Peter made me so uncomfortable during my massage. I was fully exposed for most of the massage, with minimal attempt to keep my groin covered. I'm convinced that he rubbed his genitals on my hand at one point, because there was some back and forth rubbing on my hand that did not feel accidental while he breathed super heavy. The massage itself was not a modality I have ever had before; there was no stroking but instead just pressing and holding for long periods of time which did not do much to relax me or loosen up my tight muscles. I definitely won't be back. My massage was a couple months ago and I delayed in writing this review because I convinced myself it was all in my head, but after reading similar reviews I feel it's important to give my experience a voice so other woman are aware of potential risks.

This was June 9th. A week later on June 19th Peter charged my credit card anyways. I tried calling and calling and he only picked up the phone once to basically brush me off and tell me he'd "take care of it". Needless to say he did not, and I am now filing a dispute charge against him with my credit card company. Do NOT come here, it is not worth your time, money, or stress. Never again.

I have searched unsuccessfully for a massage therapist that would truly help me feel physically, mentally, and emotionally better after working with them. Have you ever invested your time and money into a massage session and then left feeling like, well, that was just OK? This will not be that kind of experience. This could be life changing for you. When I stumbled upon Dena with Applied Pressure, it felt as though the universe had handed me a gift. You will never regret giving your business to Applied Pressure. Your body will thank you for investing in your wellbeing if you choose to make Dena part of your personal care plan. I appreciate how comfortable it is to visit Dena. There is no anxiety in meeting her for the first time. Her work space is private and relaxing. Water is provided after your session to help you stay hydrated. She does not accept tips, so the price of her services is all-inclusive. She utilizes various modalities to give you the best possible treatment for your current concerns. She is astutely aware of which areas need to be worked on, and has a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Her intuition is truly spot-on. I trust her to help me heal, so that when I leave her at the end of my session I have a renewed sense of energy, happiness, peace, excitement, and improved mobility. Seeing Dena isn't just "getting a massage," it really is investing in your health. I can promise you that this is the massage you have been waiting for and unlike many other options available to you, this one will heal you inside and out. Get ready to relax and rejuvenate. You deserve it. Dena is passionate, an excellent communicator, and she is consistent in delivering an experience that will have you counting down the days until your next appointment.

Like so many other folks, I booked online, which was super easy. I didn't bother looking at her…read morereviews, though, before I bought the Groupon. I should have. I couldn't wait. What could be better than a deep tissue massage AND a foot scrub? I planned my whole day around the soonest appointment I could get. I blocked off my own schedule, so I would have no clients today. It was going to be a self-care day. I rushed home from a nice lunch with a friend to plan how I was going to get there. I do not own a car, you see, so I take car2go during the week and rent a car on the weekends. You can't drop a car2go in Roseville, so I had to take the bus from Saint Paul. A 20-minute bus ride, with about 10-minute bike ride in below-freezing weather. All to get to my massage appointment I was so eagerly anticipating. By the time I arrived my fingers were numb and my face was red from the cold. I was SO looking forward to the warmth of a cozy massage table. And on the door, I see a sign (among a bunch of other, unprofessional, handwritten notes taped to the door) that said they had closed early today. I wish I had taken a photo. I never received even so much as a cancellation notice -- or a phone call. I really hate to write a one-star review for a small business, but eff you, Rapha Therapy. A very fundamental part of being a professional is actually showing up for your appointments. I understand life throws occasional curve balls, but if you need to "close early" on a consistent basis -- and since so many people have reviewed that you do, it looks like this is a pattern -- you should probably NOT be doing this work. NOTE: I didn't see inside, but the handwritten notes taped all over the front door screamed "this is a dump" to me. Not a place i would want to get a massage, since the scribbled notes all over the door makes me question not only her ethics, but her sanitary standards too.

I bought a Groupon for a 90-minute massage and 15-minute foot scrub. When I arrived, the therapist…read morewas a bit curt, and wasn't ready (I waited while she tried to print paperwork that she wanted me to fill out). They have signs posted in the office stating that Groupon made an error, and that the foot-scrub is included in the massage time, not an "and" like advertised. I was surprised, but the price was cheap enough I didn't argue it. The music in the massage room was upbeat classical, not very relaxing. The massage itself wasn't amazing, wasn't awful, just average. Except that we ended after 65 minutes. Not cool.
