Iced white chocolate mocha latte with oatmilk
Andrea V.

I ordered a white chocolate mocha with oatmilk and it was so good! 10/10 the espresso had great flavor!

Turkey Melt & Feta 3
Adriana A.

Great coffee and amazing food Turkey Melt Bagel: The turkey melt comes with melted cheese and this delicious pesto on a bagel. It was a nice savory choice for breakfast Feta 3: The focaccia bread in this is delicious!! And the feta with olive & tapenade made every bite come together. We really enjoyed this one Sweet coffee shop overall to enjoy some delicious breakfast & coffee in Golden Hill

It's a nice cozy coffee shop in Little Italy. They serve coffee, salad, fruits, sandwiches, pastries, organic dishes and vegeterian food. They open @7:00 AM and close by 2:00 PM. It is pet friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The employees were very nice and attentive. The service was outstanding We ordered: - Toasted everything Bagel  with cream  cheese       5/5 -Caramel latte  5/5 The caramel latte was very refreshing, perfect sweetness and had adequate amount of caramel. Their bagels were soft and chewy with generous amount of delicious cream cheese. So far, it was the Best Bagel I had ever tried in San Diego. We had extra Bagels for the following day, and they were very fresh and tasted the same as the day before. I will be back for sure to have more yummy bagels and try different drinks

Influx is my go to place for the turkey pesto sandwich! Today I decided to get a Mexican mocha with extra cinnamon which was made delicious by barista. Thank you Influx!

Turkey #2

I've been coming here for over 15 years, and it's always been my go-to spot for sandwiches. As a local, I appreciate the fresh bread they bake every morning--even on days when it's not ready yet, I happily switch to a bagel. The Turkey #2 is my favorite, and I highly recommend pairing it with a vanilla latte with oat milk. The staff is wonderful and welcoming--they truly know their regulars. The ambiance is simple yet inviting, offering a quiet and aesthetic space to enjoy a meal.

My neighborhood coffee shop that I walk by constantly, but don't go into nearly enough. Coffee is good and reasonably priced, their chai latte is also very tasty. Plenty of seating, inside and out, and always has people working on computers, reading, on a work break or coffee date.... Also lots of free street parking (two spots in front have meters, just go on the side street). Don't sleep on the sandwiches!!! The Feta 3 is my favorite, but haven't ordered one yet that I wouldn't recommend or get for myself again. Pro tip - get it to go and eat at the park or zoo.

Service was a bit slow for a Tuesday morning and the drinks/food were alright. I was really excited for this place because of its bagel/sandwich options. They have a lot of vegan/vegetarian options in addition to the classics. I got the tuna melt bagel which was an open-faced sandwich. It was piping hot and the bagel itself was really nicely toasted. There was not a lot of tuna on the bagel and the flavor was a little bland. Also, I'm not sure why but the bagel was really greasy and the bottom of my plate was drenched with grease. The drink I got was a vanilla latte and I don't have much to say about it other than when I had initially gotten it it was lukewarm. For the amount of time it took to get our food (maybe 15 minutes when it was not too busy. Could have been an issue of staffing though because I only saw maybe 2 workers) and not many good things to say about it, I do not think it was worth it. Again, it was not horrible, but not impressive either.

Gluten Free 1: Swiss cheese, no spinach, with bacon (+$2.50)
April D.

Service is quick and no nonsense. The Fanta is $4.50. The coffee was okay, could have tasted better. Tried to order the most common items so my son could eat something familiar. The gluten free 1 is $6.95 and for 3 pieces of bacon it's $2.50 more. My son did not like it lol, but he tanked his soda and had some bites of the brownie which was $5.95! Almost as much as the meal itself. There are a good amount of tables inside and out. We chose to sit outside because it was getting loud and echoey inside. This place seems to be a fixture in the community because the older woman at the register who took my order spoke to another woman seated near the front entrance and told her to pull her car forward to get into an actual parking space. Clearly there are regulars who come in and spend their mornings here. If you're on the go and need something fast this is the place to be. Otherwise, I'd advise people to just make your own food at home.

This is a neighborhood joint I always pass so wanted to check it out. I unfortunately have to mimic all the other reviews: the customer service here really sucked. Like no energy, annoyed we were there, inconvenienced. Not at all what you want for your morning coffee place. With that said, the drinks and the food were good. We had an everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel felt a bit small but it was still yummy. Dirty chai: leaned more on the tea side. Not my favorite but still good. Blended 3 (Madagascar vanilla and caramel): this was the yummier of the two. Frothy and sweet. For those worried about covid they still social distance when you order with a table between you and the cashier. Seating wise they have options inside but we opted for the outside. Parking wise: street parking and a few metered in front. A lot of people put their hazards on parked illegally and jumped out to grab a quick coffee which was amusing. All in all I'm not going out of my way to go here but if I'm in the neighborhood I'd swing by. I just won't expect a friendly face when I go.

This place was good but really packed for a Friday morning! Food was good. Everything bagel is very good. Cute little spot!

