I wish I would have read Natalie's review below before because I just had the SAME EXPERIENCE. Scheduled for more than a month for keratin, cut, and color. Groupon. Talked to the owner twice leading up about the exact procedure we would do for my particularly curly hair. Called to confirm day before. No call back. Called morning of. No call back. Took an hour to get there, closed sign on the door. A customer let's me in and says she's been waiting too. Five minutes later, the same esthetician who I presume Natalie below talked to asks if I have an appt, I say yes, and the first thing out of her mouth is "well I don't think you should stay because she's probably not coming in." I'm thinking: Who is "she"? Isn't this a business? Am I being punked? Well "she" is the OWNER who apparently hasn't called or texted or paid her employee in more than a week. Her employee sees me on the schedule but has no way of getting in touch with the owner and just says "I don't know what to tell you" repeatedly and shows me her failed to be received text messages to her boss. Meanwhile a third customer comes in, poor girl is leaving the country next day so has no alternative, but gets the cold shoulder too. I'm asked to leave because the employee is there alone and needs to lock up behind me even though their hours say open. So just standing in the cold in a dodgy part of town with raggy hair. read more

I arrived at 1:10pm for my 1pm appointment. The receptionist came out and glared at me and said that if I was 5 minutes later she would have turned me away. Sure, fair. I then proceeded to wait until 1:30pm at which point I just left. Will be returning my Groupon. read more

Facial Review. Came upon this place through Groupon and it was conveniently located 5 minutes from my apartment. It was well worth the money! Lana was great! Super personable and knowledgeable. She walked you though every step she went through and made sure you were comfortable. Extractions for any facial is my favorite part. My face was super congested after having return from India where there was severe air pollution. She got a lot of what I needed out and it wasn't too painful. She also got some of the deepest whiteheads that I have been trying to get out for a very long time. She used a needle, which was my first experience of an esthetician doing so. Painless and effective. She offered a continuing offer where you pay $40 for facials after your first one. To me that is a great deal in the city of Chicago! I had the option to either pay it in full upfront or put a 50% down payment. Needless to say I'll be back! As for most services, cash tips are always recommended! read more

In addition to my nervousness about finding a new salon, I was worried about how my thin Asian hair would turn out. Claudia put me at ease with her friendliness, attentiveness in cutting my hair, and communication (she trimmed my bangs in intervals and asked me in between to avoid cutting it too short). We discussed my haircare routine and she was respectful of my low-maintenance routine and didn't push products. She spent over an hour transforming my shoulder-length hair into a voluminous a-line bob. My boyfriend couldn't believe that my hair could have that much volume! As we chatted, Claudia shared how she took the scary risk of opening up her own salon about two years ago and was doing something she loved. I bought a Groupon for this lovely salon. It was a really good deal $29 for a cut and conditioning treatment. However, I only felt that the cut and conditioning was average. I didn't walk away feeling fabulous. I got exactly what I wanted in the hair cut. The two stylists were very professional and friendly. But the ends of my long hair was tangling a week later. Also the conditioning treatment really did not do anything for my hair and usually at other salons it does help give my dry hair a lift. Also the stylist usually offers their expert opinion on what treatment my hair needs and she left it up to me and did not offer any advice. I would not come back as I believe there are better salons in the area and their prices are the same as Infinite Beauty. Also I really like that salons offer a beverage it makes you feel appreciated and welcome. And this is super nit picky but this is the 2nd beauty place to do this. Could you please by a disposable cup a step up from the 6 oz Styrofoam cup?!?! Its just not big enough and neither placed offered to refill. I find them tacky and as if the offering of a beverage which some place advertise to be an afterthought instead of a real offer. I really wanted to like this place but the stylist who gave me a blow out, fell short. I bought a Groupon here for a blow out. I was on the hunt for a regular spot to get a blow out but THIS place wasn't it. The stylist was super sweet and I clearly explained to her what I wanted, showed her a pic and explained that I wanted lots of body. I feel bad giving her a bad review but it was seriously the worst blow out I've ever had. I could've done a better job myself. I went in 1 or 2 days before NYE and my blow outs usually last 3, sometimes 4 days with dry shampoos in between. This blow out went flat as soon as I walked out. I was even flatter and lifeless the next day. It was weighed down by product (not sure what she used). I'll stick to Trixxie Blow Dry Bar, even though it's a lot further from my house. read more

My barber was Alex. Not recommend!!!!! I wanted to do with my hair balayage... I showed her a picture with style and color I wanted...-and what I got??? The same color what I had... the same hair style what I had.... balayage (price 70$)...and I paid -120$. bcuz it was coloring with olaplex... it had to be 90$... I decided to come here after seeing a few reviews the stylist who did my hair was very sweet and talented went in looking to get a ombré and got more of a balayage (we agreed on ) I showed a picture it didn't look to much like that picture but I love the way my hair came out all together I got a hair cut ( side bangs,long layers , front layer as well as a nice balayage). This is my new hair spot i love it it's quite small but very welcoming it's a pretty new place so they have deals on all their services limited time only but I definitely recommend this place prices are very fare especially with the quality you recieve. read more

