Per instructions I had to schedule online so I followed the instructions and started the setup. At the last step it asked me for a credit card and I instantly stopped with skepticism and just called Claudia. I explained to her that I wasn't comfortable inputting a credit card and she said it was no problem and just scheduled me in for the following week. What I did learn about this salon is that appointments are required since it's a smaller salon so be prepared for a few days out. Before my appointment day arrived I received an email confirmation with directions and instructions, I was very happy to receive it as a reminder as it made the visit very easy. When I arrived she was ready for me. Its just her in the salon so it's a vey one on one experience and for me very inviting. She set me up with a glass of wine and got to work on my nails. I had almost 4-5broken and cracking nails so I knew it would be a miracle to get them to look decent for my upcoming trip. She trimmed the cuticle, the nails, filed and put layers of polish on and put a mask on my hands. The end result was amazing and a week later they still look just as amazing as they did the day I walked out of the salon. Through the whole experience she was chatty and extremely pleasant. I'm so happy with my whole experience I am excited to go back and have her try something different and see what fun things she can do with my nails. We understand that nobody is perfect, and sometimes the quality of a service doesn't turn out as expected. We didn't hold that against them because mistakes happen. However, when nails are breaking and lifting off the very same afternoon they were done, there's clearly a workmanship issue. Over the past month and a half, we had to return multiple times to have the same problems fixed. Each time, we were assured we wouldn't be charged since they were correcting their own work. Yet when the service was finished, they acted as if those conversations never happened and charged us anyway. That's not how loyal customers should be treated. Maya and the management showed no accountability, no appreciation for long-term customers, and no integrity in how they handled the situation. Instead of standing behind their work, they chose to nickel-and-dime a loyal client after repeatedly fixing issues they created. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and money. There are plenty of nail salons that value their customers and stand behind their services. Do yourself and your nails a favor and run from this place.
