Ben at Reel Piercing is the absolute best! He has done all of our piercings for over 6 years and we wouldn't go to anyone else. We will follow him wherever he goes. He's kind, professional and super cool. I have 3 daughters (22, 18 and 16) and he has done all of their piercings over the years and they refuse to go to anyone else. There's never an issue with the piercings, they always heal quickly and perfectly, he calms their nerves if they have any questions or nervousness, and we always look forward to the next visit. We definitely have the best and raddest piercer in Houston. Biolab legitimately lost the best piercer they've ever had. My 11 year old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced. I was nervous and wanted to make sure she got the best care. I didn't want her be pierced by a gun so I searched for piercers in our area. After seeing reviews here on Yelp, I decided to go to Ben at Reel Piercing. I'm so glad I did. My daughter was really anxious so I decided to get a helix cartilage piercing and went first. Ben took the time to explain the process of both our piercings, work with us on deciding perfect placement and made sure to answer any questions we had. He's so chill and calm that it makes you feel more calm too. My mom got my ears pierced when I was a baby so I wasn't sure how much this would hurt! Luckily it wasn't near as bad as I expected! My daughter felt the same way about hers lol. Ben was very gentle and explained everything he was doing every step of the way. He made us feel more at ease. Afterwards, he asked us how we were feeling and if we were ok. Lastly, he thoroughly explained aftercare and the healing process. He also texted us the cleaning instructions and what soap to use. Before we left he surprised my daughter with a balloon he made from a glove. So nice. She still talks about that. I appreciate that he goes the extra mile and takes time. Even though other people were waiting in line. Its rare nowadays! It's been 5 weeks since our piercings and things are going great! Over the course of our healing process so far I had to reach out a couple times with questions. I decided to try texting and he was kind enough to take the time to answer them and make sure I understood what he was explaining. My sister and niece took me to get a new piercing for my birthday with Ben! Ben is amazing, and I had received two piercings from him the last time I visited Houston from my home in LA. I shared with Ben that 2 piercings I had received from a different location were not healing well. He explained that the person who did those piercings did not sell me the most ideal earrings to promote timely healing without infections.
