Garlic shrimp & tostado, plantain+ guacamole+ spiced ground beef, Mixed grill; steak+ chorizo+ chicken + shrimp, savory chicken ranchero.

Always a pleasure seeing the staff and eating at El Bambu. We love the new specialities added to the menu. It's a cheerful ambiance with bright colors from Guatemala. My favorite place in Peekskill.

Came with my kids and mom - daughter said she wished we could give more than 5 stars, son ate every shred of cabbage from the curtido that came with his pupusas. We also got 2 desayuno chapin, and a chicken sándwich. Everyone licked their plates clean, refried beans were hot fresh and perfectly seasoned, tortillas were made to order, so fresh and hot and corn-licious!

Great food, well priced, charming service. Stepped out of our comfort zone and tried this tiny Guatemalan restaurant. Glad I did

I can't drink right now since I'm pregnant, but I love to get a cocktail with my fancy dinner. I asked if they have any non-alcoholic cocktails, and the waiter made me the best freaking virgin mojito that ever existed. It was quite loud last time and the table next to me was really complaining and generally being a nuisance but the staff was handling everything with patience and professionalism.

We arrived early, about 4 pm and had a reservation. We were the first people there and seated by the bartender who also took our order. Ordered the Trip to Seville cocktail which was excellent. For dinner we had the Loaded Papa, Pinchos de Pollo, Gambas Al Ajillo and the Pulpo a la Parilla. All were delicious but we especially enjoyed the Loaded Papa and the Pinchos de Pollo. Everything was so good we wished we would have had time to go again. They also serve breakfast and brunch. We took home an order of Tres Leches Cake for my birthday and enjoyed it at home. Service was friendly, fun and efficient. The only problem was finding a parking space but we found a spot down the street.

Both catered to the Guatemalan and Ecuadorian palates. The downside is food that has an irresponsible amount of sodium that sits on a steam table uncovered at temperatures below legal regulations. A restaurant like this will charge you what they feel like so the prices are different daily(if you are an American and do not know better) The staff I only come here at night and the staff are the number one reason I avoid this place My most recent visit which was a few hours ago I felt like I was in the breakfast line at Rikers island. No hello no how are you no what would you like,no please no thank you. No explanation etc. just slam splat container closed food rung up And of course not a word spoken after you pay and the person serving just disappeared. Amount of people in the restaurant 1: me Yes they get busy and no they really don't care about bad reviews. Not at all. I pretty much come here because I hate McDonalds or it's too late for Chinese or a quality Ecuadorian restaurant.