Claudia is awesome!! I got a keratin treatment and hair cut. She took a lot of time to give me the perfect haircut and do exactly what I wanted. My keratin treatment looks amazing so far and I like that the product she uses does not smell bad. The salon is very cute and bright. Found this place via a GroupOn I'd purchased. Booking the facial was pretty easy as you have the option to do it through the app and the Salon emails you a confirmation. So that part was simple. The space is on the smaller side but is clean, organized and the staff is friendly. There was plenty of street parking even though I came during rush hour. The actual room where the facials are done is very basic, like other reviewers have stated there absolutely no frills. However, service is impeccable and my skin looks and feels great. I got a pretty awesome deal and paid only $30 for a one hour European facial, although, for the amount of filth she extracted from my face I would have given her my arm. The aesthetician( I'm a douche for not remembering her name) was very thorough in her analysis of my skin and chose the products she used accordingly. She explained exactly what she was doing as she did it and went into great detail regarding ingredients and other such things in the products. They use image brand products. Never heard of it beforehand but I have no complaints. Can not wait to go again. read more

Very informative and friendly. Enjoyed the esthetician. Do not expect all the frills, just a nice facial. The facial last about an hour. This includes a customized facial- I received a deep cleanse, face massage, exfoliation, she used a vibrating tool to lift the dirt, blackhead extraction, oatmeal mask, lip mask, several moisturizers and I opted out of having steam due to eyelashes. I've been going to Svetlana for over a year now for facials about every 6 weeks. She is good at what she does, tailors the facials to my skin goals/needs, and charges a good price. I love the Image products she uses, as well and also buy them from her. My skin has cleared up all the way and glows now. She also offers microblading (which is a wayyyy better alternative to eyebrow tattoos-google it). I have seen her work and it is fantastic. If I didn't have nice eyebrows already I would definitely do it, because imagine all the time and money to be saved when you don't have to paint your eyebrows in any more?! read more

Claudia did an amazing job. I am so satisfied with the entire experience. She truly listened to me and cared to give me the cut I wanted. I had extremely long hair and wanted to cut about 6-8 inches. She could tell I was a bit nervous about this so we did it inch by inch, and she kept checking with me to make sure I was okay with the length. She is so talented, she can really cut my hair the exact way it needs to be cut (mine is very thick so it needs to be cut choppy). She did these amazing layers that give my hair great texture! In 31 years, I've never had such a great haircut. I will 100% be back and couldn't recommend her more! read more

Had a groupon for (3)European facials and was pleasantly surprised by my first visit. Lana was incredibly informative and thorough with her analysis of my skin. It had been some time since my last facial and for my first visit here it was what I expected meaning less relaxing and more information driven. This is a terrible salon that has messed up several of my appointments and treats their customers horribly. Several months ago, I scheduled an appointment and the appointment was confirmed. I had been texting and calling with the salon. On the day of the appointment I showed up to the salon and it was completely closed, nobody inside, I waited for about 30 minutes and nobody came. There was no answer and no response on the texts and phone calls with the same number I had been communicating with for weeks. No apologies, no follow-up. Several months later, I went to book another appointment at this salon and they had recorded the whole incident as ME being a no-call and no-show, and that because of this they would be charging me a $50 fee to book this next appointment on top of the service cost! Unbelievable, horrible service, will never, ever book anything with this place again. read more

My very first facial here. Lana was AMAZING! She makes you feel very comfortable and keeps you informed on every step she is doing. I have been coming to Infinite Beauty to see Marya for my monthly color treatments for a year now. Prior to my first time meeting her I had had a lot of color done that reflected in mismatched and dull hair. She was able to fix that, bring out my natural color with perfectly blent-in warm accents. I absolutely loved her work! And I have been coming to see her ever since. She is very creative and does a terrific job with highlights, balayage and color. She is very diligent, always takes time to keep me happy and my hair healthy and vibrant. All at a great price! I have a tendency to book my appointments last minute, yet she is always accommodating! This is a big joke. Tried making an appointment online, they don't have facial option under appointments. Tried calling them, and left them 'infinite' voicemail, and no one ever called back. Calling Alinea and getting a table was much easier than getting hold of this useless salon. Finally got hold of a lady called Claudia, and got an appointment for Saturday afternoon at 1pm. So I was on my way to the salon, and called them at 12:57 to let them know I was looking for parking and be there in a few minutes ONLY to find out that they don't have any appointment available for that day. Um sorry, then why did you confirm a 1pm appointment and made me drive all the way here? Her answer is they are planning on calling me to tell me that they don't have a 1pm availability anymore. It is 12:57pm!! When are you planning on calling me to let me know that you don't have the 1pm available?! She has no answer! She kept saying 'do you want to make a future appointment?!'!
