I went to have my jewelry changed out for a cartilage piercing I got at another shop, the girl there seemed super nice but she looked a bit young. I had asked her twice before she changed my jewelry how old she was and she ignored me. Well once she went to change it out it hurt way more than when I first got my cartilage pierced. I was so confused on why it hurt so bad but it turns out she made a whole new hole in the back of my ear. So instead of putting the hoop through the already made hole she shoved it through the skin. DO NOT GO HERE. It was the absolute worst experience and now my piercing is infected and I'm still in a lot of pain after a week. read more

The first time I came here it was great. Although, I had to come back to get my piercing done at 11pm after work since they dont do appointments. Next time I came I wanted help changing my jewelry & was told I needed to wait longer. My labret piercing later came out and I came in the next day around 3 and was told their piercer wouldn't come in until 5. I wanted to get a nose piercing to make up for my lost lip piercing since I decided that I wouldn't put it back in. They had told me, and we asked multiple times, when a good time to come in would be. One lady said "Sunday we are pretty busy, but if you come in right at 3 we can pierce you." We confirmed that was ok. Sunday comes, we make the 25 minute drive to the shop and as soon as we walk in are told that the piercer will not be there until 5. Immediately walked out. Chelsea has done at least eight piercings and her work of art is impeccable. I came from American Tattoo on I45 and the piercer did two forward helix piercings that were so crooked and never healed right. Chelsea took a look and told me the guy should've told me I didn't have enough room for 3. Chelsea took them out for me and since then I've never looked back. this is normally my go to shop but today I had a bad experience. i came in for a Friday 13th tattoo, a basic hamsa design with a 13 in the middle of it. i got the artist ellie who had to go over my tattoo multiple times because the line kept coming out uneven and now the line work is messy, on top of putting the 13 mirrored and upside down. this is my first visible tattoo and now it's ruined, very upsetting and will not be getting any other work done by her. read more

I was immediately greeted when I entered. The whole staff were pleasant and friendly. The place was clean and open. Got a tattoo from Chris. He did a great job. He listened and exchanged ideals with me to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. In the middle of my session the manger called all the staff to the back for a safety meeting. It only took about five minutes and Chris said he does them all the time. It's to keep issues like sanitation and customer care a top priority. I appreciated that. It showed that they take pride in their company and craft. My wife and I both got great tattoos for a very reasonable price. I've been wanting to get a tattoo and discovered this place from a friend. I walked in and was immediately greeted and given paperwork (short). I was nervous about getting someone to freehand on me, but I showed him a picture and he made it perfect! The process was short and relatively pain free and my tattoo artist was so fun to be around. The shop only takes cash so keep that in mind. This tattoo was $120 which is not too bad for a tattoo this size and the amount of detail. I was looking for decently priced tattoos and I knew that two of my friends had recently received tattoos from this place so I asked them about it. They both hated their tattoo, but I was still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. So, they gave me the artist's Instagram that they went to and I contacted him. Darnell. I asked about prices and he gave them to me without any problems, but something seemed off so I got my tattoos done at another place. Two weeks later Darnell randomly messages me asking when I was coming in and I informed him that I was just asking for prices and hadn't plan on coming anymore. He then told me, word per word, "Price shopping is what broke bitches do" and then blocked me. Real mature, good thing I trusted my gut feeling. Darnell is absolutely the worst and would NOT recommend anyone to him. Chelsea was amazing though! She did my nose piercing and was super sweet about it. Love her so much! Took a friend in to get her neep nops* pierced and was offered a Halloween Special of $40 for both! Once upon a time I spent $120 for another friends neep nops*, and $70 for my own so $40 was such a good deal that I was a bit wary -- but the man behind the counter greeted us enthusiastically and the shop was very lively, bright, organized and clean looking. The piercing is done in a small booth with a curtain in the middle of the store in a small booth with a curtain. Chelsea went through the different jewelry and explained why she suggests the full ring as starters. When the time came for me to step away, Chelsea asked if I wanted to stay and my friend opted yes for extra support. The first was pierced quick and easy. My friend was allowed a short breather and was then the chair turned for Chelsea to pierce the other. The second neep nop* caused a black out. I was asked to hold my friends shoulders for the quick second it took for the piercing needle to be removed, and then Chelsea used rubbing alcohol to wake the sleeping beauty. I was impressed with how professional and FRIENDLY Chelsea was during this incident. She calmly let my friend know where she was and what was going on, pointed out that I was there, let her lay down for as long as she needed to (no one in line behind us waiting), and even grabbed some Skittles for her to munch on! Once my friend was feeling better, Chelsea made her laugh by telling her some of the other situations she has witnessed as a piercer -- using no names of course. Bonnie does good art with bold colors and is very laid back and made me feel very comfortable. The store looked clean, and in the end everything healed up beautifully. My advice though is that Bonnie (not sure about any other artist) seems to get scheduled back to back so you might have to wait 15 minutes for her to finish up with a previous client, or get your tattoo done in multiple short sessions. read more

I had an appointment with Darnell for 4 family members in town for Christmas. I text with him for two days. Including the day of the appointment. My family and I showed up 5 minutes before our appointment and set there for 40 minutes before realizing that Darnell had taken two other walk ins before us. When I walked back to say something about this he said that I never left a deposit (which he never asked for in all of our texts) and it walk in only. He set an appointment with me. I have all of the texts. He was so unprofessional and rude. I don't know any of the other artist there but I would stay away from Darnell. read more

We attempted to set an appointment through phone, leaving a message for the artist. After no response, we stopped in to speak to a person. We were given information to the effect that we could email directly or stop in for a first come, first serve, shot at whoever opened up. So, we tried email and were brushed off, so we stopped in again, early in the evening, being a first come...but ultimately not a first served. When we arrived the only people ahead of us (as explained to us by staff) were the people that were currently being served by the staff. Then a group came in 25 minutes after us. When an artist freed up, we heard him say, "Their work will take to long and I don't want to stay that late"... he brushed us off and walked over to the group that came in after us. We continued to give the benefit of the doubt, so after more waiting, we were brushed off and asked to drive to another location that was a 20 minute drive from where we started, and that an artist would be available within 30 minutes. Once we got to the shop, we were asked if we were sent over by the other shop, and we answered yes. We were told to have a seat and the artist would be with us soon... we waited and then (another 30 minutes later) overheard someone on the phone talking to the original shop, who then walked out and yelled to ask if anyone had came from the other shop... I answered yes, again. We were then told that, no he wasn't available after all and would be doing a tattoo before getting to us... We waited for a bit and decided that we didn't want to give our money to a group which couldn't seem to get it together. I didn't feel comfortable getting something permanent on my body from someone who was the brush off of the brush off of the brush off. We ended up totaling just over 3 hours of waiting, 5 people who couldn't find the time to keep us there, and 0 tattoos. Sure, you have a few good artists, but that doesn't matter when you alienate customers. Incredibly disappointed. read more

I'm paying for a service, so you might want to refrain from rolling your eyes and letting out loud sighs when you had correct the design. I had an appointment and waited over an hour for your highness to come up with something descent. He knew what I wanted and could've prepared, but chose not to. Tattoos are kind of PERMANENT so yes I want to make sure it's perfect. Especially when all you had to do is copy a stencil. I'm sure there are other good artists at this shop, who know how to interact with customers and can provide a pleasant experience.
