Started off the consultation explaining my hair had been bleached once before and I went to a salon to dye it black. **Back story I did the bleach in October dyed it black in November and have been letting it fade out since then.** I explained all of this to JESSICA THE OWNER OF THE SALON and she assured me she would be able to do a balayage and take me to blonde. SO I TRUSTED EXACTLY WHAT SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS GOING TO DO. She started sectioning and applying bleach on my hair at 2:30 and past 4 pm I have pictures of my hair still covered in bleach sitting in the chair as she added more heat to my hair!! SHE LEFT THE BLEACH ON FOR 2 hours!! This is where my hair started to fall out. I began taking pictures and panicking. I started taking pictures of my hair down the drain in the sink and began HOPING and PRAYING my hair wasn't damaged. Before taking me to the chair she told me "I'm going to need to start treatment on my hair immediately" and TRIED to promote her promo code to use. (I'm a content creator) and then told me "when I shower don't pull at my hair...." Now she's taking me to the chair SHE TOLD ME "don't look in the mirror because I don't want you looking at the color yet because it's not the color yet." HIDING MY HAIR HAD COMPLETELY BROKEN OFF!!! I looked down at the ground to CLUMPS of my hair GUMMY on the floor and as she started cutting and brushing my hair just melting in her hands and all over me. At this point I needed to see it and she was trying to blow it out but my 24 inch hair had been melted away to my shoulders. I CRIED "WHERE DID MY HAIR GO?" To her reply " what do you mean I didn't cut a lot off." I told her to stop working on my hair and she told me no payment for the damage and breakage she caused to my hair. I went home devastated and my hair is falling out and breaking. I HAD BEEN GROWING MY HAIR OUT FOR 3 years!! And all of the progress I had been having with my hair completely gone. I had a consultation with Lucy a couple of weeks prior my appointment and we schedule a day. I had text her the picture of what I wanted to get done after my hair consultation and prior my appointment. She said no problem and on the day of my appointment, she started the process. In the picture, I showed that I want more of a balayage that starts dark and gets lighter at the bottom. She decided to do my whole hair blonde and when I addressed that it was not like the picture, she tries to justify her mistake by saying that the picture I showed her was last years fashion and that it's not in anymore. Lucy tried showing me a different picture and tried to convince me to like it because it was similar to the hair she did. I told her that I wanted what I showed her and that I didn't care it was last years fashion. She was upset and continued to style my hair without a brush. She does not own a brush and I had to get a hair brush from my car to let her borrow it. She also didn't have a cape and some of the bleach got on my clothes. When she washed my hair, she waterboard me and water splashed all over my clothes. I felt really cold since she used freezing cold water on me. As she was washing my hair, she accidentally poured a waterfall down my back and my shirt was completely soaked. Since I expressed that the picture was darker on top, she panicked and put almost black hair on top of my hair and now there is a harsh line that goes all around my hair. As she was doing my hair, she said that if she knew I was going to be this picky, she would have said no to doing my hair. This lady really thought that I was just going to sit there and let her do whatever she wanted with my hair and walk away happy even though it wasn't what I wanted. I am horrified with my hair and she charged me $300. I was there for 9.5 hours. I ended up paying but I really wish she had the decency to charge me less since it was her mistake. I understand that it's a process to make my ends that light but she did not even tell me beforehand that my hair was going to look different. I am horrified with my hair and now it's so damaged, my hair stretches when it's wet. I've been crying all day. Please don't go here. She's a nice lady but it's not worth your misery, time, and money.
