-------Don't go to this Shop-------- I went to this shop Monday at 7 and Chris was working here. The shop was empty, no customers. We discussed a tattoo, priced it and he started setting up. I went to get cash from the atm and when I got back he turned mean and told me he was tattooing someone else. This shop is dishonest and deceitful. I'm not the type of person to write poor reviews for the smallest things. It takes a LOT to have me take the time out of my day to write out a complaint. This was just ridiculous. I went in at about 3pm to get a tattoo where my collarbones meet (about 2x5 inches). Darnell was busy with another customer when I walked in, but as he said, it was only a balloon with a name in it and it should be done in ten minutes. I waited an hour before he even began to draw it. The tattoo wasn't finished until 6:30, so it took about 3 and a half hours to get done when hardly any people were in the shop. The only thing I must say in his defense in regards to this was that I did leave to fulfill a promise I had made prior to a family member, and this took an hour. When you subtract that out, I still waited 2 1/2 hours for what should've been a 45 minute tattoo tops. When he finally had the drawing for the tattoo done, he placed it on my chest which is perfectly normal because he had to see if it would fit. Darnell is much taller than me, so it was hard for him to move down to my height. Understandable. Except the way in which he pushed out his pelvic bone into my crotch area definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I chose to ignore it, and I waited patiently for him to finish with the customer who came in while I was gone. As we began the tattoo, I began to take notice to more and more extremely inappropriate comments of Darnell's. To name a few, he told me that the woman he'd tattooed before me was filthy (ironically he himself smelled like sonic), pointed out my peach fuzz (rude), said I was a pretty pink white girl his favorite type, and said I had a little boy body. Throughout the tattoo, he conversed freely with his coworkers about his sexual experiences and erections. His coworkers also used homophobic slurs back and forth. Apart from his inappropriate verbal expressions, he also did some physical things while tattooing me that I found completely unprofessional. Of the most benign, he shined the LED light directly into my eyes only to move it because HE didn't like it in HIS eyes. He also used excessive force while tattooing me, pressing down so hard on my chest that I had trouble breathing (I have a small rib cage, expressed discomfort several tomes only to be ignored). He pressed down roughly on my chest while also pulling the skin tight as he tattooed me, leaving me with a burn mark. During and after, he cleaned the excess ink off a bit too enthusiastically, taking the cleaner down onto and in between my breasts because he "didn't want to stain me." Even if the ink stained me, it would've only lasted a day or two and there was no reason for him to touch my private area at all, let alone my nipples. And on top of all of this, when I asked if he'd like payment right then (I didn't know if there was a cash register I had to go to or if there was some professional way to do this bc it's different everywhere), he very condescendingly said, "Yes, young lady. I do this for the money, not the pleasure." Not only this, but as I left I heard one of the other men make fun of the way I said bye as I left. The only good thing I can say about this experience was he did a good job on the tattoo. But with all the ways I was treated poorly, it's not worth it. I've told all of my friends not to come here. You shouldn't either, especially if you're a woman going alone. read more

I've been wanting to get a tattoo for years now! But I'm so picky it was hard to find something I liked. I finally picked out the perfect tattoo and went to ink injections to ask Paul if he'd do my tattoo since I'm very comfortable with this artist! Unfortunately he doesn't do color so he passed me off to Christian. I asked Christian about doing my tattoo and I told him I have the imagine this is what I want! I was so excited. Then Christian says well that's cool but I'm going to change it up and make it look different with my style (I was going to color the tattoo and make it different then the original photo but I didn't want any editing to the viper as I like it's look). I was confused and asked what he meant. My tattoo that I wanted was a realistic drawing of a squam viper since I work with venomous snakes and I really wanted it to look anatomically correct. He said well I want to throw my own style on it and proceeded to show me cartoon like tattoos he'd drawn. I didn't want a cartoon style piece. I wanted it to be realistic like the drawing I brought in. Then he said he wanted to change the color to a different color. Excuse me?! I told you what I wanted and your flat out ignoring me and trying to make it look like a totally different tattoo. This is not your tattoo that you have to look at and live with for the rest of your life! It was so frustrating! He didn't listen to anything I said and it was a fight to get him to want to do my artwork. Finally he asks for a deposit to start drawing it up and at this point I didn't trust a word he said about how he's going to give me a great tattoo. It would probably have been a completely different nightmare of a tattoo. I was so upset and frustrated and I'm not easily angered but this guy was ridiculous. I decided I had enough of this guy and told him I honestly didn't like his artwork or his style. On his Instagram there were about 10 good pieces of artwork out of 80! That was a huge red flag for me! I was so upset and this guy argued with me so much that I had to literally just walk out of the shop in tears! I was ready to get my tattoo that day as it was my birthday and I really wanted it. Way to not only make a client walk out the door that was really wanting and excited about a tattoo but you also made me uncomfortable and upset. Definitely DO NOT go to Christian. read more

