honestly I'm not sure why demon ink doesn't have good reviews, I went in on a Thursday night for a smiley piercing and the place was super clean. the girl who did my piercing was super sweet and gentle. even gave me after care instructions and told me I could go back to change the jewelry when I wanted! Eric James is gifted. He's a fantastic dark arts artist and he's real. Unfortunately after investing $2k in a sleeve, which was wicked fabulous, he ghosted my appointment over 6 times. Constant rescheduling. Typically I would get notified by Eric while sitting in his parking lot at the start time of the appointment. His customer service is beyond poor. I understand that artists are quirky but working with Eric is not recommended. Too much trouble. I'm going to find another artist to finish the piece. I wish Eric the best, hope he overcomes his addictions and eventually grows up to realize his full artistic potential. He could really become something special. read more

I was so excited to get my belly button pierced on my 18th bday. And I went here because my sister always goes here for piercings. So first off the front desk lady tells me to fill out the paper and leaves and when she comes back I notify her thAt I don't have an ID with me but I had other forms of identification. She snatched the paper from the clipboard and says, "well you can't get a piercing" in a snarky tone. I understood that I couldn't get a piercIng without an ID but she could of been nicer about the situation , considering it's my first time getting a piercing and my birthday lol. Awesome artwork, sub-par personalities. I've heard and seen great things about Demon Ink and it's artist. Followed them on facebook and instagram. JP and Eric are absolutely amazing. One day they post up on their facebook "'free' pink ribbon tattoos" for breast cancer awareness month. (backstory: my wife's mother passed away from breast cancer. I thought this would be meaningful for her, plus get us an opportunity to check out the shop.) Her and her sister both go in and want to get their "free" tattoos. First they look annoyed at us. Then they say they'll do them but it's a $20 tip. Which is fine no problem but they shouldn't advertise as free if you expect a $20 tip. Just put that in your facebook post. Matt (I don't believe he is at the shop anymore) does my wife's tattoo and it looks good. No problems. The problem I have happens while I'm just chilling at the shop waiting to on my wife and sister-in-law to finish up. One of the other tattoo artist is complaining to a group of 2 other artist about the "free" breast cancer tattoos. He states that someone called in to inquire about the free tatoos and how he though they wanted some actual "art" not some "fucking shitty breast cancer tattoo". And continues to say "I came in to do art ya know?" Artist are entitled to their opinion all day long, but to say that while people are getting this done is just beyond me. Also don't post it on your facebook if you have a problem with it. No one would go in for those tattoos if you didn't post them. Now fast forward some time. Friday the 13th. I missed one last year and wanted to get some simple ones done this year. Well Madi (sp?) post some flash on the Demon Ink facebook for Friday the 13th with walk-ins available etc. There was a The Raven bart, from The Simpsons, which looked like a micro tat which I thought would be really awesome to get as it actually means so much to me. So I stroll in there only to be told that he's not doing walk-ins even though the facebook post states otherwise. Try again a week later because again it's something I really want at this point, don't care about the special Friday the 13th pricing any longer, I just want the tattoo. Finally get a hold of Madi. He says to come in the next Friday before 6pm and he'll be able to do it. Great! Walk in and the first thing he says is "so I was thinking, since I've already done this one before I don't want to do it again, here's some other tree house of horrors things I could do." None of which I wanted. Also proceeds to tell me about my "terrible placement" for the tattoo I came to get. I'm the paying customer here and I can't get what I want? This is some bullshit. I respect the artist wishes though as he states over and over how he never does the same tattoo twice. We almost come to an agreement as I find another piece I want but again he does not want to not include the raven on the piece as it "won't look good". In the end I walked out there is no way I'm paying any amount of money for a tattoo I DON'T want. I might give this place another chance as Eric has done some work I'm really impressed with. Hopefully when I go back this won't be the case. read more

i got my nose pierced from here and it was great till i got a keloid and had to take it out when i got my piercing that day they didn't ask for my ID even tho i had it which was weird because normal that's what they do so i called after i took my nose ring out to see if i could get another one without my ID again because is in the mail because i lost it the manger catches an attitude with me and told me i couldn't get it with out my ID she doesn't care what happened last time that's not her problem and i just find that very unprofessional in my opinion read more

This is the place to go to get work done. JP is an amazing artist. Working on my first half sleeve now and starting on my second as soon as it's done. This place is the worst I been here twice (once 2 gt the piercing) and once 2 gt it changed out with another ring. The person answered the phone last wk, being very short with me and gv me the wrong hrs (saying the piercer would b in Sun 12p-8p). Well they are actually closed that day. He rushed me off the phone. So I come in today and the piercer was just as rude as the 1st time I came. I told her another piercer informed me I had a keloid inside my nose. Her reply (as she cute off): u don't! so she took out my nose ring rough asf and had my shyt bleeding she was huffing and puffing the whole time like I was bothering her. I was asking her questions about gauge size and she was looking annoying and answering dry asf. I took my shyt and gt tf outta there. I will not b bak. She slammed her and everything. I can't imagine how they keep customers. Maybe its a black thing every1 on there didn't bother speaking when I walked in, then she come from the back acting like a bitch looking/talking as if she doesn't want 2 even b at work. Very great artisits at this location the only thing that it is lacking is professionalism(in business).They are so good at what they do and they get so much respect for their art that they sometimes have a lack of respect for their customers. If you have a passion for what you are doing and you do it well dont let it get to your head. Prefessonals are great artists who show up ontime for appointments and give reasonable prices for what they give you. Many tattoo artist overcharge their work and that is why they lose customers. I came here thinking i could get work done pretty quickly since i noticed how well these people work but when it came down to it they started lagging and milking me for my money. I dont appreciate that kind of work at all. Give it a try though and see for yourself how you like it. read more
