Brown tile floor, brown wood vanity. Why would anyone choose to make a bathroom the color of poop I cannot reconcile to myself. I have been annoying my husband for two years since we moved in to the house with my rants about it. This year I convinced him to let me spend some of our tax return on changing that. Thanks to my raging addiction to HGTV I knew exactly what I wanted to do in there and contacted Brian about my vision in mind. He is the most laid back dude, super chill and easy to work with. Brian does beautiful tile work, he made some very helpful suggestions about the tile and how to lay it so it would look the nicest. Aside from the tile work, he also changed out the shower head, replaced the vanity sink and installed faucets and a new backsplash, replaced the mirror, light fixture and toilet. Oh! And he hung up some shelves and changed the light above the shower. He did an amazing job. Kelly B recommended Brian at Two Ells. I called him that day, left a message. He returned the message that day and we set up a time for an estimate. I love prompt responsiveness, and right off the bat, I had a good feeling about Brian. My parents haven't had any major work done in their 1980-built house since they moved in, circa 1984. Partly because they didn't want to spend the money and partly because it can be difficult finding an honest, affordable contractor, which has to do with the first reason really. Two of the several things I'm super grateful for regarding the way Brian works are his honesty and his ability to see projects in a cost-effective way. He is also extremely patient. My Mom had some health issues arise during our plans and Brian was so patient with us and having to push the date back (& our slacking on picking out materials, mostly because my mom is a perfectionist procrastinator). While we were waiting on the bathroom finalization, Brian painted our upstairs hallway and our family room and did a great job. He also replaced all of the gross fluorescent tube lighting in our kitchen and powder room with recessed lighting. I swear if you can only change one thing in a house built in the 70's-80's, the upgrade in lighting will make a WORLD of difference. My parents home only has one shower so it was VITAL that the tub and shower tile work was done relatively quickly. Brian and Bryce had the tub, tiles, and fixtures installed and ready to be used in 3.5 days. We were blown away with how quickly they worked and how beautiful the tile work turned out. The remainder of the bathroom work (new floor, new toilet, new lighting, painting, new doors, new vanity and counter top) took about 7-8 work days, at the most. We had a delay in getting the vanity and counter top from the materials supplier, but Brian checked in every couple of days to let us know what was going on. The project altogether probably took about 10 days. To remodel a full bathroom. Yay! I highly recommend Two Ells. Their pricing for our projects was SUPER reasonable and Brian is a really good, honest guy. He had great communication with us throughout our projects. We had estimates from a couple of other contractors initially but we got the best feeling from Brian and knew he was the man for our job! We look forward to working more with him in the future! It disappoints me to see so many of the reviews for this business filtered because I'm sure they are legit. Brian deserves all of that praise for the quality work he does. Thanks Brian! Once I realized the need for a shed in our backyard and once I realized that I no longer have the time to purchase and construct my own shed I made the choice to spend some time online and driving around the area looking at different shed builders who would handle my project for me. I visited the usual Home Depot / Lowes etc and a couple of other places in the area before I took a chance and drove down Main St into Clarence to visit Homestead Designs. Their lot is located not too far from the Great Pumpkin Patch so certainly not somewhere that's convenient to visit but after not being wowed at other places I figured why not. After walking around their lot and looking at different designs I walked into the office and the gentleman who worked their was extremely helpful in explaining the different options and taking the time to walk me around looking at various sheds. I left impressed and after spending a few more days doing research decided to head back and order my shed with them. The process was simple and I was in and out of the office in about 15 minutes. He helped me pick my style and siding, along with making sure the shed matched the color scheme of my house. I happily paid my deposit and was told about 4-5 weeks for delivery. Throughout the process after, Heidi ( I believe she may be the owner ) was awesome, She made a small billing mistake which she corrected instantly and was extremely helpful in helping me provide the less than helpful village of Depew with the documentation needed for my permit, along with communicating to my landscape company the requirements for the shedpad.....she was AWESOME. Overall if you're looking for a company to build a custom made shed in Western New York I don't believe you'll find anywhere that's as impressive as Homestead Designs. They weren't the cheapest, they weren't even the most expensive but even if they were I think I would still be happy with my choice.

My experience with Natale Builders was disappointing from the start. They refused to provide any…read morefirm pricing until I put down a $10,000 "refundable" deposit, which in hindsight should have been a major red flag. Once the deposit was paid, I asked multiple times for a quote. It took nearly two weeks to receive, and what I got was a generic two-page summary with minimal detail and vague estimates. After deciding not to move forward, I asked for my deposit back on Thursday, October 30th. Instead of promptly returning it, they first tried to sell me another property and said the deposit "wasn't ready." Communication was evasive and inconsistent from that point on. A full week later, they finally issued a refund on November 6th, but only after deducting $1,750 in "fees." According to their letter, this included charges like $95 for a meeting, $95 for correspondence (Texts), and hundreds more for "estimating" and "drafting," even though I was only ever provided one of their standard layouts with small changes. There was no true itemized evidence of custom drafting or real estimating work to justify those costs. What was presented as a refundable deposit turned into a slow, frustrating process with arbitrary deductions and poor communication. It took over a week after my refund request just to get a partial check back. If transparency, professionalism, and trust matter to you, I strongly recommend avoiding this builder.
