Come to Charleston please! I know it sounds funny, but we feel in love with this grocery store! The first thing we noticed was how neat and tidy everything was. You can tell the employees care and they made everything very esthetically pleasing. The second thing we noticed was the gigantic salad bar, fruit bar, olive bar, and pickled veggies bar. You could eat their salad bar daily and never have the same thing if you didn't want to!!! They had lots of bulk items allowing for you to get a little or a lot of whatever they had. A cheese selection that would make for the perfect charcuterie boards. If they served beer and wine like Lowe's Food, (there was a Starbucks) this place would be the perfect grocery store shopping experience. read more

I am always happy with 3 Ingles stores in Anderson, SC. Clean, helpful staff, produce is always good and well stocked, deli is well stocked. No complaints in any area including the pharmacy. read more

Hiring people in the deli that don't do their job just stand around talking all they do is watch people waiting to be helped. Mike isn't worth being the manager at that store its went down hill. Serious need of a change in management among other things read more

I spend several hundreds at this store every month and no complaints with the grocery side. The pharmacy on the other hand has a total lack of customer service. I had a prescription called in from my position at around 1 PM on Thursday, September 7. When we went up there to pick it up at approximately 430 5 o'clock we were told they did not have it in stock. Well first of you would think common courtesy would be to call the customer and let them know it is not in stock. So that was a wasted trip. I was told it would be in today September 8 by 2 pm. I go up there at 3 o'clock and wait in the line and get up there finally to be told it is not ready yet have a seat and it'll be about 30 minutes. To me this is completely unacceptable Customer Service. You might think customers would need the prescriptions that are called in for them! I will definitely find somewhere else to have prescriptions field going forward. read more

Love this store. Staff are great and the new Starbucks is a slam dunk. Starbucks employees there are always nice and my iced coffee is always consistent and well made. Great for shopping too. They keep the store clean and no long waits on line. The General Manager is a great guy and always says hello and gets things done. 5 stars! read more

Today at Ingles I had a prescription to pick up on 12/27/20 at the pharmacy and the pharmacy was very rude. It was called in from the hospital and with pneumonia had to wait 30 min to get my prescription. Very bad service. read more

I don't like this place it's ridiculous for the prices I went to Walmart I got a a can of fruit and it was $0.85 and I want to Ingles the one day and in the can of fruit with $3 I like cheaper deals the lines are long even the food at the deli bar is a little bit pricey read more

I've been shopping here for almost eight years and at Ingles all of my adult life. My first grocery shopping trip as a newlywed in 1974 was at an Ingles. I've always loved it, particularly the kind pharmacist who let me put my dog on my family plan for his very expensive medicine. That said, I had to stop here during the pandemic because the majority of the employees would not wear their masks over their noses. I spoke to management several times, including a manager named Amanda who seemingly understood and told me it was "the bane of my existence, trying to get these teenagers to wear their masks over their noses." She convinced me to keep shopping there. The next time I went in, who was not covering her nose? Amanda. I e-mailed the CEO who told me he'd be on it that day. He copied another member of management on the e-mail and told him to get started on it. Apparently, they can't control the employees either because the next (and final) time I went in, I had to wait for a register with a cashier with her nose covered, and then the bagger didn't. They all seemed to find it very amusing. I guess they haven't lost loved ones to COVID, yet. It is a serious inconvenience to have to find another grocery store when I was so used to this one and knew where everything was. The shame of it is that there are so many unemployed who would be thrilled to practice standard COVID safety measures if they had a job. read more

As someone who typically shops at this particular Ingles, I am used to great customer service. I did not get that today from Summer, who was not only unhelpful, but rude. I understand everyone has a bad day here or there, but don't make it apparent to the customers. read more

Have you had their Muffins? They are made fresh daily and the best I've ever found. I even know of one coffee shop they buys them, wraps em up individually, marks the price up and sells them as their own! read more

Rudest checkout experience. The cashier and bagger talked to each other the entire time and completely ignored me. I stood there for a long time just waiting for my receipt after it printed like they completely forgot I was there. Another associate who was on his break came up to buy something and asked me how I was, though, and that was really nice. But I really hope I don't have to shop here again anytime soon. Definitely going to try to transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy so I don't have to come back. read more

Clean, with a good selection. I like that they have natural and organic foods, and a reasonable selection of non-crap beer. It was well-kept and stocked. For a Saturday, it wasn't busy at all. read more
