Chicacrron de cerdo

Ingrid's is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the Hudson Valley. The staff are always friendly and the food is so fresh. I've never had anything there I didn't love. Nothing is overly salted or under done. I recommend the passion fruit juice for the warm summer days. You've got to make a stop in here

Chicharrones w/white rice and beans and yuca fries.

First timer at this restaurant and not sure if I will return. Chicharrones was lacking flavor and a bit dried. Yuca fries were good but overall, not happy. A bit pricey, too... I do wish them my best in their new establishment.

Delicious empanadas and kípe with dipping sauce. FANTASTIC!!

It's a very casual, cafeteria-style spot with a semi-open kitchen, but don't let the simplicity fool you -- the food is incredible and the staff here is friendly and patient. The highlight of the experience is the small buffet that features a variety of freshly-made Latin cuisine -- including pulled pork, chicken and beef stews, and other traditional Latin entrees and sides. You can build your own plate by selecting one or more entrees and sides - which are priced accordingly. As a 'gringo' who wasn't entirely sure what everything was, I really appreciated them taking the extra time to explain all the different options and give me their honest recommendations. The counterstaff is bilingual and were pretty patient with my elementary school level Spanish vocabulary and grammar. I ended up going with the pulled pork platter with two sides ($7) and it was terrific -- the perfectly seasoned and tender pork, black beans and rice, and macaroni salad were delicious and very filling. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the portions are very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic, home-style Latino food in a laid-back setting, this is the spot! PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Sazon Latino is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: Sazon Latino offers free off-street parking in a small lot behind the restaurant and there's plenty of free on-street parking on Main Street.

Empanadas are still good and the other items available might have been sitting since the morning. The inside it super dark and I thought it was closed at first, Overall, it's an ok Noches, just not busy like the other locations I go to so the freshnesses seemed to take a hit.

When the waiter finally came over, he said he just needed a few more minutes and would be with us shortly. The 2 other guests in our party arrived, and that's when the waiter came over to take our order. As we started giving him our appetizer order, we noticed he wasn't writing anything down. We knew our order would be incorrect; and it was. We ordered 1 chicken empanada, 1 beef empanada, and tostones. When they brought them to the table, we noticed there were 2 beef empanada, no chicken. Taste was bland, definitely missing something. Tostones were DELICIOUS. We ordered 2 diet cokes and a regular coke. I do like that they bring out the entire can of Diet Coke and the glass bottle of regular coke. It isn't fountain soda! Entree order: three of us ordered steaks, and one of us ordered the frijolada. The frijolada was good. I ordered my steak medium and that was a BIG mistake. It was SO red and the taste was terrible. Also very thin and flimsy. The two other steaks were ordered well done and those tasted better, but still very very thin. Dessert: we all ordered the tres leches, and oh my goodness! SOO GOOD!!! Presentation was gorgeous and flavor was great!! Cost: a bit on the pricey side, our bill was $240 for 4 people. The menu items are $1-$2 cheaper if you pay the bill with cash. There is a bakery on one side of the place where you can purchase misc items such as bread! This was cute! Overall, my party had mixed reviews on the food, so this is definitely a spot you should try at least once to make a determination. I'd definitely give it another try and order something else!

We really wanted to try this place because we love Puerto Rican food and there's not many options…read morein the area. The dining area was clean, neat and very classy. Waiter was nice, wasn't sure of menu items (ingredients and how to explain them in the dishes) and so we just went off the menu. We got 4 empanadas (2 chicken and 2 beef - they were good), 3 shrimp mofongos, and 1 chicken chunks with rice and pigeon peas. The price for the mofongo was high but we were like we love this dish so we need to try it. We get a medium sized mound of plantains with the shrimp already inside of it. That's fine BUT with the parts of the shrimp already mashed into it, I didn't even have 3 full compete shrimp, inside or in the side. The sauce that came with it, was oily, thick and not flavorful. The price was too high for the quality and food we got, or lack there of. Not even a side salad or anything to go with it. I left my mofongo because it was too dry and the overpowering of garlic, was too much. The other 2 with my same dish, expressed the same things as me. The chicken chunks dish, he couldn't finish them because they lacked flavor and because the coating looked burnt. However the chicken was tender but had no flavor at all. I tried it and left it on my plate with the mofongo I couldn't finish. Service was great, but food is lacking flavor.