Very rude and unprofessional. And I didn't even get the damn tattoo yet! My friend and I came in for pricing, and to see one artist in particular, but they kept trying to force another artist on us because he wasn't there. (They put Darnell on us, which turns out he's a creep based on other reviews here. Probably wasn't interested because we weren't super pretty female clients he could grope) When we were describing our tattoos we wanted, they just looked at us like we were stupid the entire time. Condescending to the point I felt embarrassed enough to leave. We clearly had other tattoos visible on our bodies, but they talked to us like we had absolutely zero knowledge of tattoos. They didn't even listen to what we wanted in its entirety before they started just naming off random prices to us. Tried convincing us the tatts we wanted had to be really ridiculously BIG in order to have the detail we wanted. Which isn't true at all, I KNOW. It just seemed like they wanted to get the most money out of us possible. Said we couldn't do the tattos in sessions, saying he only does them in ONE session. (just wants $500-&600 all at once, more like. and that's from EACH of us, not all together) Tried saying e-mails/texts were too hard and in-person consultation was easier. We left and went to another shop which treated us MUCH nicer, and attentively. They even offered for us to send as many references as we wanted via text. So what was that again how e-mail and text is too hard? Humble yourselves please. Try treating your clients like human beings if you actually want them to come back or bring new clients to you. But integrity doesn't seem like something that's important to this shop. read more

I've been here a few times, I've had a couple tattoos done at this shop, and I've accompanied a few different people here. Every time the staff has been extremely unprofessional. And I don't mean the excessive cursing or topics of conversation, I mean, it's a tattoo shop. The way this place is run, as a business, is sloppy. I should've never been back after my first trip here. But alas, I got another tattoo. I don't remember the guys name who tattooed me, but the work was shoddy. I haven't set foot in this shop for like 8 years, but my normal shop for piercings, Skin Stories, recommended them after they couldn't do nipple piercings. It took a moment to get greeted and set up, but they were pretty busy for a Tuesday. I met Chelsea who is one of their resident piercers and also a complete no-fucks-given badass. She explained everything and went step by step what was going to happen. A flowing, ruby curtain is closed and clamped shut for privacy. She double checked what jewelry size l'd need and that it was going to be straight (more than just the 'ehhhh this should be right' eyeball). Chelsea did it quick without building it up into a big ordeal. Suddenly it was done, no fuss, honestly my nose piercing hurt more. She even offered to change my jewelry out for free (wether I brought my own or bought something from the shop) whenever literally for the rest of my life. The whole process (including waiting) tooook maybe 15 minutes. It was a great deal, professionally done, and I'm a happy camper. Thank you Chelsea!!! I came up with my sister and some friends to get a second lobe piercing. Autymn did all of our piercings and was super helpful and patient with all of us. She walked us through everything that she was doing and made the whole process so easy. Would definitely recommend coming here for piercings! Lobe piercings were $30. read more

After reviewing some of the comments on yelp, I decided to check this place out and I must say I was totally satisfied with everything, from the time I walked in the door. I'm kind of a germiphobe so I scoped out the place, and I was pleased with the cleanliness here. I came here to get a nose piercing, and from the time I met Chelsea "the best piercer ever" she was so friendly, welcoming, and professional.. She saw I was nervous and she immediately talked to me about the process and made me feel extra comfortable, which was very appreciative, being that I chickened out a few times at other places, but I went through it and I absolutely love it. Don't waste your time here. I have known of this place for years and plenty of my friends have had great tattoos from here. After our experience, I was embarrassed for even bringing it up. I recommended this place to my boyfriend and friends and when we arrived it was fairly early in the night. Our friend had one tattoo in mind, a simple butterfly on his hand. We were greeted by the skinny black dude at the door after sitting down for a couple minutes. We waited for one hour on an artist before they could start on his tattoo and after filling out the application, spoke with the black dude again and i noticed his attitude was turning sour as my friend would again reference the minimalistic butterfly pic he wanted on his hand. Our friend really had that specific pic in mind. They would come back with reference pics that looked nothing like the picture he showed them. This happened for about three times until I noticed our friend was becoming uncomfortable as both the artist and the greeter would tell him there are thousands of butterfly designs and he needed to be specific, but he had a damn pic of it that he had showed them....we ended up just leaving with no tattoos but the fact that they would make him feel stupid or annoying is ridiculous. Never recommending this place again!! read more

Worst experience went in for a consultation with Christian oropeza , when I went he was tattooing someone so didn't even give us his full attention. Regardless I still made an appointment for 3 weeks later. Went in on my appointment date and time to find out he wasn't even working there that day he was at the other location- which he never stated there was another location. We called him and he "forgot" about my appointment! We had to make the drive to the other location to get my deposit back! What an unprofessional/ unorganized guy! read more

Called to check when Bonnie would be in and got the information in a swift fashion. Went in to do a consultation and set an appointment for a week later. The communication would be the only area I'd say my experience could of used more of, as far as seeing the custom drawing before the appointment. Other than that, great work, great price. Hate how the only way you can get any info on prices or even try to set up an appointment. With an tattoo artist is if you go to the shop in person. Ever time I call they never pick up. No matter if it's at 2pm an hr after their open or even around 9pm when you know their starting to get busy. This place is run VERY unprofessionally! My daughter wanted to get her cartilage pierced. We called the day we were going and were told that Chelsea (the piercer) would be in at 4:30. We made a 2nd call to make sure they used a needle vs. gun for the cartilage piercing. We got there around 4:45 and were told that she had stepped out and would be back in 30-45 minutes. We left and returned about 30 minutes later. After waiting 15-20 minutes, we inquired about when she would be there. It was only then that someone decided to call her. Oh, now another 30 minutes! Once she arrived, we were told that my 17 year old daughter with a driver's license, with me as her biological parent and same last name, would need her birth certificate!!!!! Sooooo, over 2.5 hours later, we left with no cartilage piercing..... NEVER DID ANYONE MENTION IN OUR 2 CALLS ANYTHING ABOUT A BIRTH CERTIFICATE, NOR WOULD THEY ACCEPT AN APPOINTMENT WHEN WE ASKED! read more
