Their Notetella Smoothie was 4/5 in taste. I wish they used frozen banana so it wouldn't have been so warm on such a hot day. It was subtly sweet in a nice way. Pretty filling. I'd love to try their food someday; I don't think I could pay £4.50 for a drink again.

My favourite thing about the Infinity Foods Café is that it's one of the only places in Brighton I can go for cake they've got a great range suitable not only for coeliacs, but vegans and vegetarians too. As if the choice of cake wasn't exciting enough for someone with a wheat intolerance, they also do gluten-free bread with their soups. Their GF bread is the same recipe as the one sold in their Gardner Street shop, which is rather delicious. They wouldn't give me the recipe, but I gather it has tapioca flour and apple juice in it... As well as hot lunches like soup, hot sandwiches and pasta-based dishes, they also do a great mix of salads a big portion of mixed salads is about £5 and suitably filling. They do a range of unusual teas too, like a lovely rooibos earl grey, but they use bags not loose leaf, which loses them points. I can't fault their Red Roaster coffee though absolutely delicious. The front of the cafe is airy and open, with tables and chairs outside meaning that it's a particularly lovely place to go in the summer. Definitely well worth a visit, if only for the cake and coffee.

Pancakes with Maple Syrup and vegan English Breakfast (so yum!)

I like Bombay Aloo. It is a buffet, and a buffet is never gonna be my idea of a special treat. But…read moretheir lunch deal for all you can eat for a fiver seems to recognise this, and it's an excellent place to go if you're looking to eat quickly/in the day/save money. The staff are good, food is fresh (usually - the rice can dry out if it's not busy) and it isn't greasy, fatty or bland. The only downer is that the dishes do lack distinct flavours, and do tend to merge into each other - it's a bit of a shame they couldn't have been more inventive considering this place is quite unique in serving a veggie only menu. All in all though, the cosiness and satisfyingness of the place/food means it's pretty darn good for the price. Oooh, just checked the website - apparently the buffet is just £3.50 between 3.15 and 5.15 mon-fri - amazing!

It's definitely not the fanciest buffet, but what can you really expect when you are paying 5£?? The restaurant itself is cozy, and I appreciated the sign on the wall informing you of which dishes are vegan and which are just vegetarian, very helpful! The food is really good, there's a nice selection of vegetable curries, dahls, rice, salad, onion bhajis, papadums and naan bread, and it's all delicious! I wish there were more places like this when traveling because the price is too good to beat! You get such a good selection, and can eat as much as you like, which for me is quite a lot. You definitely get way more than your money's worth and a full belly of warm Indian food.

How I missed the Cheesus Pizza. Such a good restaurant, if…read moreyou are vegan, it can be called "The Green Paradise". Pizzas are tasty, everybody is nice, very welcoming with you. They are ready to speak about each ingredients if you don't know them, they even answered to questions about a specific product, and how lovely this is. Even if you love meat, just try this magical place to understand how it could taste when we won't have anymore meat on earth, it'll educate you about that. There is a slightly negative point, about prices. It's very hard to take a starter for more than £5 when you know that you'll spend £16 for a pizza and £4 for a coke. Even if it's delicious, maybe it could reviewed. Plus, you are susceptible to pay a percentage depends of the service (it's written on the menu so not a big deal). Anyway, thanks to Purezza to grow like a wonderful plant, and to open in a lot of different places.

The food at Purezza is very very good. At the two locations I've visited (Manchester and Brighton),…read morethe flavours and ingredients were superb. At Brighton specifically, I had the pesto pizza (with added pepperoni) and the caesar salad. My partner and I split both, which was a good amount of food for two people. Both of us we were very satisfied. One detractor for Brighton, at least on the night we went, was that a huge portion of the menu was unavailable. The server basically had to go down a laundry list of menu items that they couldn't serve, which even included most alcoholic drinks. While I'm glad we warned up front, and we still enjoyed what we had, it was disappointing and seemed a little strange. Also, I will say that between the two, the Brighton location's space was a little lacklustre. Still, I would recommend Purezza as a solid pizza option and worth checking out.