Phenomenal! New to the Golden Hill area and this place has not only amazing coffee, but DELICIOUS FOOD!! You on your way downtown or to balboa park? Make a stop here, you won't regret it! Service is great, wait time is short and the area is beautiful. Outdoor seating and a designated pick area too for online orders. I ordered their turkey melt on an everything bagel and OH MY GOODNESS!! heaven.... Iced white mocha to pair it and my heart was sold.

Turkey, pesto, and cheese on everything bagel. Too much cheese for me.
Johnny

Cold brew is really good, not overly bitter and has a nice slight sweetness. I ordered mine black so nothing else in it. The sandwich was ok, I ordered the turkey sandwich and only ate half. They serve it kind of open face style but there was too much cheese for me so I left the other half. Not much parking around for those wondering and the inside is really nice and chill. I'll be back just ask for less cheese next time.

The matcha was creamy, rich, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. One thing to know if you're ordering matcha or a latte--they only offer oat milk, not almond milk. My husband loved his coffee and said the espresso was smooth, flavorful, and let the coffee shine without being overcomplicated. The shop itself is really cool too. There's an art installation inside, an outdoor patio with additional seating, and I noticed quite a few people picking up bags of espresso beans while we were there. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.

Artwork is very beautiful and fits the Barrio Logan scene perfectly. I arrived with nobody inside the business minus the workers, you had maybe 2 people outside enjoying the scenery and their drinks. Not greeted upon entering the business just gave me that stare with not asking if I had any questions. I dont recall his name but he was very skinny, curly hair or wavy and i believe he had braces, but not sure if he was having a bad day but something wasn't all there. I ordered 2 drinks, I forget the other but it had cinnamon on top. The drinks were just hand on the counter without saying which drinks is which, so i asked which one is which. Didn't hear me, so i kinda said again and he pointed them out not in a nice or rude way but the approach of how it was handled was not friendly. How can you have Mazapán without the Mazapán crumbles which are very iconic to the drink. I just found it super strange and did not care for it. The cinnamon based drink was good tho, which I'll give them that. Experience could have been better.

Wait outside on the sidewalk (no exterior seating) and someone will come to take you inside. Do not ring the door bell. The theme is to take it slow. Each customer typically waits 20-30 minutes to enter as part of how they do things, even if there is open seating inside. Not sure if they use a timer to space entries but it seems consistent. They take one group in at a time. Interior: A few tables around the wall and then bar seating. Would not recommend for parties greater than 2, there just isn't the space. They welcome service animals, babies/children and strollers from what I observed. The music was very, very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. I did not see a bathroom. Ordering process: After seating you wait for a little bit for them to bring small water cups and a QR menu with a table number and a set of rules. They do not have a physical menu, you must use your phone to order. Cell phone reception was dicey and took a long time to load. They have an interesting concept where you have a digital 'tab' open on their toast website. Unfortunately you must provide your full name, email and phone number. They have pour over drinks (note these can take 15-20 minutes), matcha, Hojicha and others. You may only order one drink per person at a time. They have a small snack menu with rotating foods. They use oat milk only. No substitutions allowed. After mobile ordering, drinks take 20-30 minutes as part of their take it slow vibe. Matcha $8 is from Paru tea and was very good. Hojicha $8 was too milky and didn't have a strong enough flavor. When you are done you walk to the register by the door and wait to be checked out. If they are making a drink you wait until they are finished. I wasn't really a fan. Staff were brusque. Music was too loud to converse.

Five different matcha drinks were offered along with hot and cold coffees and lattes. The top three matcha choices were priced at $8 each. I chose the Ordinary Pleasure which was the first one. Pandan sticky rice milk and mango puree were added to the matcha and topped with a salted coconut foam. I wasn't a fan of the foam, but the matcha flavor was intense and contrasted by the fruity puree on the bottom of the cup. The baristas were very focused with measuring the exact amounts for each ingredient in the drinks they were preparing. The matcha quality seemed to be very good based on what I tasted so maybe it's why the price was $1 higher than what I have tried elsewhere.

The barista mentioned that it is on the sweeter side. When this was mentioned I felt like it would be a good pairing because the Thai coffees that I am used to having are typically on the strong side. I also heard from another customer that the Thai coffee had a slight mocha taste to it which I thought was interesting. I'm indifferent to powdered taro milk teas, although this one in particular, I did not enjoy. It was thick and sludgy, with an undertone of medicine reminding me of pepto bismol. The color was lovely, but not the taste. I wouldn't order this particular drink again. The drink I chose was medium size and it was only $5.38 (or 5.83, I can't remember & I don't think I got a receipt) ish which I can appreciate! The top portion of the drink was the Thai coffee and I really did like the flavor. Next time I'll get a different drink for sure! My friend tried the Green Thai Tea for the first time and really enjoyed the flavor of it. It had a floral jasmine + vanilla taste, a little bit on the sweet side-- but refreshing and delicious. The prices are pretty good (coffee and milk teas) and they also have smoothies (which can be on the more expensive side $9-12). Water cup is free upon request. They also have only a handful of seatings, but it's a nice area to walk around. They have umbrellas as well, but they do need a heavier stand for windy days as I've witnessed it fall into a car several times. Other than that, I recommend checking out It's Cafe Thai in Barrio Logan!
