I would say a lot of great things about Inga's Realty. They are a family owned business and they communicate well with their clients on a regular basis. I have learned a lot about the real estate market and home living through this real estate agency. They are the most helpful people when it comes time to finding a place to rent and they ensure your property is up to standards and that you have what you need to be a successful tenant and house owner. I had an issue with an oven and Inga's realty ordered a brand new one and fixed the issue right up. I am sure as I learn about the Real Estate Market in a positive light and learn some basics about home maintenance, I can foresee a beautiful relationship with this company to continue renting and succeeding in the real estate market. WARNING- STAY FAR AWAY from INGA's Realty!!!!! Our son and his wife just purchased a home in Ocean Pointe, Ewa Beach and Inga's Realty represented the SELLER. The most UNPROFESSIONAL & poor excuse of a Realtor. I will be filing a complaint w/the Real Estate Commission and BBB. Here's why: 1. Rug was supposed to be professionally cleaned prior to move in & their excuse was "Technician" did not see the order. 2. Ice box had stains galore on all the shelves & sides had pre-existing remnants of "MOLD" & it breaks down the day after my son and his lil family moved in and all their food spoiled. 3. Light fixtures were filthy; when lights are on you can see all the dirt and dead bugs etc. 4. Our DIL could never get a hold of anyone, nor could their Realtor; if their lives depended on it they would be dead. 5. Shower head was broken & needed to be fixed and couldn't get a hold of anyone at Ingas Realty and our son's poor Realtor sent her husband to fix the shower head. 6. Dryer needed to be fixed also & same thing as listed in #5. 7. Prior to taking possession of their home... the entire house needed to be wiped down, which my son & DIL did before moving things in. Whoever they said were the "PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS" shouldn't EVER clean homes EVER. Water spots on all the faucets in the house and the kitchen sink. 8. Backyard had way overgrown bushes that looks like hadn't been tended too in forever which takes up most of the backyard space of what little space they have. As a former Realtor myself, you represent your clients & you professionalism should be held to the highest regard. I'm baffled at HOW Inga's Realty is even still in business. Thank God our son & his wife had an awesome Realtor who represented them well. YELP shouldn't require us to rate 1 star " just because" cause INGA's Realty is a farce and a disgrace to the Realtor Community. read more

First off, I'm pretty sure Inga's is only in business because they have a partial monopoly on the west side of Oahu. They rely on a ton of lower end local renters to survive. I have used Inga's twice now, but not necessarily by choice. They just happen to have a few vacation condo listings in the same complex that my parents live in. So we default to them and reserve the closer condo's. Inga's biggest problem is communication. It's next to impossible to get a hold of them. They don't answer phone calls or voice mails, they don't return emails. Both times we used them, it was crazy difficult to talk to a human. They are full of excuses when you finally snag one of them on the line. One of the stays, they quoted me a price on the phone and then sent me a different price via email. It was nightmare trying to contact them to fix the price or decide on another option since we were on a timeline. If at all possible steer clear of Inga's. Not worth the hassle. read more

Avoid this company's properties! We were only provided with one key to the gate, pool, elevator, beach, not two as promised. Our son lost it in the ocean waves and we were basically trapped in our room over Christmas. The dishwasher flooded and as I inspected the damage to the parquet wood floor, I could see this was not the first occurrence. We were informed a few days earlier that the washing machine was broken, so we spent part of our vacation with a repairman in our unit. The shower did not drain properly. Lack of communication, unreturned calls, lying about sending emails, refund check (when I called to inquire about the refund I was told the check was in the mail, but the refund was actually processed on my credit card 2.5 weeks later - so silly, why lie about it?), and overall disregard for the customer. Very unprofessional. I felt like I cared about concluding the deal way more than the agent did. Not sure how they stay afloat. What a shame. i had the same problem as the other reviewers. Jeannie doesn't answer simple requests via email in anything like a timely matter. Calls go un-answered if you can even get to the voicemail without being disconnected. What answers you do get are curt and not very informative or friendly. i finally emailed the owner of several units in which I was interested and shared the entire chain of emails with him. I'd already reached out to him before and he copied me on an email to Jeannie instructing her to contact me right away regarding my questions (i.e what is the price on a particular unit and is there a TV in the bedroom - I'd already waited 3 days for an answer!) I asked the owner (Steve Daly) if he had any idea how much rental business he was likely losing every week because of Jeannie. If she worked for me, she wouldn't work for me. read more

This gets a one star rating only because Yelp makes you rate with at least one. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Customer Service SUCKS. There is no time of day you call and get an answer. You leave a message and never get an answer. You send an e-mail and still no response. I rented a house that was in no way clean and ready for occupancy yet they said there was a professional cleaning and offered to send her back. I said I was willing to do it myself, obviously better. There was an infestation of roaches, leaks in one of the bathrooms and the irrigation near the back patio, a broken refrigerator and air conditioner. Obviously, nothing was checked to make sure it was in working order prior to my move in. When moving out and I did break my lease, I gave sufficient time to show the house and have no interruption in rent. Not only did I show the house and give out applications, I also was willing to vacate a few days earlier than the last day of the month so the new tenants could move in. There were several applicants wanting the home for April 1st, Ingas picked the one for the 15th and charged me the two weeks. Then never showed up for my exit walk through and said the house was left dirty. It was cleaner than it was received. I have decided to contact the better business. Bureau along with an attorney. I believe it's time Ingas realty, the owner and staff learn a lesson in common decency and respect!!!!! read more

I wouldn't count to much on Ingas. The staff are not to friendly and don't help you where it counts. I had filled an application from them for one of their rentals, they said they would call me when the showing is. I waited 3 days for them to call, no call. I went up there to find out about the rental, they said that the owner had just came in the day before and said he was going to sell it instead. Thanks for letting me hang for those 3 days, and the attitude they had when they told me. Not a reliable company, and not very helpful and they do not call you back. I would not recommend. read more

IF THIS IS YOUR LISTING AGENT FOR SELLING YOUR HOME-----STAY FAR, FAR, FAR, AWAY!!!! -- Inge's Realty is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL REALTOR!!!! They are representing the Seller in which, us being the motivated buyer, has not completed the contract from the seller who is also motivated to sell, so we can open escrow for over 10 days. She has constantly dragged her feet. We have a signed acceptance, however, she has failed time and time again to get the completed documents in order that we may open escrow. I have bought many homes in my life and have NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH UNPROFESSIONALISM IN MY LIFE!!!! Their biggest problem is communication. It's next to impossible for my agent to get a hold of them. They don't return my agent's emails and lie about sending them. They are full of excuses when my agent finally gets her on the line, and there you have it AGAIN, ANOTHER EXCUSE. I as the buyer will be filing a complaint with the Real Estate Commission's Office. Inge's Realty should not be allowed to keep their realtor's license for their unprofessional and unethical practices of hard working people trying to purchase a home and delay weeks on end to get contracts completed so the Seller and Buyer may finish their task.
