't be able to capture our strange t-shirt design (a seahorse with laser beams shooting out of it's eyes) but the final template they made came out so well! All the staff that we worked with was super helpful in answering our questions about quality of shirts, price differences in screen prints and so on. They gave us a 2 week estimate for when they ready, but they were done 2 days before expected! If I ever decide to do something similar, definitely going to use this place. read more

went in to get printing on some shirts that i had bought previously. i went in and told them what i wanted and placed my order. it was two shirts and i wanted 1 word and 1 number on each. at the end my total came out to $75 dollars.. it came out looking as expected but definitely not worth even half of the price they charged. i would've been way better off ordering online or even doing it myself. read more

I was really disappointed with Ink Monkey. I wanted to use a local company, and their prices were fair. I called two weeks (ten business days) to see if I could have shirts made for my sister's 30th birthday. I was assured that the shirts would be ready by the Friday 10 days later, at 4pm. There were frequent miscommunications, and what I asked to be printed on the shirt was not there for the first preview. I emailed them the Thursday before they were to be due, and no one responded. I called on the Friday, to make sure I could pick them up at 4pm at the latest as I had a flight to catch. I was told they should be ready by then, and they would call when the shirts were ready. When I arrived at the store at 4:05pm on Friday, (still no call) I was told he was "just finishing them up." This turned into a half hour of the run-around, as Erin at the front desk shuffled back and forth to the back, telling me they would be ready, "in a few minutes." When I received them, it seemed that they have made an error, putting the words that were meant to be on the back of the shirt on the front, and then removed, leaving a shadow of what was then placed on the back. I was very frustrated and Erin did not care. Horrible customer service. I will not be using them again. read more
