Before I called Jeffrey Plumbing I did a lot of research on what my plumbing issue actually was. I…read morecalled the Town of Amherst Sewer Dept and had them put a camera down the main line and see if they could see what the problem was where my tap came into the main line. It ended up being there was major tree roots imbedded in the clay sewer lines that were originally used when my house was built. Why they would use clay pipes back then is beyond me...they are easily breakable, porous, and almost anything can infiltrate through the joints or breaks in these pipes like tree roots! Thank goodness PVC is used now. Needless to say I got a few estimates and ended up going with Jeffrey Plumbing to do the entire sewer line replacement from the house to the main line which is near the street. They came over and gave me a thorough explanation of what needed to be done in great detail, they inserted a camera in my line to show me the roots and cracks (basically there was a pen diameter size space of flow that's how many roots were in there), and answered all of my questions (and I ask alot of questions lol). I was highly impressed by the professionalism and honesty of Jeffrey Plumbing from the start. The job was then performed and it was completed in one day! They did a fantastic job! This is a family business and Jeffrey and his sons perform all the work. It's extremely hard to find honest, hardworking, knowledgeable, skilled, competent and straight forward tradesmen these days...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jeffrey Plumbing!

But, probably many plumbing companies could fit that description. That is where Louis excels. HE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND what could be expected. He and his partner were at our house for 12 hours working until close to 9pm. They finished the following day and left everything clean and in great condition. The job required opening a wall to get to the pipe. They replaced the drywall, which was a huge bonus, other plumbers were not willing to do. Lou also replaced our water line to the fridge and installed it properly at no extra charge. He saw the wonky job someone had previous done and took it upon himself to fix it for us. Simon Plumbing was a breeze to work with, fairly priced and reliable. Also, both guys were super kind to our dog so you know they are good people. Highly highly recommend.

I called late in the day for a drainage problem at my house. It was a cold rainy day last week. Thomas answered the phone immediately, I told him my problem and he said he'd come over that same evening after he finished his 2 other jobs. He got to my house about 6 PM. In the dark and pouring rain, he worked outside from the septic tank to the house. He was very professional and got the job done. He cleaned up, had me come out and look in his camera of the drain and explained everything. I have never met Thomas before this day and I can't stop talking about him. He is such a hard worker. I read some Yelp reviews, and decided Roto-Rooter was a no-go. Mr. Plumber seemed decent. They estimated a price, I called back to schedule and had to leave a message, and they never called me back. So that brought us to Mike at Plumb-Rite. He answered the phone, was available first thing the next morning, and estimated a price $115 less than Mr. Plumber. So we booked his services, and I'm glad we did. He showed up the next morning on time, and had the sewer flowing again in about an hour. Turned out we had a blockage, but also had some tree roots, which they also removed. If you need a plumber, we definitely recommend Plumb-Rite, and will gladly use them again when the inevitable plumbing issues that come along with home-ownership raise their stinky-heads once again. Excellent communication, quality service, very reasonable prices--thanks Plumb-Rite! :-D
